Just had a very interesting dinner there. When arriving, the waiter aggressively told to choose a table anywhere we want and throw the menus on the table. (We were waiting patiently to be sitted as we had a reservation and didn't know if we have a dedicated table or not) When coming next, he was kind again. After the order we have received our meal in like 5 minutes which was really strange, did not have the chance to enjoy the environment and our beer before starting to eat. The portions were much smaller as we expected based on the pictures, the quality was kind of OK, but also beyond expectations. After finishing, the waiter did not ask if we need something else (just if we want another beer or not when taking our mugs), so after some time when he was walking nearby I called him as we want to pay. He already had our invoice in his pocket ready! Collected the money and said bye. We were out from the restaurant in less than an hour! Local people seemed to be having a great evening there, but it was obvious that they were not happy to have foreigners there as well.

The quality of the food was terrible, it looked and tasted old. The portion of duck were very small. It looked to us just like reheated food. But the prices were more expensive than many other places with much more quality in Brno. It could be a matter of lack of staff (was Sunday), but if they can not provide a minimum quality they should not charge these high prices. Beer was good, but with this food could not enjoy it.

Had their impressive goulash with excellent special draft beer (semi dark something). I was very satisfied although my first impression wasn't that good (quite a too tourist vibe, only 0,4 kegs). Somehow I missed a photo of a full glass of beer, therefore a photo of an empty glass :) next time!

Can be a little touristy, BUT the beer is superb, haven't tried the food though. The menu looks great nevertheless. Please do something about the sewage smell in the area next to the toilets. Update December 2023: The food is awesome, service deserves 5 stars too. This place quickly gained many places in my ranking, well done!

I couldn't imagine a visit in Brno without visiting hotel's Pegas famous pub and specially having their Pegas Gold beer (caramelized dark and light mixed beer 6%) personally I highly recommend Pegas goulash, top quality meat and overall delicious dish! Staff is very friendly too.. If I could give 10* I would.

This restaurant-cum-brewery-cum-hotel is situated perfectly in the city centre. The restaurant is lively with a positive atmosphere. The beer is very good, the food although is a letdown. Just average and uninspired. There is much better food to find in Brno

This is an authentic Czech restaurant in the centre of Brno. They serve excellent beers and the food is very good. The waiters are fast and attentive.

I really enjoyed the spare ribs. They had been roasted in the oven and weren't covered with a sickly sweet sauce the stout was very drinkable

They make their own brand of beer, 5 types and they are one of the best in Brno. The restaurant can get very loud if there are many people so don't expect to come here for a calming atmosphere. The staff is great and helpful. There are no vegan options for food here except hranolky and salad, hopefully they can add some tofu or seitan things. Otherwise, a great place to go with your friends! 🙂👍

Food is local and deli. Service is ok; waiter did not smile much but fulfilled all our requests. Beers are quite bitter. I tasted a bit of chocolate in dark beer. Did not like they had imported beef.

We came to this place in the evening to have a good meal and drink good beer. I gave the second star for the beer. Everything else was a complete disappointment. The service is lazy and rude (the guy just turned around and went to other customers while we were trying to formulate our idea in English). The food is very strange and the prices are above average. For the quality of the food, it was overpriced. I would not recommend this place to my friends because it was unpleasant. Don't believe too many good reviews sometimes. We only liked beer

Great experience here. Lovely tasty food (big portions to fill you up for a long time) and excellent beer (I had the Stout dark ale but would have been happy with any of the choices on offer). Prices decent too given the quality. Excellent venue
