The ordering was simple and they have a novel buzzer system to let you know your food is ready, I like that. Most chicken places are just chicken and mayo variety, but this was actually pretty nice with the different garnish and sauces on the burgers and fries. The Korean glaze fries were quite sweet and creamy with cheese, and don't expect to eat them without making a mess! Tasty though... And the spice up was a little spicy but not what I'd call hot, just enough to taste. What I also like is they do a mini burger option. Basically the same in mini burgers as they do in the regular burgers, just a smaller chicken strip in a hotdog bun, if you're not feeling greedy, bit cheaper but you get to enjoy the flavours. The service wasn't bad, but with the checkout bots, non existent, service was simply pick up your food off the counter top and go. Overall, it's a tasty snack stop, but not the sort of place you'd go to for a sit down meal. Beats the colonel though for sure.

The food was honestly great would definitely recommend after visiting on more than one occasion, however one of the servers called Zak did make us feel a little uncomfortable with comments about the amount of food we ordered which I find highly inappropriate and just made quite a few comments in general which we weren’t really happy with. Although he did ruin the experience, the chef and other two female servers were great and very delightful.

This was a pleasant experience. Staff were really friendly and food was good as well. The price range however is pricey for chicken burgers but is similar to franchises prices like GBK. It definitely has more Korean flavours like kimchi. Chicken was also juicy and flavourful. Definitely recommend trying out.

I love Chik'n and always go when in London. I believe that have the best chicken burger in the UK. Only second to Chick-fil-A who have the best chicken burger in the USA. The new Xmas burger made me do a little dance it was soooo good. The fires where done to perfection. The guy who served us was so attentive and genuinely cared about our needs it was really refreshing thank you and keep up the good work.

Very stylish on the inside, even with screens for ordering which was impressive for a chicken spot other than the usual you know who. The service was friendly but not enough to make up for the food unfortunately. The chicken left a LOT to be desired. 😔 I didn't taste or see any seasoning on the chicken or breading, therefore they lacked all flavor pretty much. The tenders where cooked through but not fried hard enough for me. A few tenders slipped right out of the breading. A huge no no when it comes to chicken tenders. The Hot Sauce (75p) was not good at all. It was terrible. It was thick(!!), very vinegary and not spicy. Hot sauce should not be thick like mayo. It should have been labeled differently. The Korean Bowl was OK. Rice was decent, coleslaw was too soupy for my taste. I wanted to like it but there are better tender options for the price. I wish them well on Upper Street as its a tough street to crack.

Really good wings and fries, and the tenders are pretty nice (though a biiiit expensive). Well presented food, everywhere was clean, service was fast and efficient once I'd figured out how to order on the touchscreen :') (the buzzers weren't super obvious to find). The BBQ sauce is awesome! It tastes smokey! The hot sauce could have been spicier. The lady with the blonde hair (maybe German?) was lovely - she complimented me on my smile, and I overheard her saying nice things about other customers :') I initially tried to order at the counter, and she was very kind about directing me to the touchscreen. She gave me mum vibes ❤️ I'd come back and try a burger, but at this point Mother Clucker is winning on chicken (though gets less points as it closes earlier).

I just moved to the Islington area a couple months ago and have been trying all the fried chicken places in the area… This place is without a doubt the best. Affordable, delicious, and fast. Fried chicken is juicy and appropriately crispy. The homemade sauces are excellent as well. Big portions too. Highly recommend!

One of the best chicken I’ve ever had... definitely in my top two, but can’t make my mind up! The place is very inviting with open front and a lot of colour to the design. The food was on point! I’ve been to places where they hype up the food, but when you actually go and taste it, it ends up disappointing you because you expected more from it. This place hyped up the food, and it does exactly what it says on the tin! I enjoyed every bite of it, even though I wasn’t really hungry. That says a lot about it!

Very easy ordering process and staff was super helpful and welcoming. Food came out pretty quick and the venue was kept very clean at all times. The naked chicken wings tasted a bit plain hence the loss of a star but the Korean Sauce was delicious, not to heavy or salty. The sauce ratio to chicken wings was perfect. All wings were pretty crispy and the wings were a good size. Loved the garnishes. Would come again but home they improve the naked wings recipe..

