I came to Yum Yum Caribbean Cuisine today for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised by the large selection of food on offer. I got curry goat and plain rice, vegetables and a portion of plantain, and a bigga fruit punch to wash it down. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were so so friendly and very very polite. I honestly will definitely be back again as the food was so good and I would definitely recommend that everyone comes to Yum Yum and experiences their food themselves. You will definitely not be disappointed.

Oxtail and curried goat were exceptional!!! PROPER rice and peas! Wow the flavours! The quality and the presentation were brilliant - the rum punch and the side salad was fresh, light and perfect alongside! The ladies were lovely and although we live an hour and a half away, we'd come back tomorrow if we weren't otherwise engaged! Thanks for such a great meal.

It's definitely some of the best food I had in London. Jerk chicken, rice & peas and the beef patty was amazing. If you are going to an Arsenal match, you should visit here for some great food before visiting one of the pubs for pre drinking.

Being greeted by 2 smiling ladies behind the counter pretty much set the tone for my experience at this place. I ordered the stew chicken, curry crab, a portion of jerk wings, rice and peas and plantain. The food was delicious, very well balanced. The vibrant colours and presentation matched the fantastic flavour. You can really tell that the chef really cares about his craft. Definitively worth trying if you’re in the area. You can dine in like I did (but it’s limited seating) or take a trip for takeaway or ordering online. Very happy tummy!

Wow! Have had take aways in the past but today did a lunch time sit down and was blown away. Presentation - on point, Food - a true taste of back home, VFM - 💯. The Manager/Head Chef is so personable and attentive, definitely a place "to fill yuh belly buss"

We just had this for our dinner and I have to say it was the best Caribbean we have EVER had! The portions were decent and the food was definitely fresh and full of really good flavours!!!! I will definitely be ordering again and recommending that family and friends try it to!!! It was really that GOOD!!!

Wow ! What an amazing take away for my birthday. The food was absolutely out of this world. The fish and meat platters were so tasty especially the rack of lamb and prawns. The mac and cheese was lovely. We ended up ordering more and the service was great. Wayne was so helpful and efficient in making sure the seconds were delivered as quickly as possible. Highly recommended 👍🏼

Had the Vegan curry- However it was served as raw vegetables in a marinade of spices. The flavour of the marinade was flavourful, but not sure why its called "curry" as it didn't seem cooked at all, the vegetables were extremely crunchy! The ackee was nice. And the lady that served me raw vegan curry was very polite and friendly. Not sure if this is how their vegetable curry is usually served, or if they forgot to cook it, and perhaps served it this way in error?!

I haven't even finished my meal but I HAD to come and leave a review. I had my hair done a few doors away and the shop front looked very welcoming so I asked the loctician if she would recommend it and sure enough she did, specifically commenting on how clean the establishment was and the fact that there was no cross contamination. I ordered a peppered steak with rice and peas and a saltfish patty and....WOW!!!! The portions were generous, the patty was divine and the steak was tender. On top of that, all staff members were so so friendly. It's my first time in the area and certainly won't be the last UPDATE: 3/2/24 This time I had a pattie and a red pea soup which was that day's soup.... once again, everywhere was clean, they had EVERYTHING available and the food was absolutely delicious. I think I'll just work myself through the whole menu because the flavours are just so amazing. Thank you!!! I ate everything before I could take a pic!

I been going here from 2018 food and service has always been on point real friendly staff to especially Kiki she looks after me anytime I go there! Love the fried chicken & rice with stew chicken gravy 👌🏾 top tier!!! 🤌🏾

First time dining here for lunch and certainly won't be my last. Food was 10/10 giving Michelin style presentation. Staff are lovely and accommodating and Manager makes you feel so welcome. My new lunchtime spot.

I visited this restaurant last night at about 2130. I had the boneless curried Chicken with rice and peas. As I left the restaurant I could feel the weight of the food in the bag so I knew that the portion size was good. I got home and it filled my dinner plate. It was amazing, one of the best chicken currys' I have had, tasty with a little kick but not too hot, enough sauce that the rice was not dry. I really enjoyed the food I will definitely be back to try other dishes. UPDATE I went back on the 13th of October again at about 2130. This time I ordered the Jerk Chicken and again as I left the restaurant I could feel the weight of the food in the bag. The portion filled my plate again four nice size pieces of chicken and a good portion of rice. Just from looking at it I could tell it was, marinated and freshly cooked. It had a lovely kick, not so hot that you run for a glass of water but spicy enough to let you taste the flavours. This is my new favourite place to eat out.

Banging food and slushy rum punch . I found dis shop on my lunch break. I'll be going there now at least 3 times a week!! Best Caribbean takeout I've had in a good couple of years! Keep up da good work 👍🏾

First time eating at Yum Yums. Warm welcoming and helpful. Food presentation was great,I enjoyed my meal. Also enjoyed looking through the cook books you had on the shelf. Will visit again, keep up the good work.

Customer service at its best, the staff were so welcoming and polite. I couldn’t believe how many options there were as the menu is huge! Ordered a range of different dishes and enjoyed every bite. It’s not easy finding a decent Caribbean takeaway but I’m so glad I stumbled across this hidden gem in North London. Love the fact they cater for fussy people and have boneless meals available. Fried fish is a risk as restaurants fry differently but this was cooked to perfection. Definitely a must try for anyone and I’ll 💯 be going back! 😋

They catered a function for me at an outside venue and were absolutely brilliant. Every person commented on the food. Some even had THREE plates...very friendly and efficient service with a smile. Top class food, top class service!!

I was (emphasis on 'was') a local customer ordering the same meal and to be fair, had no problem with the food. But the guy who serves front of house wearing a chefs whites is extraordinarily rude and very arrogant. There are plenty of Caribbean takeaways locally that have better customer service (and food) than what he is serving.

Some of the best Carribean food around and most highly recommended. Everything on the menu is great quality, fresh and enjoyable to eat, the food doesn't disappoint (and I have, over time, been making my way through that menu!) The Restaurant is always busy, and that is testament to the food and service provided. There is something for everyone dietary wise, and allergens are minimal due to the production. Big thanks to YumYums Carribean Restaurant - Best of the best!

My local Caribbean never lets me down! Been eating here regularly for about 5 years now and I’ve probably tried everything on the menu with no complaints! Had a jerk wrap today and it was sensational🤌🏽would recommend to anyone.
