A strange place. Good food (though slightly cold) and good Pilsner. Lousy service. The waiter raised his voice. Walked away from the table without taking the order. The atmosphere was nervous and I felt like an intruder.

Food not bad and the possibility to choose between drinks and beers is good, which in the Czech Republic is not so obvious. Too bad the waiters ... Unfortunately in the Czech Republic they are often rude and listless with foreigners and in this place I had further confirmation. 🤷

If you are an expat, foreigner, or tourist, DO NOT GO HERE! I have been eating here for about three years. I enjoyed the food and beer selections, but the service is making me NEVER want to return to this restaurant ever again. In the span of six months, I visited Padowetz three times to get something to eat and drink. I wait for my food for about 30 to 45 minutes. ALL THREE TIMES, my food order was NOT SERVED and was not registered my orders. Seeing I was the only American/Foreigner in the restaurant, it seems the servers were more generous with the locals than me. I hope the manager wise up and fix the service there. Tourism is picking up in Brno. The current employees working there will ruin new customers' experience and destroy Padowetz's business.

I only visited during lunch menu time. More on the upscale side, good restaurant for business lunch. Staff is professional and meals are definitely tasty with quite wide selection. Clean and well designed interior as well.

Nice and cozy Pub/Restaurant. Non-alcoholic, non-flavored beer only bottled. Didn't try the food but it looked delicious.

Very good place right in front of the train station. Their beer is super quality and the food is good as well. Great tatarák, burgers and wings. They also serve some good whiskeys.

Food is ok, but we were waiting 20 minutes for burgers and beer. They forgot about our beer and I was have to wait another 15-20 minutes:) so I started eating in 40 minutes after making an order. This is not a staff problem, they tried to do their best. It is.management and underemployment issue

Very nice goulash and a great supply of beer. Really enjoyable time.

Absolutely delicious pork knee. And the presentation is worth a separate 5* 💕 Highly recommend for visiting.

It is an excellent restaurant with a long history located near the main train station. Can be good for going for a beer with friends or ordering some meal as well. Menu has a big variety of dishes. Also is as a good option to spend your time while waiting for the train or bus. The food is well prepared and tasty. I would recommend to try the pork knee. You will be pleasantly surprised by it is size (can be for 2/3 persons) 😂 The service is also nice🙂

Large pub, great for group hang out. Food are pretty decent compare to others in Brno. They have filtered and unfiltered Pilsner which are very fresh.

First, employees speak English - at least most of them. I was attended to the moment I walked in and the atmosphere felt right. Meals could be on the high side tho but you won't regret stepping in here.

Great place for good beer and traditional Czech Food. Definetly one of the better Pubs in Brno

Lunches are pretty much affordable, food is delicious. Staff is friendly and fast. They have excellent beer, so can only recommend it

Nice and modern restaurant. It took long time for food to arrive but it was well worth it. Very tasty vegetarian dish: grilled vegetables with parmesan cheese and chips. People seem to love "doing skarpeta" (you need to ask Italian person to explain). 😘🤪 Food was really tasty and we had grest time

We got seated immediatelly, despite the fact it was a saturday night and we didn't have a reservation (AND the place was packed). Waiter was really nice and helpful, pulled pork burger was top notch. No complaints here!
