I dealt with Dr. Patel for my eye exam and he was great with me. Very thorough exam My issue lies with the staff in the front of the store....     I’ve been coming here for over 5 years. Previously I worked with Jaime for all my purchasing and front end work. He was great! They have gotten all new staff. I dealt with Dr. Patel for my eye exam and he was great with me. Very thorough exam My issue lies with the staff in the front of the store. A customer was getting glasses ordered and she showed one of the doctors something on her phone to order contacts. The doctor professionally told her to not order them online as contact prescription can be different than glasses. As soon as the customer and her father left the store each and every person in the front (2 men, 2 women and even one of the doctors) started talking nasty about the 2 customers. One of the women started to imitate and make fun of the father. I can’t believe they would act so unprofessional. Will definitely be finding somewhere else to shop in the future.

    I wish I would have never gone to this place. Can you rate less than zero? Took almost three months to get two pairs of glasses and after two re-makes, they still don't seem right. I was told my computer pair would have a bump of magnification at the bottom for reading....not there. I spent too much money and these people seem incapable of getting anything correct. What a horrible experience. Stay away. Maybe this place is good for easy prescriptions and sunglasses but if you have a complicated prescription ......yikes....think twice before walking in the door. I have spent too much time to keep going back and forth for you to get it correct. The staff at the store did not seem to care at all that things were not going right with my order. After the first remake of the glasses I was told to come back to have my eyes rechecked. So who is messing up?....the doctor examining my eyes, the people making my glasses...so frustrating. I will never go to a "chain store" eye place again.

    I had an appointment today at 9:20 am came in at 9:30 am and the receptionist told me that I had to reschedule my appointment because I was past the 10 minute window. I drove 25 minutes to get here and that's the response I get. What was interesting was that no one was there. If that's called good customer service I don't recommend this place to anyone. And please take me off your reminder list for future visits. I won't be coming back.

    My daughter recently got contacts at this location and I was blown away by their customer service, patience and helpfulness. We have been in there many times with the contact classes and follow-ups and Dr. Patel has been outstanding. I would recommend him and the myeyedr. staff to anyone. My daughter was nervous and it took time and they were so incredibly patient and helpful.

    10/15/2022: Dr Greenfield is very thorough, takes his time with you, and explains everything to you with detail. I have been seeing him for years. The manger at My Eye Doctor, Andrew, is awesome! My husband and I were in this location this week (10/13/2022) and Andrew helped us out with every concern. Told us about our insurance; what was covered and not covered and even how to save money at our visit and after with our eye care. Nicest guy I’ve ever met with great knowledge of his job. Highly recommend visiting this location for anything eye related. Update 10/19/2022: received a call from Jose at MyEyeDr in Elmhurst on York Road. Voicemail left said, “your glasses are ready for pick up you can pick them up today by 5 or tomorrow by 6.” Great. Surprised to know they were ready so soon. I left work early to get there on time and get my glasses. Only to get there and find out only one of my two pairs were ready for pick up. And of course the ones I needed were the ones not ready. Why wasn’t this shared with me on the voicemail? It would have been very helpful to know that only part of my order was ready for pick up. I would have waited for another call for the full order. Very disappointed as I left work early to get my ‘glasses.’ Maybe someone could inform Jose that details should be shared in a voicemail to prevent errors/upsetting situations like this.

    Exceptional!! Made my first appointment and staff called prior to my visit to do the pre-exam paperwork. Rescheduled the appointment over the phone to ensure the insurance would cover the visit. Arrived with no waiting time, Doctor was extremely thorough, explained the results and diagnoses in great detail. Vastly different experience than I've had in the past. Staff assisted me happily with finding frames after having dilation, stayed past business hours to complete the order. Was told the new glasses would take 2-3 weeks for delivery and they were received in 7 business days. Ordered 2 pairs, both bifocals, one pair did not have the same range of clear vision as the other. Staff happily reordered a new pair, without any additional cost to me. I cannot be any happier with my new choice in eye care.

    Thanks to the team at MyEyeDr. in Elmhurst, IL. . Dr. Patel was awesome. He was patient, through, and kind. Everything a person needs in your eye Dr. Also thanks Val for all your help with my selections for eyewear and Holly who got the initial exam going. You are the greatest!! Anyone in search of excellent eye care check them out.

    I had my new lenses for my frames and prescription sunglasses delivered to that location. They broke my frames upon inputting my new lenses. The GM (Andrew) told me it was a result of the right lens being oversized .WHAT???!!!...🤔 NEEDLESS to say, I was upset. He also said he was searching for those new frames. He said he was unable to find them at that time and it was indefinite when he would find them. In the meantime I was without glasses.I then called the Roselle location where I initially ordered them and saw my optometrist. They were highly caring and professional. They did their due diligence and within 24 hours they located the frames. I proceeded to go there to have done what was necessary. They successfully executed inserting my new lenses into my new frames. The GM at Roselle told me the lenses were of equal size and absolutely no problem . Her name is Kelsie. Roselle location, had unprecedented work ethics and said that Elmhurst location was 100% responsible for the breakage and displayed incompetence. I concurred. DO NOT give your business to Elmhurst location. They are deceptive and certainly NOT honest nor forthcoming. PERIOD!!!!....You eyes and product are at risk.
