In short, no reception, bafly maintained roads, no safety with regards to wildlife. Reception made us pay again lying that they didn't receive payment so eventually we did a 10 day payment for a 30minute stay(not refundable). It was basically the makings of a grreat scary movie. No neteork signal no way to contact anybody for help. No peace of mind.

We had the worst vacation ever.. We booked on time, our room was not ready even the receptionist didn't know about our booking. The room was a disaster not Clean, we had to look for frogs even the bathroom was a disaster. The private pool was the worst. Update ur pics n stop editing ur pics. What we saw on the internet is different from seeing ur apartments live.. Put doors between the kitchen n bathroom room no privacy

The place gives you more than you expect. It's an amazing get away from the noise of the city, if you like silent evenings over a braai or around the pool, this is the place for you. They properly clean and sanitize every Chalet along with the pools ...

The place needs more than TLC. There are spiders crawling everywhere. I do not recommend this place. There are far better places around the area. The pool area is far from the cottages. This place does not consider mobility of those who have underlying health issues. The scenery is beautiful on the mountain top but I'm certain there are other places that can give you that. I emphasize that I would not recommend anyone visiting this place. Some of the rooms are worn off and there are spider webs everywhere including the light bulbs in rooms you are supposed to be sleeping in. Poorly managed facilities as well.

Loved the seclusion of the cottages. Loved the views. Loved the pool. The rooms were smelly from the 100yr old carpets. Toilet in the same room as bedroom was a no-no especially since there is no separation. I wish they would at least change the carpet. P. S. We had room mates- some animal--which jumped on our bed at 6am, gave us a scare but they where harmless😂. Something we'll laugh about one day.

Arrived to the resort, the service was bad. Git to our cabin the toilet was blocked with a terrible stink outside, not able to use the outside shower due to the smell. Cracked tiles, maintenance was bad. Security was terrible. We asked if we had room service, we were told that we had room service. We went to the mall the next morning to return at 10:30, no room service. We were advised that someone would check in on us at 18:00, on one pitched to see if we were alright. Terribly disappointed. We booked for 3 nights but stayed for one and there was no one in reception to take receipt of the room key when we left so I could not even raise my concerns! Very disappointed. We booked into a resort nearby as this trip was for my moms 50th birthday. How disappointing

Intermittant Water supply, no pressure fr showering when there was water, toilets did not flush properly, drains blocked with back up of grey water into shower outlets, powerr trips in the one room. Setting is really good. Place needs some serious maintenance.

Lovely rustic little place near the mountain. We stayed in Flycatcher and it was quiet and tranquil with a small pool and braai area near the rooms. The only problem was network connectivity but the wifi near the reception offices was sufficient. Just a heads up, the road leading to the cottage is not so great. We got stuck on our way, in the middle of the night. Not an ideal situation but if this happens to you, let some air out of your tyres, dig away any sand that may hold you back and get out of the ditch that way.

Enjoyed the weekend. Quiet and out of the way. Not a lot of animals to see, but still had a good time. Nice walking trails, but most of the ground is not old people friendly, lots of ups and downs.
