After our initial (negative) experience and my review here, the manager, Taku, contacted us and asked us to give them another try. When we arrived there tonight it was clear that they had put a lot of work into the restaurant. Everything was now clean and tidy. A hostess welcomed us at the door, sanitised our hands, and let us choose a table. Service was excellent and Taku made sure that our waitress, Mokgadi, looked after us. They answered all our questions about the different menu items. The food was divine and service was provided with a smile. Thank you for the effort you've put in to change things. It is appreciated - and you will definitely be seeing us again.

Nice cosy venue. Only tried the sushi and was ok. Atmosphere is great and the thai food next to us looked great. A nice place to have a quick bite. Prices were average to high for the sushi. Other dishes seemed well priced. Service was acceptable and we got what we asked.

Quite simply, standards have dropped over the years. Sushi and Thai food used to be exceptional but now it's very underwhelming. The store was cold but there was no gas heater for customers. There are a few restaurants in the same centre which does this for customers. They didn't even give us mints after eating fish, we had to bring our own! Service was also so basic, they didnt even come to check if we doing okay. Sad to see how this place deteriorated but will have to be really desperate to go back.

I've always loved Simply Asia's food. We were there on a Thursday night, so it was very quite. But the food was amazing as usual and the service was good.

Ordered dumplings and sushi, portions are tiny for the price. I don't eat a lot but that wouldn't fill anyone. The food also wasn't good. Disappointing and won't be back. The place is also extremely hot and no fans were on. At least the service was good.

The service was perfect, with an attentive and friendly waiter and manager. The starter I ordered came at most a minute after ordering and the main was ready as I finished the starter. The only thing I didn't like was that the coffee is quite weak, but that might just be preference.

I ordered via Uber eats , it was a R596.30 order , the sushi was all messed up , the rice dishes as well as the noodle dish was taste less. The sauce was all over everything. I regularly order from simply Asia Mall of Africa & Forest Hill and get really tasty & good food. I am super disappointed in the food I received from you tonight.

Food was great, and the service was good too. You get a -1 star for allowing Uber eats to still use you. How can you make me wait for 30 min, after the food has been ready, because you are searching for an Uber driver to come pick up the delivery.. If I did not drive myself, it would have probably been delayed for an hour.. Don't use them, guys.

I thought the food was exceptional and really well priced. I ordered a starter and a main but my main came before my starter and had to be returned. I found it strange that the restaurant closed at 9:30 on a Friday

I ordered on Uber Eats 558H Tom Yum-half portion and the order was half done ,no mushrooms,no boiled egg just zero effort put in meal. I was so disappointed because I usually go there for set in but today decided to order as take via Uber eats because of my pregnancy cravings . Never gonna order again.

Ordered a takeout to be delivered to my hotel as an alternative to hotel food . Wish I hadn't bothered.. The chicken Satay was extremely overcooked and very dry. We ordered a chicken dish with rice, it arrived with pasta! The sachets of sauces with the dumplings, sushi and spring rolls are extremely poor quality. I suggest the restaurant invests in appropriate packaging to keep the food warm and palletable, the current cardboard containers don't work! All in all an extremely disappointing meal and certainly not worth the R900 we paid for it. Will be sticking to the room service menu in future!

Not a great experience. The service was quite slow and poor. The quality of food was also not great. The sushi fell apart, the spring rolls tasteless and chewy meat in the dim sum. Least authentic Thai experience in Pretoria. I would recommend Teriyaki located in Die Hoewes. Way better value for money.

Wow!! Food delicious and the service great. I really didn't expect much other than the run of the mill Asian cuisine. I was really blown away and the sushi was good too. Definitely will be back!

Terrible. Was the only customer there. Waited 30 minutes for a waiter to help and after that I got up and left. They didn't even realise I was gone!!!!

Nice and very helpful staff. You cat eat inside or outside. It's a great atmosphere and plenty people eat there with the kids. It looks over the city ,and makes the atmosphere even better. Children are safe to play in the courtyard until food is ready to eat. Stay open to late and convenient entry to the tables for the disabled. Love the food and is reasonable with the price. You can have a takeaway if you would like to eat at home or work. The toilets are clean and fresh. You can use the ceters bathroom as well next to Pick a Pay. Its fun for the whole family.

Been going there a long time. Today restaurant was empty. Staff members more than needed as we were the only table. Shocking service. Floors filthy. Never going back there again. Could not believe the change. Went from very nice to below average. Waited forever for our food. At least that was good when it arrived.
