The room we stayed in required a lot of attention. The ceiling was caving in, lampshades were broken - bedside lights weren't working, handles missing off drawers, taps falling off in the bathroom, black algae in the shower and around the basins, towel hooks had come off the wall. The staff were friendly enough but very lacklustre and difficult to find when assistance was needed. The breakfast was very mediocre. We were looking forward to spending a couple of nights at this guesthouse because of its location and the good reviews but it fell miserably short of our expectations. This place could be a gem with good management and some TLC.

The basin in the room we were in was clogged. The guesthouse advocates for the environment, so the water was...um...not hot. I'm not sure about how strict they are regarding the water temp. I'm hoping they could turn it up a notch if asked. Ooh, we also had to ask for towels. Besides those issues, it's an okay place.

Poor Services. 1 towel for a double room. Towel was old and small. in request we received a 2nd towel that dirty. Bedding was ragged. Pillows was flat and moldy. No water and no milk only coffee. Plugs not accessible to charge phones or hairdryer. Kettle needs to be kept down till boiling point. Carpet in shower was old and ragged and water spilled from shower onto floor. TV quality was poor and not even to start with the channels! Balcony door could not lock Chair was full of stains. Outside door was stuck with crappie and could not lock smoothly. Top of bed and other furniture was dusty and no flat sheet in bed! Base cover was torn when I bend over to put on my shoes. paid R750/night and was told we have to pay extra for breakfast where it was advertised as included. Refund was denied and very rude afterwards. we were offered a stay in Brooklyn were the reviews are just as bad as this place!

This is the worse guests house I have ever been at. Bedding was dirty and dirty sheet. Towels were dirty and never replaced. Bathroom were dirty with black algae on wall, ceiling and inside showers and around basins. Staff is never to been seen. Pet friendly but no real play area for pets. Party’s happening on a daily basis with no control and bottle were laying all over grass area for days. No play area or safe area for my pets. You need to ask daily for fresh towels and toilet paper. The kitchen is dirty and microwave is disgusting inside. No breakfast gets served or even a option there off. No COVID protocol are being observed and rooms dnt get clean on daily basis. Only ones as you arrive but rooms are disgusting dirty and unhealthy to stay in. This is by far the worse place I ever stayed. If it wasn’t for my pets I would have asked a refund. Absolutely unacceptable. No spa as advertised. Will never see this place again !!!!!

Poor service. Staff unprofessional and unwelcoming. No remotes for guest need to call them if u come in after 9 in evening then they also don't answer. No airconremotes was in rooms. Plugs don't work Rooms sell moldy and unpleasant Note or milk provided with coffee and sugar. Staff walking bearfeet and sleeping on coutches as we come in. No Rechargeable lights in rooms with loafshedding. Never will recommend them

The guest house is nice and quiet, very peaceful and the rooms were warm. However the breakfast was underwhelming for R120.00 a head my friends and I didn't enjoy it , there was no cereal or fruit or even fruit juice. Very tasteless Vienna sausages were served. Other than that the place isn't too bad.

Rooms are spacious including bathrooms with bath and shower. Entrances are a bit tricky if you don't know the area. Improvement needed on towels (they are very old and hard and past their time) as well as tea making facilities ( kettle was old and dirty, coffee served in a little bottle as well as brown sugar); they will do well to serve sachets for health sake. There is a bar fridge in the room for your convenience.

Dilapidated, filthy, not maintained, useless unfriendly staff, black mold, rotten skirting, dirty furniture. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Amoris guest house perfect for a small getaway. With a shopping complex 700m away and we’ll secured area this place makes one feel very safe. The rooms are decent and have the basics and the facility allows your to feel as if you are making the most of this place.

It was Terrible. I have no idea why refound has taken 6 months. I am not sure problem is in this hotel side or hotels.com side. I had canceled my reservation while free period in Jan., but it was charged in my credit card. Then I emailed to hotels.com and this guesthouse. However no reply. Finnaly I requested it to the card company. Then finnaly it was refounded in Sep. I will never book this hotel.

