I was admitted few hours ago in the maternity ward and I am extremely disappointed. Firstly the nurses were rude, unprofessional and making me feel uncomfortable. Secondly linen was not clean and thirdly when you're discharged they do not give you information about exiting the parking. I was turned back by security at the gate to go back to the ward to ask for a card to exit parking. ☹️

I had the worst experience at Paediatric Ward. Their service is very bad. If you want your child to die of coldness take him/her to Louis Pasteur. They expect your child to bath around 04:00 in the morning and their couches doesn't recliner. When you tell me about it. They don't do anything because they know that during night shift they are gonna sleep on the couches that recliner while they told you that the parents of those kids are using them. I will never visit that hospital. It doesn't deserve any star at all. Clinic are even better then this so called Private Hospital

The service of this hospital is at an all time low, from the admissions of patients to the nurses who give you poor service and not even care of what they talk about. Am not a professional nurse to say how they should give service. But I know that humanity is key more then anything. And this hospital has no humanity. No respect and worse for me my 1 year 6 month old daughter is the one who’s admitted.

This is the WORST hospital ever. Lady at the reception of the casualty area is ignorant and rude. I arrived there with breathing difficulties while having a panic attack and she was pushing a go-slow that day. I come to this hospital every six weeks to get dental check ups and so I usually wait by the reception until my orthodontist or his employees show up. This has been like that for the past +5 years. All of a sudden today (10/4/19) I walk into the reception, on a phone call, and some man tries to rudely interrupt me while he can SEE I’m on the phone. I obviously point to my phone and he waits. As soon as I hung up he starts barking at me about how this is not a waiting room. Didn’t even take a look at his name badge because I just wanted to leave that environment. 0/10 recommend this hospital to anyone with serious medical issues.

My experience thus far, cleanliness not up to scratch it's not comfortable taking a shower in Louis Pasteur showers because it's not clean in 2 minutes you are done imagine with a shower you cant stay for long in your own home. Food OMW horrible, horrible they give you a paper where you tick what you would like to have the next day but still bring wrong food, cold food, dry food and stale food. Their food preparation is questionable because it might cause a health hazards to some patients who have a sensitive immune system and a sensitive gut. Their cutlery, plates and trays are not clean I had to thoroughly clean cutlery before I start to eat you cant finish the food because of the presentation hopefully they will improve on that soon, they give you used plastic spoons imagine the gems and bacteria that is building up in your body/gut because of those non sterilized steel spoons and used plastic cutlery, they must give patients plastic spoons that are sealed to show that they were never used before and they are new. Yah neh our medical aids pay nonsense when it comes to these private hospitals. They dont care about our health moes because you get sick from their food nje. Louis Pasteur management attend to this matter ASAP.

I shall never recommend this hospital. My sister is admitted at surgical ward. It's the worst ward ever. She was in a major surgery which was not a success and is awaiting to do a repeat surgery. The only reason she is still here is that we are waiting for a bed in another hospital since we couldn't take her home. Pain management is below zero. Today as I visited her at 15h00 they had not given her her daily medication not helped her to get bathed and not changed her linen. The ICU team which received her after theatre were very professional and a Dr Matlala was very warm and helpful in assisting where the nurses were challenged. Worst hospital I have ever come across and I am generalising due to the treatment at Surgical ward. Mihloti

Worst Paediatric Ward! The nurses are very mean. The kids were afraid to even ask for water. The air conditioner was very cold even though most if not all kids were admitted for Bronchopneumonia. I brought an extra blanket for my son and they took away the hospital blanket from him. The child was traumatised by this place.

Rude nurses at paeds and dirty wards

Im going to be honest , im starting with a 2 ☆ and will explain why I never went 5 ☆ and ending on a 4☆ ...My Mom came in on a Monday and the staff and Sisters were extremely friendly and accomodating, However on day 2 I noticed dry blood on the side of my moms bed which is very Un hygienic naturally you call the staff to point this out, the head nurse then came and quickly attended to this which impressed me however on day 3 things changed drastically, the bathroom shower in the ward that my mom was in was not working, after 15min of ringing for assitance a sister came and told her to use another wards bathroom, my mom proceeded happily only to find the 2nd shower she tried was also not functioning, after standing for 15min in the hall in a towel a sister walked by and my mom relayed her concerns only to be told in a negative tone to go use another wards shower, I have an issue with this firstly you as the sister should escort my mother into another person's room, not expecting a patient to walce alone into another's patients room. Anyways my mom then left with one option decided to bath out of the basin and went to her room, she then needed assistance and rang the bell again and here is were it gets really unacceptable and dangerous... NOT 1 staff member attended to the nurses bell for as long as it takes for it to stop on it's own accord. After a while the head sister who was helpful the day before came in with the maintenance man and found my moms bathroom full of water. After my mom tried to explain but could not as she was interupted by the head Nurse who's helpful damina from the day before changed to a frustrated negative attitude . Lets call her Ms M ...then called her staff into my moms room to sort the mess out and arranged my mom to recieve the presidential suit... but my mom was told I dont really want to give you this room but this makes up for it. I dont like to complain, but when it's due its necessary. Dont offer good service but with a bad attitude. Either you strive for excellence or you dont. And for this reason I would say that I would have given this hospital a 5☆ even after all the bad things that happen but the fact that when they fixed the issues it was done with a very negative attitude and in a manner as if we dont want to do this but we will.

