To my six-year-old daughter, VIDA is the coolest. Despite being in one giant room, the exhibits are diverse and interactive. You can make a tornado, test electricity, make paper airplanes, and so much more. The highlight was the art area with every type of supply imaginable. You get to take home the art you create! There’s an outdoor area, a two-level slide, a cafe that sells ham and cheese sandwiches and popsicles.

The center is good for kids, lots of attractions and playgrounds are there for kids from 4 to 10 years. In the center is less about the deep science and more simple experiments understandable for everyone. It is not big one, we spent there about two hours to try everything and play.

Yeah, as a teenager I enjoyed it. If you like science, I recommend it, the kids will love it. It's very big and a lotta fun 😄

Tolles Science Center welche diverse physikalische Gesetze anschaulich erklärt.

We had a great time! Our kids did not want to leave. I recommend to take apart the workshop and scuba diver show which is for free (workshop almost for free). Reserve whole day, food was also great, typical czech/slovak food and not french fries.

The science center is good. Many interesting things to do, learn and discover. The laboratory was very interesting. The very big drawback was the dining area. It took forever to order food, when we got the food, it was just warm and absolutely tasteless. It took a lot of time from our fun time. Just one person serving on a weekend is not sufficient.

Lots of stations to try out and understand the facts. Well-maintained exhibits and clean. You can buy food at the second floor. But you can eat and drink your own things in the garden, too. No smoking is allowed in all of the places including the garden. Very good!!! Explanation is CZ, DE and EN. Super! Some science shows take place at 11 am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm and it is free. The instructors are very kind and showing the kids about the science in a great way. A 3D show costs 50czk per person and lasts around 45min. Lots of topics of science here: water, wave, light, sound, electric, mathematics and physics etc. It is an amazing place for the whole family. You can do a 3g flight simulator for free here.

Great place, we have been there mainly for the show about Newton's laws as it's part of my home schooled daughter's curriculum, but there was definitely much more to se. Btw the show was excellent 😊 I have enjoyed new Coffee exposition. Only the drawback was a restaurant downstairs, where we couldn't have lunch as they had booked two consecutive parties, but I think this place is not a part of Vida Centre.

Absolutely worth a visit! Science practically explained for children as well as for adults. Better plan about three hours for a visit so you can try out everything and enjoy all the scientific facts. For parents: there is also a little play park inside!

Very nice place to spend the whole days with kids. But even adults will have their fun! At the moment there's a coffee exposition which I would recommend for every coffee lover.

A disappointing amount of exhibits were broken or closed. This is a hands on science center for little kids, do not recommend for adults.

It's a fun place to experience science (or at least the fun part of it!) with kids and other family members. You can even enjoy it alone but the fun triples if you have at least someone with you since quite a few of the devices require two or more people to take a certain action at the same time. 95% of each section has clear English instructions but some are only in local language. They have large areas for smaller kids if they don't like to play with the scientific kits (ie small bicycle road with road lights etc) which could entertain them for couple of hours. Overall, it's meant to be more fun than advanced. I've been to CAS (California Academy of Science) and that place is huge and more advanced, but also less like a playground. Here at VIDA you get to jump while learn about cool scientific facts, cycle over a rope to see how balancing works, play with a gyroscope suitcase to see how hard it is to turn it, even jump in a rotating field and try to hit your friend with a ball and experiencing how hard it will be to aim straight. All in the name of science. I truely enjoyed my time here.

Cool science centre to hang out not only with kids, but also when you are an adult. You can see live ants, create your own tornado, see how floods work, human body... in general a lot of fun. There is also extra exhibition, now about coffee (until june 2022).

A great science museum for kids and adults! Not the largest one, but surely one of the most explanatory. All the physical and nature principals are demonstrated in a perfect simplicity and with a great interest. Btw, me and my wife have been there without our kids :)

Signs in English. Heaps of different experiences and hands on things to do compared to a lot of science museums. Helpful staff

It was a ravenous experience. I was there three years ago and there were many more grown-ups. Today, it's booming with children like a kids entertainment centrum. I, too, was there with my small children, nevertheless 😅. We were constantly in motion. They've got an area for smaller children, but it's poorly divided from areas for bigger humans so they are constantly running in, we constantly caused some grouping troubles at dangerous and badly protected attractions, we are sorry. The meal and drink is good here but only sausages in rolls, sandwiches and small water bottles. It's good to have your own. As there are so many attractions, they are sometimes not working. On the other hand, they are often changed for new ones.

Several exhibits malfunctioning or out of order, but despite that I've really enjoyed time being in here with my kids. Many exhibits are explaining or demonstrating how real stuff are working, it's thus educative in fun way. Also option to leave and return again during the day is very nice, so you can leave elsewhere e.g. for lunch and get back later on. Recommended 👍

It was a great experience! we were two adults with a baby and thoroughly enjoyed all the different attractions ourselves, so it is not just for kids:). if you just have some time to spare, we can recommend it and if you want to save some money, go during weekdays from 4pm to 6pm. The price of the adult ticket is reduced from 250 to 90czk (4,5eur), which is a great deal.

Entry fee 250 Kč for adult, 150 kid. It’s huge and full of interesting stations where you can play with science. Some of stations were out of order (around 5 of them at least)

The science center is based in a large hall that is packed with attractive exhibits. It took us around 3 hours to see/try most of them. It is interesting for both children and adults. As foreigners we did appreciate descriptions in English, although some exhibits had none. Start early to avoid queues.

Great place for kids all ages and for good price. We had hours of fun with small break in a coffee shop upstairs.
