This restaurant use to be very good... however today not busy Saturday waited 18 minutes to make an order and none of staff even looking at our table. Food was good but had same better on different day.

This was a huge disappointment, we’ve had a very bad experience in this restaurant. We visited this place on 06.08.22 at approx. 4pm. Already the First contact was very unpleasant since the waitress was very rude and arrogant, said she can’t help us pick a local food and had a very rude tone overall, it felt like we were bothering her. Then she brought us the food, which was not the best but okay, but it was COLD. Since she brought us the appetizers at the same time as as the main course, the appetizers were too cold and inedible. After we told the waitress that it was cold she said “too bad, it cools of quickly”. The employees were very rude to us and the food was less than average, had a very bad experience do not recommend this place. Will not come again.

Beer and food (if food is available) are delicious but the service is going down. Last time (Friday evening) the kitchen was out of order, the other day they didn't bring any bread to ribs (I asked for that three times) and during a peak you need to wait too long for waiters

Updating my review this evening from * to ** It's a good place to meet people, it's central, the beer is okay. But, wow..the service is pretty unspectacular.. You want it to be nice, you would like the waiter/waitress to want you to be there, but it's sadly not the case. Try it for yourself, see what you think.

We had a nice evening. Next time book table first floor. More intimate part of the place.

Great apartments-with-breakfast in the centre of Brno: the functionalist one with balcony is spacious and beautifully designed, with comfy bed and amazing rainfall shower and excellent views. As it’s not a hotel, there’s no service of the rooms each day. The noise from the square on weekend eves can be heard faintly through the (modern double-glazed) windows but stops at 11pm. The breakfast buffet is good - nespresso, juice, fresh bread etc and some cooked items too. All in all a fab base for Brno!

We were just there as customers. The waitress was very rude as soon as she saw we are foreigners. She barely responded to our questions, looked away all the time, no smile. Nothing. When we asked for ice (she brought warm tap water), she answered rude "Any more special wishes?" We stood up and went across to u Mamlasa where we are being served superbly.

At first sight an attractive restaurant with a perfect location. But very poor service, we were always waiting for our drink order. Food beautiful at first sight, but in my case the ribs were cold. Prices match the location but not the quality of service or meal

Really rude waitor, never came to our table since we arrived, only gave menu to the table next to us even though we arrived earlier. When we were checking out as the only persons waiting, thought he was checking our table, and he talked with really high voice that he is busy dont we see that, he talked so much with rush tone and high voice so we wont be able to reply to any of his words, basically hes showing the attitude that shut up dont bother him. Unfortunately food was good but this waitor made everything badly, so me and friends will never come here again.

We stayed in one of their beautiful apartments and enjoyed it SO MUCH! Amazingly furnished and spacious rooms with design finess. Dog friendly ❤️

U Tomana was a fine place for food. Nothing too special but nothing was disappointing. The service was a bit slow, especially for a Tuesday night, but after we were served our food, things were a little better. There is both outdoor and indoor seating. It was not too expensive. There are probably better places that offer a similar menu, but U Tomana was not bad at all.

If you have any allergies, rather eat at home. The menu has allergens completely messed up, the staff does not know what the numbers even mean and are not willing to ask the cook. After ordering the steak they dont even ask you how you want the meat to be cooked, so it's always overcooked. Complete disappointment.

Good English menu for us non Czech travelers. Excellent goose liver pate and tasty ribs. Nice surroundings with pleasant atmosphere.

We had to wait for more than 45 minutes and got… pretty poor meals. Beef cheeks were way too salty, pork - too tough. If it was a canteen somewhere at the railway station - no complains. But for a restaurant in the city center with meal price around 280-300czk - not acceptable, imo. Better skip this.

Was so much better than I expected! With its location, and the money spent on it, I'd expected identikit beers but they were a step above with a good flavour and nice crisp bitterness; classic Czech leżak. Service was better when I spoke my limited Czech, but was the usual brusque efficient way. Definitely one to visit when in town.

Visited this pub/restaurant while on a business trip. We all had burgers. They where ok, but not great. The beer however was good. Big minus is that we had to pay for ketchup and mayo 90czk even og they arrived at the table after we had finished the food.

We were here with a company of 15 colleagues from 5 countries. The beers were simply amazing and the food was also very delicious. The waitress was very kind to us, so overall we had a great time here! Definitely recommended.

Great drinks and the food is fine. The food selection on the menu is fantastic but the quality leaves a bit to be desired. Some dishes were under seasoned and others were over cooked. The beer was always fresh and cold, though.

I came just for the beer so I can not do a full review. The place is beautiful and their beer is very pleasing and that was the most important for me that day.

First few minutes we felt like invisible. Anyway, the lunch was tasty and the dish was big enough. The waiter was friendly and we liked his friendly/funny conversation/remarks (CZ/SK).

A nice place in the city center. We were there for a business dinner. Menu is quite standard. Staff was attentive and speaks reasonable English. We had to wait a bit since the place was very busy in the evening. I recommend poppy cheesecake, it was really tasty
