😠 This place has the potential to be a good pub/restaurant in Brno. But instead they choose to scam customers. When I went there, my table was charged more drinks than we actually took - by a whooping 30%. I used to see this behavior in Czechia around ten years ago, but nowadays it is not that common... People often mention good, beer, medieval, service, atmosphere,

This place has the potential to be a good pub/restaurant in Brno. But instead they choose to scam customers. When I went there, my table was charged more drinks than we actually took - by a whooping 30%. I used to see this behavior in Czechia around ten years ago, but nowadays it is not that common anymore - therefore I must handle the name of the place: "medieval - true to medieval practices to scam customers, especially if they are foreigners."

Korma beer is a true perfection dark or light. The place looks cool - like in a medieval village. I really like how it is dark inside and you can feel like a knight- if you’re into mmorpg you gonna love it :-)

Historical restaurant with a nice Medieval vibe near the Main Street in Brno old town. The roast duck is nice, and the portion is very large. The Czech dumplings are also worth trying.

The food was decent enough, and the portions were huge, but for the same price you can get much higher quality food for example in Nok Nok or Charlie’s square. But the main thing is that the service here was the worst I’ve ever experienced. The person serving us forgot our orders multiple times, we had to wait multiple times more than half an hour to even order something. And when we ordered hot raspberries, they were as cold as if they just took them from the freezer. Basically this place is a tourist trap plain and simple.

Lovely place for some mead and meat. The ambiance on the lower floor absolutely screams piles of meat and dark brews while finding shelter from the cold outside. It delivers on most of these fairly well. However, it was surprising how poorly stocked the place seemed to be. From all the brews they had on the menu they only had 2 of them properly supplied, most other requests were met with "we may just have one laying around". This was the case for the Weizener and most blonde beers and pilseners (as well as having ran out of Red Bull). The quality of the meat was alright but lacked overall seasoning. The ribs were the polar opposite of the chicken and most other meats we had assorted; magnificently tender and juicy. I found most other options on the dry side of the spectrum. A final point is the absolutely ridiculously bad service they provide. It's borderline rude and continuously making you feel like a burden because you want to order more drinks/food etc. (this is the treatment while speaking the native language, so that's worrisome for foreigners).

If you want a medieval restaurant go here. The best honey Beer (small is 0.5l and big is 1liter) i ever found. But watch out it's so easy and smooth to drink it that a lot of times you get a bit drunk "out of a sudden" :D Food are usually in big portions so the price is okay for it. I had dragon tail (pork tenderloin with sauce to choose), ribs, poro knee and i love the homeade liver pate and also roasted duck. During weekends there twnd to be also gire shows or belly dancers and other shows.

Pretty nice place to drink a beer with friends with nice decorations and viking thematic. Price average. The only thing after 21:00 there's no food.

My respect to staff, there was many people and they were like a flash, doing their best. Service 👍👍👍 Totally recommend this place! P.S. please add some music ambience at lower floor as well as ground floor 😀

In my opinion, this is the best place for tourists to visit. A typical Czech restaurant/pub with excellent local food and drinks. Good service, English-speaking staff.

The beer is really good, but I ordered pork tenderloin and the meat's quantity was a bit less than what I expected, so I was a bit hungry still at the end. At paytime the waitress mixed our order a bit as well. It was not a bad experience but not the best as well.

Except the Korma beer (beer with medovina) everything was absolutely delicious. If you want authentic Czech food, I can only recommend this place.

Nice atmosphere, good beer and some waiters speak English. However, next to the counter there is always a strange smell that you have to get used to and when in a group they usually charge for beers that we do not consume.

Probably the best restaurant we visited as part of our trip. We got a roasted duck for 2 people which was more than enough, as well as beer with mead. Food was hearty and delicious. Loved the atmosphere with candles and the service was extremely good. Can't recommend this place enough 👍

Their Korma beer is amazing: rich in taste and absolutely huge (and it will get you drunk, that's for sure). Also the food is quite good.

My colleague and I visited the place for a lunch. The design was appealing, but the waiting time was disappointing. We ordered goulash soup - but there was no goulash, just some sausages swimming in an oily substance. It was tasty, but doubtfully it contained goulash. After that we ordered the main dishes, and after an hour of waiting we were about to pay for the soup and leave. Only then the portions arrived. The portions were generous, and the beers were great. It felt like the meat was kind of not too fresh, and it was a bit over-spiced (another hint for not too fresh). Maybe this was part of the medieval atmosphere? Anyway, the overall experience was below expectations.

Fine menu, great selection of beers. In a central location, with a terrace in the summer

We went here twice and both times had a great experience. The waiters were all super friendly and the food was great. The first time we just wanted some drinks and fries. It took a while for the fries to arrive, but we were pleasently surprised that they were actually home made! The other time we came for dinner and the waitress had great recommendations without trying to get more money out of us than needed, which was another very pleasant surprise. We can clearly recommend this place!

The place has a medieval feel with dim lighting from candles on each table. The service was a little slow and insisted on a strict order of drinks first before placing food orders. The menu mentions the food will take 20-40 minutes and it's good to consider before eating here. The food was good most of the table got the ribs. I had the flank steak. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

Went there for an after-party after a (cancelled) concert and was pleasantly surprised how fantastic this place is. Lots more seating in the level below and the staff were very friendly and accommodating, even though we kind of unexpectedly stormed the place. The only downside could be the tiny toilet, but that's just a minor thing. Definitely recommend paying a visit and trying out the "Korma" drink of ale and mead :D 🍻

👍👍 I believe this is one of the best restaurants in Brno. It's cozy, has a huge space and lots of tables. staff is friendly, menu is wide, has a lot of choices. In the same space they have a kids area with games, staff is friendly and prices are very good for the quality of the food. They also have the...