Wouldn't recommend anyone to this hospital. Not clean and Horrible service. My son and I were admitted for 7 days and that 7 days felt like a year. The whole peads ward share 1 toilet and 1 bathroom not even clean though 🙄. Nurses are not even friendly they will take time to attend to you and the drip machine that's forever making noise. It doesn't deserve to be a private hospital at all I'm very much disappointed.

The worst private hospital iv ever been to my daughter was admitted in the peads ward, the facility is not being maintained, the service it was very bad, the food comes late, cold and very dry, i ordered omelett for her but i got just fried eggs with the gravy inside, yooo i wouldn't even refer my worst enemy there

My daughter was admitted in the 4th floor ward, very bad service, I asked for an extra blanket for her but the nurse didn't even bother to put it on her bed, and the bed linen was not clean at all. I asked for a Wi-Fi code for her so that I can communicate with her her but they said the vouchers were finished till the last day she was discharged. I had to wait for the TTO script for almost two hours until I asked them what's happening, that's when they started following up with the pharmacy, very bad service indeed.

This is the most inefficient pvt hospital I've ever come across, but excellent at charging exorbitant fees even for parking. R20 for 30 mins, like really! Admissions process is a nightmare, I couldn't believe my eyes when they told ambulance staff to join admissions que for patient they were dropping off

There is a problem with the Intensive Care Unit,every patient after 3 to 4 days of admission they start bleeding from the inside. Even though they are admitted for completely different reasons. Something is very wrong

This hospital has lost its past glory. I almost died until my family decided to have me transferred to Netcare and that's when I started to get better. And thanks to God 🙏🏿 I'm awesome now. Horrible service I've ever experience in a private hospital. My daughter was hospitalized for 7 days in the Paeds ward, Nurses take long to attend patients, they do their admin work more than taking care of patients. The drip machine will make noise and they will pass as if they don't hear it and when you call them to attend it they also take long. The child who was next door didn't have parents whose sleeping with her in the ward, she would cry and they will pass next to her not even go check her. She would cry 30-45min without being attended. No masks, no nappies given and milk comes when it suits them. Mothers must sleep on a couch. only 1 toilet and 1 bathroom used by the whole ward, they said another toilet is broken but even for the 7 days we stayed it was never fixed. DONT COME NEAR THAT HOSPITAL,PUBLIC IS BETTER COMPARE TO THEM! GO AT YOUR OWN RISK. My daughter was admitted there two weeks ago. Staff is great but their food is aweful in dirty trays and dishes. Dirty linen and she was complaining about her drip that was forcefully put on her hand. She had many holes and swollen hand. I would not take her there again

Quick and efficient casualty unit. They don't waste time with paperwork and care to have the patient first attended to. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Dr Cynthia Sathekga in orthopaedics is the ultimate definition of what any Doctor and specialist should be i.e a human being who treats patients with the outmost respect and humility... I have seen and worked with many doctors, and 99% of them are so arrogant it’s paralyzing, but yesterday Dr Sathekga showed me that doctors and specialists can be saved from their elevated view of themselves... great medical facility and outstamding medical staff

Very professional and courteous medical and management staff. All the facilities are new and well maintained. Excellent Neurologist Dr. Lezanne Wynand-Ndlovu Just a pity that the service received from the Radiology department was a bit poor and disorganized in administration. The results of the MRI scan that was completed at 16h15 was only available at 10h00 the next day after the patient had to follow-up.

Paeds, My son was admitted, I wanted to go home but after realizing that there was a child in the next room who was crying unattended I had to stay there for good 5 days. I was sleeping in a very uncomfortable couch. The nurses always had squabbles amongst each other, they argued on who should attend to the drip🥲 There were some nurses who were friendly enough and looked concerned, I remember her name was Christina, she was so friendly.

Had the most disgusting "ultrasound specialist" today MJ molahloe munyungula and partners. The gynae made me wait 2 hours for him to see me in less than 5 minutes, dude was very arrogant and condescending. I'll never set foot there again. With very dirty consulting room

Not really private hospital standard, a good number of the staff are friendly enough but the facilities and feel of the hospital doesn't feel any different from a public hospital, not very organized or orderly it doesn't feel like the staff are comfortable in their work. It was clean at least

City property is renovating the hospital, the workers are very aggressive and abusive, they don't want us to use stairs. There is a lot of noise from the machines they are using.

