Went
there
with
friends!
We
were
serviced
quickly
and
our
server
was
generous.
the
atmosphere
is
not
heavily
lit
and
modern.
We
ordered
a
half
half
mala
and
tomato
broth
(I
personally
didn't
think
regular
mala
was
that
spicy).
Both
had
lots
of
flavour,
I
don't
know
if
the
pot
was
just
big,
or
if
it
was
just
half
full
when
we
first
got
it.
Loved
the
beef
tongue
($19)
and
Angus,
cut
beautifully
thin,
soft
and
well
marbled!
(both
go
well
with
a
combi
sauce
of
satay,
soy
sauce,
and
scallions
😊)
Noodles
looked
a
bit
raggedy
but
cooked
well;
each
enough
for
a
1.5
person
serving.
Vegetables
came
in
small
portions,
great
to
get
potato,
bok
choy,
or
bean
sprouts
to
soak
up
the
soup
as
they
cook.
Drinks
I'd
personally
recommend
is
the
avocado
smoothie!
I
grew
up
drinking
it
as
a
child
and
the
taste
was
very
nostalgic.
It's
blended
to
the
point
of
being
light
airy,
not
too
heavy
on
the
stomach
as
you
dine.
Dessert
was
the
coconut
and
mango
sorbet,
you
can't
really
go
wrong
with
these
two.
Cold,
sweet,
and
the
coconut
had
flesh
bits
in
it.
Better
for
warmer
temp
weather,
I
still
enjoyed
it
nevertheless.
One
small
complain
is
that
there
was
to
be
a
dead
gnat
on
the
bok
choy,
unsure
if
it's
just
because
it
was
cleaned
too
quickly
or
something
else.
I
also
prefer
using
small
spiders
instead
of
a
spaghetti
spoon,
longer
chopsticks
to
scoop
noodles.
