Firstly they didnt have my booking. Then dinner took over an hour and it was 2 burgers and chips. No hot blanket or extra blankets in room. Then the lights tripped, so there went aircon. Neither door to the room locked. Woken at 5 by kitchen staff, then again at 7 bringing my lunch, 2 ice cold vetkoek filled with salty lumpy mince. Then the water was ice cold. Next night they spent 2 hours trying to fix the locks on the door and lunch was dried out toast with fried egg which was indistinguishable. Then they charged me for meals on my departure. Overall a very, very poor show which is unfortunate given that the guesthouse is nicely appointed. Hands off to Daniel fir trying to sort out all my problems and the catering lady who tried to present a nice evening meal. Just poor overall management.
