Hadn't been there in over a year, but this place needs to close. Not sure who's cooking this "food", but it's some of the worst Indian food I've ever had. We walked around the corner to get to our car and saw their dessert bucket behind the restaurant - see photo.

Really extensive list of menu options—several of which I tried that were very delicious! The prices were a bit high for the quantity of food you receive, so this definitely would not be my first option for an on-a-budget dinner. The service was also not great—wait staff was very passive, inattentive, and dull. If you’re taking food out, this isn’t a terrible option, but it wouldn’t be my first recommendation if you’re looking for a fun, inviting dining experience.

The owner is a drunk and there is a very old blonde woman who smells terrible as she waits the tables. She also reeked of alcohol and kept suggesting tofu from the neighboring restaurant. I have no clue how this place lasted for 25 years with the type of service they have. The food was cold, bland, undercooked, and tasted like it was frozen. When I complained about my meal, I was verbally attacked by the owner and the old woman who seems like maybe she is his girlfriend or something. They yelled and cussed at me directly in front of the only other person who unfortunately chose to dine there that night. There was no excuse for how terrible the food was or how they treated me. The owner was so drunk he only kept saying I was ugly and comparing me to the old woman serving tables? How this had anything to do with how awful my food is I have no clue. These people are rude, misogynistic, and can barely reheat their disgusting frozen entrees. Literally any other place in Oak Park is better.

Really good Indian food. Full of flavor, specially the lamb.. the way they cook the rice is delicious along with their entrees, with a variety of typical dishes 😋 The bread 🍞 is also amazing. Definitely recommend

Pretty standard Indian. Lamb Biryani spicier than from Mantra, both good. No sweet wine like White Zin or Muscato, Rose was fine. Outdoor tables but was too cool when we visited. Parking available throughout the Oak Park area was not a problem, pay thru the app. Would recommend.

This is the worst food, Indian or American that I have ever eaten! As expensive as it was : 3 items, samosas, naan & shrimp marsala & rice $30, after tasting the shrimp with watery sauce, the bread was super thick & rope-like and samosa shell was more like a thick doughy egg roll. The only edible dish was the rice which was as dry as uncooked rice. I threw all that nasty mess away! I eat Indian food regularly and there are so many west suburban Indian restaurants that are so much better 😔

Previously, I was a fan of this restaurant, but last night we ordered pick up and it just wasn't good! I ordered buttered chicken like a basic white girl, and although the sauce was yummy, the chicken was an issue. It looked as though they had thrown their chicken scraps into this dish. There were chewy and hard pieces of chicken, and it was pretty gross. Furthermore, they burned our naan to a crisp! I can appreciate a bit of char, but this was excessive. Overall, for $40, this wasn't worth it. We probably won't be eating here again. :(

I've been to this restaurant twice and I've had enough. The restaurant has a specific atmosphere. Employees are sitting at the bar and eating something. At the same time, they are watching something in their phones with the sound turned on at full power. Is this respect for visitors? I think not. The second time I went in and ordered a curry chicken, telling the waiter that I wanted the one they offered at lunch hours for $9. When they brought me the bill, it was for $23. When I asked why it was so expensive, they told me that they brought me a regular portion and it was bigger. The waiter didn't even ask what portion I was ordering and didn't understand what I meant when I pointed him in the direction where the advertising of dishes at lunch hours weighed. I must admit to you, I would never pay $23 for this dish. The chicken was dry and not tasty. They brought it to me in a cracked plate. I didn't even finish it. The portion of rice is very small. I don't recommend this place. There are a lot of good restaurants nearby where you can have a great time. I will never come back here again and I don't advise you.

This is my comfort food. Whenever I am having a bad day, I get Khyber Pass, and somehow things don't seem so bad after I eat . We usually get takeout because we live so close, and they are very easy to order with and the food is always ready in a reasonable amount of time. Their restaurant also has a great ambience and the service is good.

