A bit different but really great food. It was delicious and a lot for the price.if hungry and in area i can suggest that you visit the location. The personal was also really friendly and the english language was more than sufficient to order and get the answers for all our questions. Will happily visit again when i am in the area.

My favorite restaurant to eat in Brno! The meals are always amazing, and the whole atmosphere and the decoration of the place is almost magical. I strongly recommend to make a reservation, as it might very well happen that you will just not find a free table at the place.

Modern, calm restaurant. Tastefully decorated and off the main square so more quiet. Good service and light menu. We had the spinach soup (great), the rice bowl, and the daily dish (chicken). All tasty and good dish sizes, chicken portion size a bit small. Reasonable prices for all. Overall would recommend this place.

Amazing fresh food, delicious lemonades and a stylish interior. Staff was very hospitable and professional. A must-visit when in Brno.

Roast beef could be more red, and I prefer also hot roast beef rather than this cold one. However taste was good, potatoes delicious. Salad with goat cheese was good but also nothing extra special. The whole food experience was like if you cook it properly at home.

Lovely food with a seasonal menu, very friendly and helpful staff. I had the Fish and Chips and my partner had the goats cheese salad and I would recommend both. Fair price and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

We came during breakfast. I think the lunch menu might be better? I had a bagel with egg and bacon which tasted good. My partner's omelette was tasteless though the texture was good. The tea was weird, it came in a huge jar of hot water with a small bag of tea leaves. Because of that, the tea was tasteless. Coffee was okay. Service was good.

Very friendly staff, some great food, English menu available. Even gave our dog a bowl of water and a few small biscuits.

I have visited this place more times and there's always something delicious waiting for you. Seasonal menu has some special items, suitable even for vege or vegan people. Moravian wines are perfect. Service is superb. Make a reservation in advance.

Soul Bistro is a great place for a meet up with partner, colleagues or friends. Menu contains a wide selection of delicious meals so everyone can choose. I appreciate vegan/ vegetarian options as well. The staff is professional and fast and the vibe is just nice.

Very nice atmosphere. Ordered spaghetti from the lunch menu (only thing I understood in English). Food was alright!

Kool design and good vibe, french-style bistro. We were happy with the food also. The pate was excellent, fish and chips and salmon was also nice and good quality. Had a beer but as I saw it’s more about wine.

The staff was helpful trying to get something gluten free for my husband, the meals were delicious. I also enjoyed the atmosphere, though it got a bit too crowded at some point. Which logically testifies to the popularity of this place :)

The place is just ok, the seating is pretty uncomfortable on a bench or wooden chair without cushions, the food is average. We had the goat cheese salad (very tasty) but came at the same time with the main dish although we ordered first the appetizer. The fish and chips were too oily (I didn't finish half of it). Overall, just ok experience.

The place is great, this was not our 1st time here. However, the waitress was "suggesting'" me to tip 10% when i was paying our bill - well, that something you SHOULDN'T do ever... If your service is good enough, i will tip anyway - but you didn't even smiled or talked to us while serving, then why do you expect me to make a tip? That was a sad part of the evening for sure..

The portions were quite small, but at a slightly lower price point then other restaurants. The service seemed somewhat rushed. Sadly, the food was quite boring. Overall, we felt that the restaurant didn't live up to its name.

We went there for lunch today after all the good reviews we saw and having had coffee and cakes there before. They have a big menu with no clear indication what's available or not and as the staff informed us they didn't have the vegetarian daily menu anymore and also didn't have any beer on tap. The staff wasn't very friendly, came in quite abrupt before we could even check the catalogue and wasn't very helpful aside from informing us that what we wanted was not available. In addition, while we were speaking English there was no effort from the staff to help us in anything but Czech. Thankfully my partner is Czech so she translated for me. The food: We ended up having a fish & chips and a fried rice with egg. Firstly, the fish and chips came with very cold mushy peas and a mayo. It was served inside a folded piece of baking paper. You get a small amount of nicely tasting fish and a normal amount of very bad chips with it. They were oily, browned and not very nicely fried. The fried rice was a big portion without much inside and tasted overly sweet. For the price I'd just recommend going to one of the surrounding asian restaurants. We would never go back there for food but the coffee and cake can be alright.

Excelent breakfast !! I didnt have porridge this good in ages. And great coffee too! I pop to Soul for at least 1 quick lunch every time I am in town .. Now I must start coming for breakfasts too ;) French Tpast on the menu sounds delicious.

I liked the atmosphere in this bistro, but some simple things can make the service better. At my last visit, french fries which was served as a side was obviously burned and they did not mind to serve it. I had to ask to change it, and that surprised face of the waiter was adorable. The place was not super busy, but yet we had to wait for the bill quite a time and finally remind to another one.

The restaurant it's nice. The food it's good. But charge for the tap water, specifically on top of special drinks it's cheap. I never experienced this across many years travelling through Europe. Including Czech Republic.

Perfect! I keep coming back for their amazing fish and chips.

*Update - two years later, food wise its not as good but the service is still good - have amended to 4 stars. Had some great food here, it was good value and seriously tasty, would recommend the beef sandwich and shrimp fried rice. Nice atmosphere as well.

We had a very pleasant dinner here. Hummus and tzatziki were excellent, homemade lemonade as well. Very friendly service and great atmosphere. Highly recommended 👌
