This was a cool stop on our trip. It's 5 euro to enter and get a demonstration of how the mill works. The staff only spoke French, but were nice and still explained things to us. There was a sheet with some info in English which was helpful. We thought there was just the bottom part of the building to see but you can also see upstairs which contains a living space. It was a lovely day and this spot is unique and beautiful.

A long and windy patchwork of a road leads to the mill. This is no no major tourist attraction - it is run by the couple and tours are guided by Hubert who is absolutely charming and more than willing to explain everything carefully in French. An English sheet gives an overview of how the water mill operated and flour produced. We were lucky enough to be offered prunus eau de vie and to see the living quarters upstairs. As others have said - such a charming guide and a fascinating insight into times gone by.

Small and lovely. Guide (in french) love the place and share his knowledge more than willingly. Beautiful river sides. Dogs. What not to love ?

Amazing the sophistication of the mechanics. I was impressed with the use of curved turbine blades that are much.more efficient than the straight ones

Awesome bit of history and the hosts where perfectly delightful, making sure my wife and I got the full tour even though they spoke very little English and we speak very little French. Beautiful place!

This beautiful old fortified mill is still in operation and is, frankly, amazing. The equipment is incredibly old and looks like it should be in a museum, but it all actually still runs thanks to the dedicated owners. I have never seen anything like this place in my life--it is like stepping back in time technologically.

12th century Mill tour with a charming owner. I just had such a great experience. A really great guy with positive attitude to help you learn about this historic Mill. The fig liquor was strong. Hic!