Finally!!! A DELICIOUS Indian restaurant that's in the area and we don't have to hike one hour to get to! The venue is so nice, cute and cozy. Lots of nice decor and nice wine options. Delicious Indian beer. Samosas are always hit or miss for me, this place is definitely a hit! The butter chicken is soft and flavorful. Chicken tikka masala is on point! The Naan was pure perfection. And the rice amazing! Everything here so far was well worth it. Totally recommend!

I love the food! It’s so flavorful from the “butter chicken “ to the garlic naan. And my favorite chicken vindaloo. 😋

Small cute place. Food is just meh but if you are in oak park and really want Indian it will do. Their food is a bit odd. The Dal Makhani came out yellow. I’ve had this dish across the world and it’s always been black/brown. They use several types of beans instead of the traditional two. In all fairness it says this ok their menu so this isn’t a complaint. It’s just an odd way to prepare it. They also only serve beer and wine which is also disappointing. You are better off driving to Devon for some better Indian.

This place has a nice ambiance. They greet you as soon as you come in which is a plus. I ordered chicken tikka masala(medium spice) with turmeric rice, keema samosas, mango Lassi, and naan . Everything was hot and tasted great. This was our first time trying this place and we plan on going back.

Inedible - your money is better spent elsewhere. Baingan bharta was burned, 95% onions and tomatoes. I ordered towards the end of the night and was served stale rice and a main dish that seemed like it was some odds and ends put together rather than what was actually ordered. If I have a bad experience, I try to just move on, but this place needs to be reviewed.

Don't go here! Go to another Indian restaurant! I went here by myself, I am never going back! I ordered the chicken tikka masala and the guy who took my order held the glass cup from the inside with his fingers, that is really disgusting and unprofessional! When I got my food, that's when I really started to think that something was not right because the food was really expensive and the rice they served me was not hot and not enough, as if they were trying to be selfish. Also, the chicken masala was not really hot when they served it to me! I don't know how they prepare the food in the kitchen.

Great food and even better service! The staff were so kind and allowed me to sit and read the menu before placing a to go order- even provided me water and took time to check on me as I waited. To go orders are thoughtfully packed to avoid spills and make it home fresh!

I ordered over the phone and the food was made quickly for pickup. I don't think this is an Indian restaurant, but more of a Pakistani restaurant. Ordered the vegetable Jalfrezi (watery not medium spicy), biriyani lamb (too salty), samosa (no seasoning for the potatoes), and puri (delicious). Don't order thinking it's an Indian restaurant or stick to tandoor dishes.

Our meal was incredible! This was our first and not our last. We ordered the chicken makhani, channa masala, dal, saag paneer, and garlic naan. Everything was fresh, very clean, and better than we expected. The restaurant threw in an extra soup which was also delicious.

OUTRAGED & NEVER GOING BACK! I attempted to have dinner here last night. I called to make a reservation, but was told there was no need as they had tables available. We arrived and luckily there was one table available - it's Friday in downtown Oak Park, understandable. A non-Black couple came in after us and joined in waiting to be seated. The owner approached us and I asked for a table for 2. He said "OK"- which made sense because there was an open table available!! He then asked the non-Black couple "Oh, you guys were here earlier, right?" He preceeded to seat THEM at the open table and approached my husband and I stating another group was wrapping soon and it would only be a moment! We're done with them and will NEVER patronize this establishment again!!

I love this place. It’s always fresh food and a great staff… I went for lunch one day and was hooked ! Definitely stop in and give them a try !

It’s okay. Food was underwhelming and overpriced. There are other places with either cheaper prices or higher quality plates. Wanted to like it since it is so close but will not be returning.

Clearly labeled vegan options. They have a bowl for dogs out front so if you're by the window you can watch dogs walk by! Fried things were crispy and hot, food was super delicious. Service was good.

Awesome food! We started with Samosa & Keena Samosa. For the main course we had Kheema Mutter, Chicken Tikka, & Tandori Sabzi w/the bread basket for 4.
