In the beginning the surgery was good and certainly don't have a problem with my Dr. But since covid hit I am sick and tired of the phone calls and poor service. As a carer I was on the front line along with hospitals and supermarkets. Dr's surgeries should equally have been available and the telephone service needs to stop. More people are going to A&E wasting their time because surgery's lack appointments and care. I don't understand how dr's can be so busy when no one can get an appointment to see them. I have had three phone calls which I have missed and when redialing they are unable to fit me in, today I got on the emergency call list and no one called. Needless to say I am fed up and disgusted with the customer service. So many people are suffering.

I tried calling eight times today and each time the surgery hung up on me. I have a 10 week old baby and was worried about the cold/virus going around in my house. It makes me wonder about the practice when you cannot get through on the phone. In the end I called the health care assistance and they were about to provide support. The one time I saw a doctor she said I would take the advice over the health care assistance than her own when it comes to babies and breast feeding. I've gone to the surgery several times and it appears the nurses mostly see the patients. Thankfully the nurses are pleasant to talk to. It's been almost five years with the surgery and I would still say they need improvements. Every time I send an email I have to follow up for a response. Two of those times was a request for prescription and I informed the request had gone to the chemist serval days ago but they cannot seem to send a quick reply saying your request has been approved. I've requested medical note to travel and have been essential refused because I'm pregnant and they do as little as possible with pregnant people. Only when I need a vaccination would I say the surgery is great.

Before covid my local gp surgery were so good, but now everything is a telephone consultation no appointments available to actually see the gp. New reception staff are rude, abrupt and dismissive and advise you to go to a local pharmacy call 111 or attend other local health centres. As far as I'm concerned they are putting unnecessary pressure on other parts of the NHS so disgusted with the service that wesgate locals receive

There's not a bad word I can say about this place. I have NEVER had a bad experience. Staff are fantastic, I never had any issues with my regular medication despite it being controlled drugs. The online aspect is superb and luckily I never had to wait too long in a phone queue. I've always felt that as a patient my concerns were listened to and if I ever did happen to have a problem I could go to them and be listened to. This is a 5 star surgery in my view - I'm very sad to have to leave after my move. Keep up the fantastic work.

Anyone who gives this place a bad review can't be dealing with the same people as my family. They are wonderful. The physio is kind and knowledgeable, Dr Vishwanathan is the benchmark all GP should be measured by, and the receptionists are efficient and kind. They should get an award. They have looked after my family for over 30 years and I won't move out of their catchment.

Twice in two weeks items have been missed from my prescriptions. It left me with no tablets for my condition. I was assured at approx 10.30 the item would be at the pharmacy in 2 hours. Visited the pharmacy 5 hours later, still no tablets available. Not the first time this has happened

Called this morning reporting severe lower back pain and sciatica (I've had episodes of this for a year) and keep getting palmed off with painkillers. This morning I requested an MRI or to be referred once again to a specialist and was told I have to wait until the new year for an appointment with the GP to be able to refer me. Shocking but not surprised. Might have to try A&E or an Urgent Treatment Centre because I can barely walk.

Went for flu and covid jabs. Very quick and efficient. Very small wait, no longer than 10 minutes from start to finish
