Been coming here for 25 years, and sad to hear it has closed. Does anyone know if this is a renovation, or did Covid do them in?

The Hyatt is a very nice hotel. The rooms are very big and also the bathroom is very spacious. You have a great bar, you can sit outside and enjoy some good food and drinks. Staff is very friendly but also a little bit slow.... Never the less we spend a great time there.

Lovely lobby with coffee, bar area to sit and meet someone. Opens onto outdoor garden area which is lovely to sit in during summer, is like an atrium so very quiet. Good service. This is a classy hotel.

Great stay. Breakfast is wonderful, I had to pay extra for it, but it was still good. The juices are fresh and the service was wonderful. The hotel can pick you up and drop you off from the airport. You will have a better price with the hotel. The room was lovely.

This is not a 5-star hotel. The place is old, it's dirty, dusty, and reeks of smoke! Simple things like outlet covers are falling out of the wall, shower knobs are installed incorrectly...etc. It lacks attention to detail. The staff is super friendly and tries to be helpful and does their best. They definitely want to do good work, and I am sorry they have to work in these conditions, but their efforts simply cannot out weight the state of the hotel itself. To be honest, I can deal with old, and I can even maybe tolerate dusty, but smoke, that's a definitive no! Technically this is a non-smoking hotel, but that rule is cheerfully ignored by everyone involved. Combine smoke with lack of ventilation, and you end up coughing all night long, only to wake up with swollen eyes. I am looking forward to the day when this hotel is remodeled, and 21st century views are both aspired to and followed. Till then, I would try to stay somewhere else.

This is one of the best hotels i've been in. The food & catering for events is always on point. The concierge are so helpful. The conference centre is fully equipped to handle presentations from multiple different device types. I recommend.

Great location in Rosebank right attached to the mall, very polite and attentive staff for both the hotel and conference facilities. Breakfast was incredible with a wide array of fresh fruits, international and local meats, and eggs made to order. Room was very clean and bed quite comfortable. Only negative feedback is some areas of room and hotel, i.e bathroom fixtures could be better maintained to truly be a 5 star hotel.

This hotel has closed and is cordoned off with barb wire.

Wonderful friendly service. Alpha (concierge) was very helpful and the girls working in the restaurant at breakfast time were attentive and quick. Room service also very fast. Excellent location attached to Rosebank mall and many restaurants. Nothing but good things to say about this hotel :)

Good setting, ample parking. Christmas lunch was sub par. Food was hit or miss, some of it borderline 2 star quality. Plates were not collected, so we put them at the kitchen entrance. Ambient music and singer was a good touch. I assume that the Christmas spirit had something to do with the service and food, certainly not worthy of the hotels status.

Went for Christmas lunch. The food was very good, but waiting staff were slow and not very professional, service was as casual as if we were at a hamburger joint. What really worried me was the carvery standing in the sun, staff chatting idly as flies were making babies on the roast pork. I chose to eat foods covered in the brain maries. Singer had a lovely voice, but sound was up at least 5 notches too high. Made the experience a little tacky and less elegant.

The place is just great. You are guaranteed maximum comfort both in the rooms and workshop venues. The staff are friendly and make you feel at home. Although the breakfast is great you can enjoy it for the first 2 days and from there it becomes boring because of limited options. I am not a chef but I feel that they need to diversify the breakfast menu with local dishes.

The lobby and reception are great, beautiful and modern. But the room that I stayed with my husband was very old, the air conditioning didn’t work well, was too hot, the bathroom was old as well. This situation surprised me a lot, once we know Hyatt Regency is a great hotel, expensive and should keep their rooms as modern as the their lobby’s and reception. The restaurant is very good as the breakfast that is amazing with so many types of bread, fruits, jams, yogurts, eggs and everything you want.

Hotel closed for business. So sad. Not sure if Covid-19 got the better of another fine establishment? On street level, the whole perimeter is literally barbwired and closed off. Obviously preventing vandalism or even squatters moving in. It is such an awful sight.
