For business person and backpacker alike, they have a dorm or a private room available for you, with the most helpfull and friendly staff ready to help. Really felt like home..was living here almost a month.

Good and decent for the price. House keeping and Admin system can definitely get better. Dusts on the blinds triggered allergies when it's windy. If staff does get to read this I hope they sort that out. I like that it's gated and secured and location is strategically close to malls and places of interest around.

Good day. So, after emails and phone calls you guys are yet to contact me regarding our voucher. 3 months later. Nothing. We even had a team stay by you recently where we really would have liked to use this voucher. We now have no intension of ever staying at your accommodation again. And a voucher at this point is futile. We want a full refund. This could have been handled in a very professional way but due to incompetence from your team's side, it didn’t turn out that way. I phoned in last Friday demanding the owners' number to ask him personally what's going on. I was denied. I told the lady, Tracy I think .That she must get the owner to phone me back that same day. I am sure he still doesn’t even know about this complaint. I will now post complaints on all your platforms and on Hello Peter every day until somebody gets back to me with answers regarding our refund. Post 1. Every post after this, I will go deeper into my personal experience at your establishment. And no, It was not that great. I am not the type to bring someone down. But waiting 3 months for a reply , a call or the just the voucher that you promised clearly indicates a lack of professionalism and care for your clients. Waiting for the owner to phone me back. I love the convenience of the location of the lodge! A great space to lay low and relax before getting back into the hustle and bustle outside. I got to meet quite a number of interesting people visiting from different parts of the country and beyond. My experience has definitely been an eye opening one. I appreciated the environment, staff and fellow guests. The potential to be better is there, it just needs to be capitalised on. 😊

Just received your pathetic response. I did make use of your backpackers in 2019. That's the response I'd expect from incompetent people like yourself. Your receptionist was very rude, and I still stand by my review. So I'm not sure how I am being vindictive. You guys offer poor service and should close down. It's unacceptable!

The place is a mess. It is not as in the pictures. Kitchen is filthy, bathrooms are not tidy. Though the room I received was upgraded as the one I booked was filthy when I booked in. Won't stay there again, as I used to live in Blairegowrie and this is below standard for the area as well as fact that I stayed in a hotel in region ten years ago and this place is far below standards in terms of the type of area Rosebank is!

Cool place. Could do better with repainting on the outsides but inside rather cool. Well maintained & cleaned daily. Looks and the experience is better than the outside view.

The beds have uncomfortable sponges and a share room is still dark with one light that isn't even a common globe. The place smells bad especially the lounge.

The place is centrally located. It attractslost of tourists, we used to get people from Overseas before Covid, close to all the major centers, busy to commute either with a bus, taxi or a Gautrain. However, it could use a bit of renovations, painting, deep cleaning, new linen, and updated front of Office( it's frustrating to travel for a long time, and get to a place hoping the check in will just be hassle free, but then it's a long process ,I hope the owner read this, and improve the service

The place is very bad the pictures posted on line are not correct the place looks horrible inside and the rooms are bad

The backpacker hostel is not what you see on the pictures, it's way different and the pictures only show the lodge side of the place which. And on the backpacker side you share bathrooms, toilets and kitchen with more than 10 people, don't expect luxury on the backpacker hostel side but due to the fact that most places are very expensive in Gauteng, the price is reasonable for Gauteng.

Im so happy Precious helped me out ,she is so patient, i went to her to complain as i was in this tony room and she just assisted me quickly ,thank u Precius ,i wish all thses backpackers had more Stuff like her.

We stayed for about 3 night extra because they have this awesome discount that gets higher the longer you stay! The place itself was super relaxed and made us feel like we were at home. Would recommend to friends.

First of all, FALSE ADVERTISEMENT THE PLACE LOOKS HORRIBLE!!! The kitchen is dirty and the blankets are not clean. Secondly, the showers are leaking and the doors are falling. Thirdly the service is very poor and they expected us to follow the rules and they did not even read them out! They have a stinking attitude and they are very rude! I am not happy with the place because of how it was. They did not even want us to chill by the pool! We were not allowed to chill in certain places. Lastly I wouldn't recommend anyone to go to this place

There's a pregnant lady at reception that was very rude to me, there was another one I think her name is Tracy she doesn't know how to treat guests. They are so rude I have never experienced such rudeness in my life.

It's the best place to stay, the staff is very accomodating, friendly and lovely. I also love the fact that it's conveniently close to the Rosebank Mall and other vicinities you might be interested in exploring.

The place is a mess, unlike in the pictures, they have 1 worker who knows nothing. Bathroom no toilet papers, you have to pay for the plate, cups and everything in the kitchen they don't tell you this when you book. The water is cold in some rooms. The worse place I ever been my whole life.