Busamed Modderfontein is the most friendly efficient hospital we have ever been to. Dr Wynand-Ndlovu (Neurologist) is absolutely fantastic. Staff at Surgical ward are attentive, helpful and very knowledgable. Down from the admissions to the porters everybody was absolutely outstanding. Thank you all, we are humbled and grateful for your care. Trully a great experience, did not expect to see so many caring people all under one roof

Paeds, the service is very poor. You order food, they bring theirs not the one you ordered. They don't provide nappies for children, they don't provide simple things like mask. They don't feed children, they are careless. They don't give children medication in time, you have to ask and they show attitude. My child missed medication because they think he is fine. They denied my wife to go out to look for food. That's the bad experience I have experienced in private hospital ever. I won't recommend anyone to go there.

Maternity ward. I went for a minor procedure & I was devasted, the nurses don't care for patients & are rude. My experience was terrible & I would not recommend anyone to go there. I had to ask repeatedly for linen to be changed, didnt get any assistance to bath even though I had difficulty walking because of my procedure. My BP was very high but was not monitored, had to ask many times for pain medication which is when they remembered to give medication, I asked my Doctor to please discharge me as I felt I would be better at home. Food is terrible... Couldn't even eat it, just had the morning porridge. Yoh, worst hospital experience of my life!!!

everytime i take my daughter to the baby clinic i have to wait at least 30 minutes before im assisted and its annoying, these ladies would just sit there and chat while laughing and i have to wait for when they feel like assisting me, its annoying i am so angry, its the 4th time i come here and its the same story every time. I expect to be assisted or atleast explain to me why i have To wait.

Improved so much. Admission process at reception could be better.Dr Kotu was amazing & operation went well, my room was clean. Really cannot get over how great the nurses were except for nurse M. Maake who was on nightshift, she was very dismissive and never wanted to assist anyone. The things she said about the other patients was really distasteful, couldn’t wait for the morning shift to come through. The food was good and the kitchen staff were nice and patient.

Rather use alternative hospitals than this one. You will pay all per-required payments after months you have been discharged you will be told you are owing then they send debt collectors. There is no transparency. The hospital should conduct services according to the scheme rules and per individual medical aid options.

I brought a patient and have been waiting for over 3 hours without any information and when you ask for information they tell you that they are going to call you but no one bothers to tell you atleast what's going on. I hate this hospital

Admission took a very long time. Coming to the paeds ward, the linen is not clean, poor pain management, poor hygiene, staff is friendly and helpful in some things. from Johannes at the front desk that admitted me, who was very efficient, kind and welcoming, to the ward staff, at the surgical ward on the 5th floor, absolutely nothing was too much trouble. The kindness, compassion, true care and pride in what these wonderful men and woman display in their chosen field is an absolute credit to this hospital, their profession & their country! The theater staff were so kind, compassionate and went out of their way to soothe nervous patients. There was a little boy of a bout 2 years old, terrified of course, the nurses took him, rocked him, sang to him and calmed the child down so much so he could be calmly worked on in theater. I felt like I was in a beauty spa more than a hospital! Ladies and gentlemen, you all deserve medals you are fantastic health care workers and human beings! Don't change a thing! You guys ROCK! Building its self is a bit old, but beautiful nonetheless...the foyer is exquisite...those chandeliers...WOW! Just pity its not a great area that its situated in, but besides that. Its pretty close to perfect!

This is a new hospital located in Modderfontein. I suggest following my location setting, else Google maps will send you outside of appropriate range. This hospital has orthopaedic specialists that are absolutely amazing. They were able to save the arm of a colleague which was at risk of being amputated. 4 operations later and he will be discharged soon with a fully functional arm. This hospital is new and clean, almost looking like a hotel. My new favourite hospital and well within range !

Staff are friendly and efficient. Doctors and nurses are so professional, kind and provided extra care. They made the process as well as the follow ups so comfortable. Definitely good medical facility if needed.

I am very heartsore, as I went to have a mamagram at your radiology department as was requested to take off my gold chain, which was my mothers, and she gave it to me before she died of breast cancer. I forgot about it after the stress of having the procedure done. When I phoned I was told it was not found. It is so said there is no honest people out there. I have such a heavy heart.

