The hotel is situated in a safe location and next to the highway. East gate shopping mall is within walking distance from the hotel. Friendly security at the entrance. There is safe secure parking with wheelchair accessible parking and entrance. The hotel is exceptionally clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was good. There is a large pool and seating area outside to relax by the pool. There is a food menu, should you want to order room service.

On the 19th January 2023, at about 21:30pm next to the room where I was sleeping room 302, one of the guest tipped me off saying I don't think this hotel is safe, when I look around I saw a strange guy hiding on the door next to the window, I made as if I'm getting ice from ice machine, and on my way to my room I walked straight to the strange door, to my surprise the door closed slowly, immediately I went to inform the security that responded by saying, they are not responsible for people standing by the passege, wow I was shocked, question is are the security cameras working? or is it a franchise? I just want to ask the hospitality on bondsman, and further ask law makers of what is the rights of guest, and the Management team thinks they are superior wow🙄😒over all bad attitude like a bunch of uneducated power possessions I'm so disappointed!!

The service in this hotel sucks, the food is below average. Turn around time for room service is 1hour 30 minutes just for a pan fried fish and chips.

I was not expecting much, but was pleasantly impressed. While a lot of the fitting show wear, the place is clean, the rooms are clean and everything worked. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Overall the few days I was in the hotel were pleasant.

Received horrible service from the management of this establishment. I am a regular client who frequents the place, and will no longer be booking with them again. Went down for breakfast at 10.20am, was told that it is management's time to eat breakfast and that it closed for clients at 10am. About 5 or 6 management staff were there dishing up, 2 of them reprimanded me on two seperate occasions about how i am not to dish up since breakfast closed at 10am for clients. I ended up leaving (without eating) after being given a mouthful by the white manager over food.

Clean rooms, good facilities. However the MAJOR downside would have to be the lack of organisational planning to place a group of 50 boys belonging to a sports club in rooms in between other guests. They were rude, loud and disrespectful of other guests and families. Poor management and oversight in this regard and left a sour taste on the whole experience. Couldn't wait to check out!

The first morning was fine, I had coffee in my room with milk. The second was disappointing as no milk was supplied. I was rather desperate for a cup of coffee after having a very late or should I say early morning. The location is okay, as it is close to Eastgate shopping mall. I grew up in the this area and it was very sad to see the amount of litter and illegal dumping. It was not like this when I grew up.

Safe, convenient, clean, great spacious rooms, great staff, great restaurant. Safe parking. Perfect location. Close to Eastgate and other malls.

Would have given the hotel 5 stars. If not for the fact that on the days I was there, they were hosting various school (Yaaay for them, we know what covid did to the hospitality industry). Breakfast and supper were a nightmare, the children made noise the better part of the night, and kept knocking on my door.. looking for their mates I suppose.

I was very disappointed with my recent visits. The room wasn't prepared. Very dirty. No complimentary items in the room eg; tea, toilet paper, soap. No halaal option for breakfast, pork placed in the same banes as the veg options so couldn't even eat that. Breakfast staff was horrible. Impacient and seemed disgruntled. Both the heater and room landline were not working. For the price paid, I would not recommend.

Service was great. The receptionist went out of her way to assist us...esp when things in the room began to fail. Like the aircon. No fridge in the room. But they managed to locate one after a day. Breakfast was good.

Great place, did not spend much time there, but they were kind enough to give us breakfast very early prior to going to church at 4 am in the morning.

The stay was comfortable and the place is beautiful but the best part was the food. The chef made us special dishes and made us feel very welcome. Thank you and we will definitely visit again.

The Garden Court Eastgate provides comfortable accommodation. Hotel is clean. Staff are not the friendliest but are there to assist. Close to the mall.

The hotel is good. The showers are wonderful, but the water spill into the toilet area. To really relax during the day, ummm. Cleaners make noise. Breakfast fantastic. Had issues with my side lights and were not attend to. Staff reception excellent. Free shuttle service to the mall and back. Wonderful. Generally a good hotel.

This hotel hosted me doing my Quarantine and they were nothing less than perfect

The hotel is very beautiful to stay on holiday and enjoy the variety of Johannesburg. It also opposite to one of the very nice mall Eastgate.
