Stayed here twice already and I must say, the staff is really really friendly! 5 star on that!! A cozy hotel fit for a quick overnight stay or business trip. Not for holiday! Rooms are clean. The extra blankets they give during winter are a bit outdated and could do with a replacement. Also didn't like that there's no fridge or tea services in the rooms. However, they have tea services by the reception which you have access to until 10pm. It's just a bummer to walk up to reception at night if you need a cuppa. Unlike sun1 Pretoria, they don't have breakfast facilities. I'd give this place a 5/5 but the location is a bit daunting....borderline parktown/hilbrow but particularly because of the meter taxis who don't like you using uber's as this threatens their business!

I did a booking early in the morning stranded, but the attending receptionist was very friendly and supportive....very informed about his job. The place is neat and well managed. The overall service was on point ....keep it up guys!!!

Excellent in security. A client can even choose a room of her/his choice. Warmly welcoming Receptionist with a reasonable price. I give thumbs up on Berea Sun1.

The hotel itself is good but the surroundings aren't very safe

It is a great hotel to stay at for a night but not safe when you leave as to I was told by security that Ubers are not allowed inside the premises and I had to walk outside the premises to go get my ride which is not safe at all😡

I needed a decent place to lodge in order to attend a two-day church conference at Ellis Park Arena. Is like I made the best decision by booking with you. Any time the venue is chosen for another conference, I will definitely come and stay there.

I love my room, and the staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful. If only the tap at my sink didn't water the entire room, things might have been different. But I feel safe, my car is safe.

There is no generator when the power goes off. They have the friendliest reception. The checking in was quick and hassle free. The clean was room.

It's not bad their house keeping when their start to work their make noice charting gossiping don't think for other guest who are still sleeping other thing evin though you check in for 2night it's only 1 barth towel and 1 tissue, so wish their can improve that their evin send you feed back email when you comment no feedback thank you

This is a convenient stop for when you need somewhere decent enough to spend the night. The rooms are small and economical, the location of the shower in inside the room in a way that I don't necessarily like. It did get a bit noisy at some point but nothing too bad. Staff was helpful and it was good enough for what we needed for the two nights that were spent there.

I went there on the 25 of june this 2022 I was so disappointed too much cz I know everything regarding sun1 is perfect the air condition was not wrking while it was very cold this whole weekend u stay inside the bed even if u don't want cz the room was so cold when u go to toilet they use 1ply of toilet paper I was so shocked otherwise the staff is so friendly I'm shocked about what I see can't they improve like otherbtsigo sun czthe hotel that is under tsogo sun they are 1000 percent good

The Hotel Is Nice, Clean And Workers Are Very Friendly As They Even Listen To Us, They Keep Order In The Hotel And Keeps Their Equipments In A Good State At All Times... Daily Cleaning A Room And Changing Of Bedding On A Daily Basis, Which Shows Being Neat

Good hotel for a stop by night, downside is the location isn't safe at all

The place is decent and affordable. The staff is very friendly. The only major downside is the presence of meter taxis right outside the main entrance of the hotel...this creates a hostile and uncomfortable atmosphere for hotel guests who opt to use e-hailing services (Uber, Bolt etc).

This place isn't bad for when passing by it's clean and has friendly, helpful stuff however the surrounding is noisy. No breakfast. Rooms are tiny for more than one person. No extra blanket provided.
