    Lovely and very neat place, you might want to carry a can of doom with you for the creepy crawlies... Otherwise very lovely. You get what you pay for.

    Perfect escape from joburg's chaos. Green, cosy, super-cheap, well mantained and clean. Several lovely cats, not to speak of all the game in the big enclosures. The owner is very nice and ready to help. She brought me to the nearest supermarket with her own car. Thank you very much!

    Very, very, very, very, very bad roofs are leaking, in rooms floors very slippery. Walls are cracked. I will not recommend anyone to stay there. Minus 3 starts

    It's a Backpackers location yeah. The communial kitchen can get an upgrade, i.e. microwave and refrigerators.

    What a lovely backpackers lodge, Rooms are beautiful and clean! So peacefully quiet and lovely to see the resident Jackal. Really enjoyed my stay, will definitely stay there again on my next business trip; or my next backpacking adventure. Thank you, Protea Café
