It's good value-for-money accomodation. If what you're looking for is a decent bed, a hot shower and working WiFi for a couple night's stay, you'll be good. You won't get any air-con, fan, or fridge in the room (at least I didn't have any in the room I was in) and the TV reception is okay, though a couple of channels are barely viewable. Your room can be cleaned everyday if you'd prefer that and the helpers are all pretty friendly. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to avoid the rooms directly overlooking the street, because you can have taxis and vehicles passing pretty late into the night and pretty early in the morning.

It wasn't what me and my husband were expecting, the shower doesn't have a shower door the whole bathroom was filked with water and we couldn't use use the bathroom after bathing. another thing the shower head keeps falling of whenever the tap is opened.

The place is extremely cold. The DSTV has very few channels and no remote. They aren't any two side pedestals. You get even colder as you take a shower. No shower curtain and bath mat. The bathroom floor gets very wet after a shower. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone ever.

Ok although appearance from outside isn't that attractive and the beds make lots of noise!! Which is not a good thing at all, the bathroom doesn't have any toilet paper nor does it have any towels the walls are thin and the t.v remotes don't work they also don't provide you with your room key for your own privacy. So I'd give this place a 1 and a half / 1.5 rating

It is the worst place I have ever been in my life. The place is so cold. The shower is cold water and they don't even have a heater.

Staff is friendly. Only one problem is the safety outside of Lodge. The lodge is situated in a dangerous zone place

This place is cheap and tight security. I give it 4 because you have to come with your food since.. the is no good shops around..

This hotel is in a great spot, nice and quiet. You'll get a guaranteed good night's sleep here. Overall, the place itself was clean, but looking a bit dated. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean comfortable room. Breakfast was excellent quality, choice and value. Staff were all really helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

It is safe and no reservations costs, I usually book with them as it is closer to the down town/CBD of Johannesburg.