There was a power outage when we arrived. I was taking a cold shower because there was no hot water even next day morning. The staff's response was the worst. I would never visit again.

NEGATIVE ZERO STARS. The spa treatment was very good, the ladies were so nice. But everything else was terrible. The pool area was so loud, there were people chilling there with a very loud speaker the whole night just making a noise, we couldnt even use the pool, we couldn’t even sleep, unacceptable!!!! The food was terrible, was supposed to have dinner in the garden cause I saw a picture that they posted on Instagram, it was just false advertising, the receptionist had to cook cause apparently the cook was not there , the food was dry. we only had one towel in our room, no soap. They just dont try at all. Wouldn’t recommend.

When we entered our room, there were dirty coffee cups still in the room. The room also had no towels and we had to request for clean towels.

They need to offer SS channels so that you don't have to drive out when you want to watch soccer. Rooms needs lightning improvement

We went there for the second time, and this time I was disappointed to find a broken toilet sear, the pool was not cleaned on time and there were cockroches.

My strong feeling is that the people managing this place are cutting every possible corner and skimming off the top. Superficially it looks like a good establishment but is rotten within.

I cannot even give this place 1 star because they are not worth it.I booked online and even called to confirm and they said rooms are available. When I arrived the lady asked me if I hooked online and I said yes. She told me that they nolonger have rooms because people extended their stay and hey are fully booked. Later on I checked on the website and it was still showing that there are rooms available and I asked her why it's still showing on booking.com and she said she updated it . She then tried to call other guest houses to look for available rooms, but did not even get one.she was busy with her phone the entire time ,rude and was not even remorseful. This place is unprofessional and in my opinion needs to be removed from all booking websites.

Not happy with the service of the night guys staff, he was rude, i called and told him i was going to be late for checking in simce i was driving from far and he told me the guest house will be closed, he just lacked customer services, i had booked for 2 nights, sunday morning when i woke up we had no towels im the room jad to call reception and when the lady brought them she dint even great, for me it was a bad experience

I specifically asked the receptionist to ensure that the room windows are closed by sunset, sadly two nights in a row, I got back late around 23h00 with all the windows open and mosquitoes in room.

There were no towels in room, received dirty towels. Some guests in another room had a drunk party two doors from us that lasted till after midnight with the staff apparently joining them. Bedding was absolutely bad, the pillows nothing more than limp bags. My opinion is this place does not deserve to be called a guesthouse, rather a 1 star motel.

I booked online on Wednesday called to confirm my booking Friday afternoon before my checkin however when I got the I was told that their fully booked there was couple in front of me that only arrived then to request room but they were offered 1 without booking.. the guy was rude and told me to report him... apparently he is the manager and can't be touchable

We didn't even stay, we booked online and they confirmed our booking by emailing us a day before. The day to checking in we called them and they told us they were fully booked and gave us their second branch in lynnwood as an option. When we reached there, the place looked so different from the pictures on the site. The swimming pool was so dirty. From there we just drove out and went else were. So disappointing.

I was not provided with the room that I booked. When I arrived, they told me they were fully booked even though I booked online in advance. The room was full of fungi in the room scurtings and in the shower. There were no towels in the room, when I requested towels, they gave me dirty towels. They had two-point bedside lights but had no plugs or adaptors for them. They had a no refund policy and was not able to cancel my booking. They moved me to another room the next morning, which was a similar room, but still to what I booked and paid for. There were no toilet paper and no towels, I had requested towels and they only proved me with a hand towel. The neighbours smoked in their bathroom, and all the smoke came through to the room's extractor fan into the room I stayed in for the entire night and morning, I had two asthma episodes throughout the night because of the smoke which caused a panic attack. This is really not what they advertise. The place is falling apart and maintenance is not done. the downlights are falling out, the scurtings are broken and the sheets are torn.

The service was bad. 1. There is a lot of false advertising. 2. The staff is misinformed, they mentioned different prices and different services . 3. The pool and kitchen are dirty, I felt like vomiting when I was in the kitchen.

Very professional and friendly staff . The room had a warm touch to it , it felt like home .
