If I could give 0 stars I would. Staff is generally lovely and I’ve been going here for 22 years as it’s local but I’ll be trying my luck at another opticians due to my last appointment here. My glasses were supposed to be ready within 10 days, however due to complications took exactly a month since ordered. Could have gotten them for a fraction of the price online and would have arrived before this. When I went in to collect today, the staff member (I assume manager) misheard me say I wasn’t happy about how late they were and made a (not so funny) joke, once I explained that it was THEM who were in fact late said “well better late than never”. Not quite when I’ve spent half my pay check getting everything up to date and my current glasses are broken. Didn’t even offer an apology for the fact they were extremely late. I understand things go wrong but the nonchalant attitude wasn’t appreciated especially when I spent a few hundreds just for them to be a whole month late. Think some of the staff genuinely need training on how to handle matters like this as it isn’t the first time things go wrong for me in here.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I just had to give props to the amazing team at Camden Specsavers! I've been to a few other branches before, but Camden takes the cake when it comes to service. The team prioritised finding the best glasses for me, even though, I came in 10 minutes before closing which was a lovely experience. Big shoutout to Hannah going up and above taking the time to break things down for me like no other optician has before – she's a real credit to your business.

I had a very good experience at the Camden High Street branch. I only waited for few minutes before my eyes were tested. The two women customer service workers were very helpful to go through the options. Even though I wanted to use my old frames, I did not feel pressured to consider buying new pair of frames. When I return back two weeks later to collect the two glasses, I had very positive experience with the male sales assistant.

I had a bad experience trying to do a contact lens fitting at the Boots opticians store a few doors down so as I was leaving them I decided to pop into this Specsavers store and see if they could help me. They offered the contact lens fitting for free! They were so helpful and friendly and it was all done so fast. Really recommend!

The lady with the purple hair went above and beyond today to help me fix my broken glasses. She made my experience a lot better considering the anxiety I had as I can’t see without my glasses. Great customer service :)

Do not get your lenses changed here. They have damaged my frames, installed the wrong lenses and held on to my glasses for more than 3 weeks while only providing 5 pairs of contact lenses. Speaking of contact lenses, I ordered some more than a month ago, Sharita the receptionist said the order was never placed, rushed me off the phone and never called back as promised. I have asked to speak with Amar the shop owner over a week ago and none of his incompetent receptionists have given him the messages so here we are. I have been left without glasses and contact lenses while this shop fumble around with basic requests and this has ment that I couldn't use my vehicle etc, which is a massive problem as I am a Carer. They also make up prices on the spot and this can change 10 times in one conversation while they try to convince you that they are saving you money. I will be registering with an alternative optician in kentish town today. Avoid!

The Optician service is excellent. All members of staff are very professional, pleasant and helpful. I look forward to my annual appointments!

The manager here does not want to help and will go out of his way to be unhelpful. A shame as the other staff are good but he calls the shots- cannot recommend unfortunately.
