In this pub you get the best Tank beer ever. Always cold and fresh! We go there for many years and come back every time we visit Brno. The waiters know us and they are really friendly and helpful. The traditional food is tasty and the prices are reasonable. You notice that it is cooked freshly. We can really recommend this place. We hope that you can keep that high standard! Conclusion: Absolutely the best waiters, the best beer and the best food we know in town!

Community forms around beer in Czechia and Lokal is one of the places to grab it in Brno. A spacious pub in the center, my family walked in around 17.15 on a Monday in July and got a seat. My wife got a Pilners with just a “slice” of foam, my six-year-old daughter got the raspberry lemonade, and I got the raspberry lemonade beer with Pilsner. We enjoyed each of our drinks! The raspberry lemonade beer tasted like a radler. Their soups are excellent! The lentil soup with Frankfurters was tasty. The fried cheese is phenomenal. We ordered two. Service and price were great! The space is simple, yet designed well.

Best beer bar in town! They have Pilsener in large barrels and you can taste that their beer is better. The tap is almost continously pouring beer. Nice interior as well.

Ohhh... Definitely it's one of the best places which I've visited! The atmosphere is just perfect, there is a lot of space, also on the street. Funny illustrations on the walls. The food is delicious! Everything cooked extremely good, smoothly, delicious! Definitely it's one of the best places to try traditional food and beer! Personal is welcomed and smiles, good choice of food and beer:) 5 stars!

Lots of local dishes, I wish I were here with a big group of people to try everything! I got the pork with cabbage and potato dumplings. Dumplings were tender, cabbage was sweet (maybe from onions?), pork was decent. Hearty without feeling heavy.

Just awesome. We are very pleased that we visited this place. I liked the atmosphere and we were able to pick where to sit. The staff was really good and helpful. They spoke perfect English so it was super easy to understand each other. The food was delicious. My husband had the variety of Frankfurters which he liked. I ordered buttered fried chicken schnitzel which was yummy 🔥🔥🔥My son enjoyed the fried cheese. The waiter was really kind to my son, as soon as we sat down, he arrived with a coloring page and a cup with pencils. So I was very pleasantly surprised. They have a kids menu and we were able to pick if we wanted to order a half portion for the kid. And last the BEER🍺 My husband really liked the dark Kozel. I tried the raspberry beer lemonade (with dark Kozel beer) and I have to say it wasn't what I expected.. it was better 🍻

Prices acceptable for the centre of Brno. Discounts passed on to students after processing the customer card. Friendly service. Food also good. Mostly offer Czech specialties. Beer straight from the tank. The restaurant has a nice design. The pearl is the toilets. And the best waitress. You won't go wrong if you stop here.

Very delicious Czech food. I had to wait 15 minutes for the pork tenderloin skewers, but it was absolutely worth the wait.

A great stop for local food with a slightly more modern interior. We made same day reservations for 2 people which is not necessary but recommended for the weekend. They have massive beer tanks which is fun to see and the decor is sute with lit graphics on all the walls. We had 5 beers, 2 mains, and a side for under 800kr (payment by card). Great friendly service and great vibes. Accessibility: 2-3 stairs required to enter.

You can’t never go wrong with Lokal. Classical Czech bar in modern way. Tasty food, good beer! I have never been disappointed with any Lokal location so the same was here in Brno! Pork heart goulash was great!

It’s a great pub where people of different ages can enjoy both drinks and dine. They serve the best beer in town. Lots of people drink just outside the pub. Cool experience!

I ordered the Veal Schnitzel with potato salad at this restaurant and was mostly pleased with the meal. The schnitzel was absolutely delicious, crispy and tender, and the potato salad was a great side. However, not all the staff were friendly.

Came back a second time after an amazing meal and experience 2 years ago. Unfortunately, the food was this time a bit underwhelming, underseasoned. But we will try it again. Their tartar is just too good and sadly was not available this time

This place offers excellent beer and food. We had pork tenderloin and fried cheese (which doesnt look great, but tastes heavenly). As an apetizer we had a sausage (great). The service was pleasant but, i must admit, slow. All in all, local that offers Czech experience.

Great bear. Fast service. Typical Czech food. You have to eat there to feel climate of that country. Great minimalistic design. For me 1 star of Michelin for authenticity. Go, drink and eat. No disadvantages.

Awesome place to be. Exceptionally well drafted (draft) beer, great home made lemonade, really good food (we had a juicy pork cutlet and super tender pork ribs). Oh, and they even appear to have hand lotion in the bathroom :) can get a little noisy when crowded, but absolutely recommendable. Fair prices as well!

This place won't be for me. I know that everyone praises it for it's beer and everything, but the place is just too noisy for me and I don't enjoy shouting at people around me when I want to talk to them. Similarly to my previous experiences, service was bad. Also similarly to my previous experiences, food is great. I can't complain a bit about its quality and taste. But I ordered beef broth and that broth was getting to me for quite some time. I think that staff just forgot about me. I asked a waiter about it, he said "I'm not taking care of meals, just drinks" and he left. So I was left there without any update about my order and no willingness of staff to even hear me out. I needed to wait for another waiter that had something to do with the meals at the place to ask him about my order. My broth arrived 1 hour after ordering. The staff apologized, but I don't get this approach. I like the system for marking ordered beers. It's a piece of paper with beers to scratch out. Staff does the job every time you order a beer.

Great tasting beer and nice looking place. However when I order a fish fillet I should not be finding multiple bones in the dish. Its quite hazardous actually. Plus part of the fish was not cooked.

You can get here one of the best Pilsners beer in Brno, for sure! The service is very fast a kind. During busy hours it might be a bit noisy and you need to speak a bit louder :)

Perfect pub with perfect beer. The Lokals are a nice chain of Ambiente pubs that have always very high level. If you want to try a Czech cuisine this place will always please with the tasty dishes. Beer is something you simply have to try. Definitely recomend this place.

It took 25 minutes to get two beers at around 9 p.m.. We sat down, waited for a few minutes, went to ask the waitress standing by the bar if we can order, she said we have to wait until someone comes to the table. The beer was good and came quickly once we ordered it. The place was very loud/noisy and full of people, so the waiting time is understandable, you might get a different experience but this was ours… We paid less than 6€ for two drinks (pilsner and “beer lemonade”).