This was our first time dining at this establishment, and we could not be any happier with our experience. Ordering our food was simple, and our food came out pretty quick too. As for the taste... we were completely blown away. I got the Cali Hot Chick & the Sticky Sichuan burgers. Both were incredible! We also ordered chicken fingers, a Straight Up Chicken burger. Even though both of these were ordered without any sauce, the chicken was so moist and flavorful it was fantastic without any sauce enhancements. The staff was so pleasant, and welcoming too! HIGHLY recommend for an overall great experience.

Ordered the Happy Seoul burger and a chocolate shake. Staff were very friendly and helpful and also offered free chicken wings if you ordered over £7.50 worth of food. Wings were crispy hot and tangy. Burger was crispy and moist on the inside and full of Korean flavours. Its easy to see why this is so highly rated. Loved my spicy chicken sandwich, the slaw was crunchy and the samurai sauce has a tasty kick. Space was clean and the staff that i met was an absolute angel (at angel lol!) Will definitely be back to try the wings next time!

Great staff and excellent customer service. Honestly a wonderful experience being served. That's where the good stuff stops. The chicken burger was cold, little to no seasoning. Chips again also cold. I'm not sure whether they warned up with a microwave from frozen or what. Anyways it wasn't fresh. The chicken breast tasted cold and really undercooked. Not really satisfied with the spend here. Can't justify how much I spent here for a meal for two. I wish had gone to KFC, would've spend a quarter that and been more satisfied.

The sauces are surprisingly tasty. It's the closest the UK has got to Korean Fried Chicken. If they did a decent double fried option, it would be the perfect place for chicken and drinks.

really delicious!!!! I got the the straight up for free as I ordered large fries on a special offer and this burger was kicking! Super crispy chicken and well assembled flavours. The fried were yummy too! Deffo recommend! The staff brought the food out quickly and the girl who took my order was a delight! :)

I’ve been here several times and have always loved it! Upper street has loads of food places and working in the area I’ve had the chance to try many of them (some other famous chicken chains for instance). Have found this place to be the best - always very helpful, enthusiastic and polite service. The chicken comes in generous portions, well-fried and very crispy but never oily. Would highly recommend gunpowder fries which come with tamarind and mint sauce! Very reasonable prices too for a more up-market fast food place.

Friendly atmosphere. Staff saw I use a walking aid so when my buzzer went off to collect food she bought my tray of food over. This branch always serves really fresh tasty food. Staff are checking to make sure we are happy and if we need anything else. Highly recommend this Angel branch

I have tried Wrap in the restaurant, and in a word it's delicious. I also had wings. Staff are approachable. Place is awesome for din in as the interior of the restaurant is beautiful. And most importantly, it's a halal shop. Happy eating 👌

Visited twice while working at BDC recently. Nice vibe, clean, delicious food and first class hospitality. The chicken, chips and dips were all delicious, fresh hot and tasty! The chick tenders were generous in size, perfectly cooked and crispy, as were the chips, some of the best I’ve had in a long time! The dips were also delicious and plentiful in size. What really struck me was the service. Duke introduced himself in a friendly manner and went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed and that everything was to my liking, he went above and beyond what you would expect in a restaurant like this. The service was better than I had received in a lot of other ‘sit down’ restaurants recently and really took me by surprise. Congratulations and keep up the good work!

Delish chips and chicken, I recommend getting the angry birds fries. Everything was great, the chef, I think called Angel? was super nice when I asked for additional boxes for takeaway afterwards. One downfall is the waiter called Zac, super nice maybe too nice. Next time you go, avoid him or you’ll get skinny shamed AND fat shamed. 5 star review regardless, because I’ve been like 4 times now and the food has always been yum.

I ordered the K-Town burger on its own which was just a shave under £9.00 which I feel is it a little overpriced but I’m pleased to say that it was worth it. The chicken was crispy on the outside with an excellent textural crunch, while the fillet itself was juicy and plump. The sauces were tasty, but it did have a noticeable sweetness and hardly any heat to it, so for those that don’t like sweetness in their burgers, this is a defo no-go! General cleanliness around the place could be improved, but overall it’s a pleasant layout with friendly staff.

It's a good chicken burger and good chips. The soft drinks machine does not have normal coke. The staff are nice and friendly.
