The receptionist needs some basic social skills. There's problems in plumbing (either cold water only or very hot water). There were many issues with checking in. In general the staff is rude. The beds are terrible, this hotel is one of the worst, not recommended at all

We had a reservation here through the hotel.cz website. After arriving at 21:00, however, it turned out that they had no free rooms and left us alone. In the end, we had to pay more than twice as much for another hotel. I do not recommend.

The clerk at check-in was really suspicious of me, probably on account of me being from Romania. She was really angry of me for not writing my address down legible enough. I would recommend another place.

Hotel Amphone is relatively close to the center and is reasonably priced. However, the room lacked basic equipment, which should also be in this category of accommodation. It lacked a trash can, electric kettle, and television. There is no table lamp in it, only a central one. There is no housekeeping, toilet paper and such. The price/quality ratio is quite low and the accommodation will thus serve as an emergency overnight stay, e.g. for one night, not longer.

This place was a nightmare, the TV didn’t work, the fridge was so noisy I had to unplug it, bed was hard and too small, the staff were not rude but were unhelpful and not very friendly.I had big trouble with the key getting into the room. Avoid room 207. I will never stay there again.

This place is a nightmare. Dirty shower, there is nothing in the room, except of bed. Good location. Terrible atmosphere.

Broken toilet, lousy breakfast, sweetened juices and instant coffee.

+ great location, right next to a park and walking distance from the city centre + reasonable price - the WiFi is abysmal, slow and spotty, some devices had trouble connecting at all. if you rely on an internet connection, you should bring a backup - the mattress was a bit on the thin side and the bed had a noticeable depression from people sitting on it - the bathroom is tiny

Good enough to sleep over at. There is definitely a place for improvement, though; the rooms weren't exactly clean, sheets were never changed, and the water pressure in the shower was almost non-existent.

The hotel is nice but the rooms a basic. They do have a little sun on the roof which is a great place to chill. The staff is helpful and friendly.

Good location and the staff at reception was nice and polite but that's all the good things I can say. Room looked like someone just had robbed it. Some AC unit was constantly buzzing, beds didn't have sheets. Many hallways, stairs etc. were dirty and breakfast in hotel tasted weird. Only good if you need to sleep for the night.

It costs more then you get the service itself, expect if you pay for breakfast to eat all great Czech food. Restaurant is in basement, it is dark little bit and there is no music, sun light....nice tables....etc.

Lovely place, a bit dated, but very good service. The staff are lovely and helpful. They have good English. There's a Laos restaurant which had a very good selection of food.

Been there 3 times during last four years, ordinary place but extremly safe to store your bikes on their backyard behind closed doors and gates. Just 10 minutes walk to Brno center!

Good location, cheap price and free breakfast but room was dusty and furniture is old and with poor condition. Maybe i just got bad room as i stayed just one night