My daughter had to be admitted suddenly and I was terrified because I could see how the hospital looked. For a private hospital I must say this hospital looks disgusting. My daughter is 11 but she stayed in the Peadiatric ward. How do you have one bathroom for an entire floor? The food is equally not appetizing PLEASE CHANGE YOUR MENU AND CHEF WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT patients need proper wholesome food not that disgusting unhealthy unappealing food🤢🤮 During her stay there was no water to flush or drink. They told us it was a municipality problem. Unfortunately I didn't have a choice and my daughter had to be admitted. There's no tea time for the mums or any water in jugs like other private hospitals to keep kids and/or parent/s hydrated. What a disappointment really I'm disappointed and shocked at the way this hospital looks and the food that was given to patients in 2022. LOUIS PASTEUR PLEASE DO BETTER

Labour ward has excellent service gave birth to my first and recently second baby. The sisters are dedicated and took great care of me the few times I've been admitted until birth. I would like to thank the midwives. 31 March night duty I forgot her name she wears glasses and has a sesotho name. She was amazing! Rebecca, Priscilla, Harriet, Khumalo thank you so much for all your hard work. I truly appreciate it. Maternity ward was okay could be better though thanks to sister Matlou and Dlamini and the ladies bathing and feeding th little ones.

The food is so bad as if we in a public Hospital.. They are saving too much. I guess is a new tender rendering service because in March 2022 the food was good.

Visited Radiology. I was initially told my appointment was on the 7th floor. When I got there a gentleman was considerate enough to take me all the way down to floor 0 where the MRIs are done. He took my papers and told me to someone would come assist me. After 5 minutes he came back and saw me still waiting and went to enquire why no-one has seen me yet. Staff friendly.

I'm admitted as I write this email. The hospital is poor, even a government hospital it's better than this hospital, I'm very disappointed about the bad service they provide, I won't refere any of my friends, family & colleagues to this hospital I'm even thinking of discharging myself.

I legit wish I had read the reviews before coming here for the second time. Come or bring your child at your own risk. The frustration you'll experience is out of this place! I highly recommend a true private hospital. A public hospital is so much better because you have no expectations, here the frustration is also due to the fact you have to pay for the terrible services!

What a wonderful and clean hospital! I was attended to straight away and both the nurse and doctor who helped me were so friendly and explained everything clearly. Would definitely recommend this hospital.

Usually have a good experience here but I was quite disappointed during a recent visit. A member of the Busamed Modderfontein Radiology branch was extremely rude. She shouldn't be working in a space where patient confidentiality needs to be respected. Management don't bother replying to complaints.

This is by far the worst private hospital in Pretoria. Their reception area and emergency unit are picture perfect but wait until you go up the lift! My son was admitted in the paeds ward. The nurses there are so tired and lazy. They look as if they retired and came back. The operational manager didn't even bother to introduce herself to us as mother's to our sick babies what a shame. I wasn't given the layout of the ward, had to figure that out using the emergency escape pic on the wall. Before something gets done, you literally have to ask those incompetent nurses about 5 times. My son wasn't even identified until day 4 of which I had to complain. They have no etiquette or whatsoever for patient care. They literally drag thier feet while walking. The noise they make omg! U have to ask for the remote like 10 times before they bring it to u. Let me mention the one dirty toilet that's used by the lodging mothers...not forgetting the horrible 1652 bath tub that doesn't even have a prop to close with, and oh the door doesn't even close. They way they wake those poor sick babies when thier mother's aren't there. What a shame. Dirty old building could do with some revamping drip regulators keep going off and they argue about who is supposed to attend to them. It was like a horror movie. Most of the nurses are so clueless about everything haibo guys. I'm truly disappointed. I'm never setting foot here again. I also don't recommend it to anyone for that matter

Team in the surgical ward was amazing, shout out to the nurses, doctors, kitchen staff. I was in pain but they really have put me at ease. Keep it up guys

The hospital on its own is very bad, most nurses are ignorant in the peads ward thy were sleeping thru the night, and 99 percent of them are rude.thyr lazy, yoh ive never been soo disappointed, that hospital is like tshwane, but there's a sister that stood out, very kind, committed, loving and she made sure that everyone there is okay her name is sister Tau, what a remarkable nurse, also sister Catherine I think the two of them should run that hospital

Dr OR mokoena is such a wonderful gynae. I recommend him to anyone looking for a professional and kind Gynaecologist. The maternity ward staff is so professional and friendly(Rebecca,Pheladi and the other light nurse who wears glasses and has a Sotho name).The nurses from paeds were so kind, professional and helpful. I got the best service!

I had the best experience... We would especially like to thank sister Tsie at the pediatric ward for being so warm and providing us with such amazing treatment.

Got an amazing service when I delivered my 3rd child. I will definitely go back to this hospital if I am to have another child.

My sister had knee operation, doing well will refer others to this hospital for car,thanks Dr Ramaboya🙏👋and staff in Hc and six level I still has my happy sister❤️❤️❤️

I wouldn't recommend this Hospital to anyone. Just left the ICU and I am in excruciating pain, told the nurses and they are not doing anything about it.
