These gardens are great. Buying a map might be a good idea or using Google maps to keep a track of where youโ€™ve been. The gardens are immense, eclectic and interesting. I canโ€™t even begin to imagine what they are like in the summer. The cafe is really good. We sat outside with a ploughmanโ€™s each. Loads of beautiful outdoor spaces to sit. We had a cheeky robin join us. Great plant shop and lots of secondhand tools.

Wanted to come here for so long, brought the mother in law along as a birthday treat.Took my two boys as well and they really enjoyed exploring the different gardens.we picked a rainy day, but that didn't put a damper on it. We had a little treat in the tea room, which went down well. The gardens are just incredible. Loved exploring this place. There was so much to see, every corner you turned. You can tell its a well loved and looked after garden. What a fantastic hidden gem.

Really impressed with all the gardens - everywhere! 32 Acres is a very big area, and I'm afraid we didn't cover it all.. Really well planned and executed, some wonderful plants, all seemingly in the right environment for them! Initially thought admittance price of ยฃ11-50 a bit steep, but not once you could see just how much care and love has been poured into this lovely space!

What an absolute gem of a place. I think it's the best garden I've ever visited. The variety of plants and the different areas were incredible. Also great gluten-free cake! A must if visiting North Norfolk.. we were there in early August. So many flowers in full bloom.

Chose to visit after hearing about the gardens from locals. If you are after a peaceful, relaxing wander this is the place. The garden is amazing with so much to explore. It's certainly worth just sitting down and taking in the sights and sounds. A great place to be mindful. Admission fee slightly expensive but would still recommend a visit if you have some spare time on your hands and you are nearby.

First time visiting , recommended by friend did not disappoint. Lovely set out gardens plenty to walk round and see. Places to sit and spend time reflecting. Interesting to round a corner and find another vista or walkway to another hidden gem. Wisterias were amazing on the pergolas and lots of gorgeous bearded iris Agave Montana has two flower spikes which are something to behold will be amazing when bloom. Loved the photographs of the progression from purchase and no garden to individual areas of garden. Small selection of plants to buy and lots of old gardening tools which are displayed , and can be purchased . Some I haven't seen for a while. Lovely cup of tea in the tea rooms and nice selection of meals and cakes. Spent a relaxing three hours here and never realised how busy it was until visited the tea rooms and saw the car park . Will definitely return later in the year to see a different range of flora

In love with this place. Only down the road from where I live, try to come every year, but only been in August time, because I love hydrangeas so much and mainly come to adore them. Obviously lots of other plants to see too. I wish they sold their tomatoes, they got so many and different ones too. Next time might bring snacks as I can easily spend all day here. Look out for opening times, shut on Monday and Tuesday. Also cafe doesn't have hot food, only cakes and filtered coffee /tea

A fabulous garden, developed over 50 years from a dilapidated house standing in open fields, into a stunningly designed set of buildings and gardens. At every turn there is a beautiful vista - every view from every angle has been thought through in the planning. There is, of course, a tea room and garden - even this is lovely! A real treat!

This was our second visit and even at this time of year, in the rain, it was still well worth a visit. The structure is still there to see and the potential for the year. The yea rooms are excellent, with very friendly staff and delicious cake. The only negative was the lack of a latte, but the tea and filter coffees were good.

A bit pricey, but actually good value for money! We walked around for at least 3 hours and still didn't cover everything. Worth taking a phone with GPS to work out where you have been! Huge versions of house/conservatory plants outside in the ground, very inspiring! Plant centre just had usual selection of things, would have bought small versions of things we saw, but they weren't available

A beautiful, 32 acre modern garden containing many garden rooms with herbaceous borders, gravel gardens, sub-tropical gardens, a box parterre, sunken rose garden, Mediterranean garden, Desert Wash and a large woodland garden โ€” there really is so much to explore. I have to say it is one of the best gardens I seen. You need at least half a day to enjoy walking around beautiful flowers. If you love gardening you have to go there it will inspire you.

Such beautifully maintained gardens! I went with my young family while visiting Great Yarmouth, definitely a must see if gardens interest you! So much to see with many different gardens. I would recommend buying a guide book. Most staff were lovely but I felt some of the cafe staff could have been more welcoming. Please note, another review says to bring a picnic as the cafe gets busy (Which it does!) There is a sign when you enter saying picnics are not allowed, so bare this in mind.

Lived in Norfolk all my life and never knew this existed. We went on Father's day and the gardens blew my mind so much to see and total love showed by the owners. The cafe was reasonably priced and great home cooked cakes are a must. We will be back soon.

Brilliant gardens to visit, a lot bigger than I expected. Lovely views throughout the Garden's. We enjoyed a refreshing drink and a lovely scone, jam and cream. We also come home with a few plants that you just don't see in the average garden center. I would highly recommend it if you like plants and gardens. Also there are loads of places to sit and rest while you absorb the lovely Garden's.

Best garden we've been to! Lots to see, liked that you can just keep wandering and finding another little gem, no set route, just walk, sit, enjoy, and repeat. So many different varieties of plants, shrubs, trees. The water feature is fantastic! Good choice in cafe, had lunch first, walked around the gardens and then tea and cake afterwards.

A must-see garden in Norfolk. Love going different times of the year as itโ€™s an ever changing garden; or series of garden spaces. Pictures of the house and garden when bought in 1973 - it was bleak- show what a transformation theyโ€™ve made. Caff is good too.

Absolutely stunning - so much to see! Iโ€™ve waited a long time to come here and was not disappointed. Fantastic planting and various โ€˜roomsโ€™ to delight and inspire. Well stocked nursery and good tea rooms.

Situated near the coastal village of Happisburgh is the East Ruston Vicarage gardens. It is a popular place to visit for the short amount of time in the year that it is open. It costs ยฃ13 an adult and ยฃ2 a child and is open between 12:00 and 17:30. There is so much to see there in terms of nature and flowers and the gentlemen who own the garden have curated a magical place. There might be a chance to see the cats or dogs. You might even see friendly robins who'll happily peck the crumbs from your plate while you're there. The team room has a lovely array of teas and cakes and hot meals are also available. It is worth a visit and very well priced.

I would have given the gardens another star but as they do not provide any maps, I did not like just randomly wandering around the grounds not knowing how the different gardens connected with each other. At times we seemed to be going through wooded areas on the outside or the outskirts of gardens and after doing a lot of walking, we would come to more formal gardens that were closer to the entrance and cafe than we thought. With a small map we could have decided on a route and we would have found other gardens easier. The gardens themselves are well worth a visit and you shouldn't miss the alpacas.

Fantastic gardens. Very original and full of interesting plants. I especially liked the slightly overgrown nature of the beds. It was surprisingly large and we didn't have time to go round it all. My only very small criticism is that the tea room seemed to be overwhelmed if too many people came in at once. A change of layout might be a good idea.

Beautiful, well maintained gardens. Lots to explore - recommend a map to keep track of the areas you've seen. Friendly staff in the admission booth, cafe and plant shop. Light lunch was fresh and the cakes were divine. Highly recommend a visit.
