Beautiful spot with scenic view of river. Cozy pubs nearby (Kingfisher and The Bridge) for those keen for a drink or some food.

Great place for a quick dog walk, easy parking which is free for a while & lots of shallow areas for dogs to paddle & get a drink. No facilities here, just a meadow and the River Thames. Be aware, sometimes there are cows roaming around on the meadow, they are fine so long as you keep your dog under control & ignore them.

One of my favourite places to take my dog, he loves the water. Just be mindful it attracts large groups in the hot weather who do not always tidy up when leaving, sadly bbq's, food waste, tents abs even human waste does not make for an enjoyable walk or time there, and not great for pets and wildlife alike.

Nestling between the road and river, Dumsey Meadows is a SSSI and grazing land. I walk there with an on lead reactive dog as it is fairly quiet, interesting sniffs with good visibility to keep a safe distance from others. There are 2 small car parks with 1st hour free, rubbish bin and poo bin. But 3 stars only because 1. Sadly despite clear signage to keep dogs on leads, owners and dog walkers with multiple dogs let them run off lead. 2. Also there is a disappointing amount of poo not picked up which considering it's grazing for cattle is really unacceptable as both dogs and cattle can get nasty parasitic illnesses such as neosporosis.

👍👍 Lovely park, popular with dog walkers. Clumps of trees with some large old trees dotted around, and wide open grassy spaces. Parking at at least three spots, two off Shepperton Road and one down by the river. Beautiful on a sunny day and peaceful when it rains.
