I really wanted to love this place, but the truth is that it’s really a 5/10 at best, and that’s being generous. The excellent reviews are a little misleading. Was it a horrible pizza? No. Just nothing close to “the best.” The crust is the best part, but the pizza is very greasy (and I usually like a little bit of grease). My biggest complaint would definitely be the canned mushrooms they use. C’mon now-have some respect! Ha. Oh well, I guess the cheap pricing is the only redeeming quality. However, I would rather pay more for a higher quality pizza. If you go, it’s cash only with an ATM literally in the center of the restaurant. So don’t expect any ambiance (I wasn’t).

Delicious bar pizza in the tradition of the South Shore. Each of their pizzas is excellent. The linguisa pizza is the most popular, but you can't go wrong with any of these pies. They are slower than conventional pizza joints, but this is to be anticipated with such consistently wonderful pizza. They're cash-only and frequently busy, although you can usually grab a seat very quickly. Both drinks and meals are well priced, although I believe they are too inexpensive. Can't go wrong here in Lynwood

Top notch bar pizza and a really friendly bartender who makes a good drink while you wait. The place OOZES nostalgia as I don't think the atmosphere had changed much since inception.. and that is not a bad thing AT ALL. The world needs more places like this.

Our first time trying the famous Lynwoods and won’t be the last. Order in advance and give yourself plenty of time because we waited an hour. Worth the wait.

Delicious south shore styled bar pizza. All of their pizzas are amazing. The linguisa pizza is a fan favorite but you can’t go wrong with any pizzas from here. They’re not as fast as your standard pizza spots but that’s expected with such consistent delicious pizza. They’re cash only usually busy but you can typically find yourself a seat fairly quick. They’re very fairly priced (too cheap in my opinion) and that goes for drinks and food. Can’t go wrong here at Lynwood

Who would’ve thought beans on a pizza would work - the bean special is a must try, regardless of if it’s morally correct. It’s not as offensive as you’d expect, actually it’s delicious. Service inside was lovely, everyone was kind and attentive as we waited for our pizzas.

I think it’s one of the best pizzas I’ve tasted. Sure, there are other pizza places around and each of us has favorites but I gotta say this is one of the best. You got to try it. It’s an institution on the south shore.

Recently had the pleasure of dining at Lynwood Cafe and I was thoroughly impressed with the food and atmosphere. The standout SSB pies are outstanding. I particularly loved the Onion - Laced and Extra Crispy... The baked bean special was also a highlight, with bold flavors and perfectly cooked ingredients. This was my first visit to Lynwood Cafe, but I will definitely be returning whenever I'm in the Randolph area. I highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for delicious and satisfying pizza in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Great waitstaff as well 🍕

Ordered 8 pizzas for pick up. I had the special, which was absolutely delicious!

The food was good, although the menu is limited. They puffer 20 different toppings of pizza and that's it. No salad, appetizers, etc. We placed our order and it took a long time to come out. It was not terribly busy. This place is very small and dated. They take cash only, not handicap accessible, limited parking. I imagine most of their business is takeout, so I'd recommend that.

A friend bought me we had a good time, they don't take cards so you have to bring cash old school like, but I've been to plenty places like that and the atmosphere is always better.

Very good pizza for the price. Yes, it's slightly more expensive than it was 10 years ago but for $10 per pizza it's a great value for the quality.

CASH ONLY But they do have an ATM on sight! Ordered a pizza. It’s bar style pizza, about 10”. Pizza was good and fresh. Expect about 20min for your pizza as everything is made from scratch, apparently they don’t even have a freezer so you know it’s fresh! Recommend it if your close by.

Nov 2023: Came in on a Thursday night around 6pm. Place was packed, only two tables were open. Cash only. Good prices for beers and pizza. Got the linguica and veggie pizzas. In my opinion pizza is a bit too hyped up and there are better options on the South Shore. However, I know this is of much debate for South Shore pizza lovers.

Husband and I are in Massachusetts for Halloween weekend from Arizona and looked up best pizza in Randolph. This is the first place that came up and IT DID NOT disappoint. The best pizza we’ve ever had. We got three. One Pepperoni, one sausage, and one linguiça. They are smaller pizzas but that’s the only small thing about this place. Our server Nancy was fantastic and the pizza was incredible. Hoping to stop by before we leave for Arizona. Thank you!

Great bar pizza, waitress was excellent. Pizza was fast. Which is a good thing. Other bar pizza places are wicked slow. Place looks the same as the day it opened. Petfect real retro look. Great priced. I even had a bottle of Rolling rock beer. Lol. Old school. I will go back

One of the best pizzas served in a bar. Be sure to call in your weekend pickup order in advance. Additionally, they carry Yuengling, making Lynwood my favorite establishment.

Not sure wh as the HYPE is about this place other than being around a long long time. Pizza's are just average IMHO. Place was not busy. Took our beer order quickly then after a while 10 minutes our waitress took our pizza order. 12 once beers came around to check often if we wanted another beer. A little pushy with the beers and slow to take our pizza order and when once ordered long time 20 minutes for 2 pizzas to come out. Pizzas were good had better. Service is slow for being not so busy but friendly Service pushy with the beer orders.

My parents have been going here since they were kids and I've been going here since I was a kid and the pizza has been the same if not better. The staff is awesome and polite I have nothing but the best to say about Lynnwood. The wait was a hour and a half and my pies were ready. Probably the best pizza in the world

Had a first date with someone here. Excellent atmosphere. Clean, friendly. And not to mention... The pizza... Simple yet absolutely satisfying and delicious. Cooked to perfection based on request (soft, regular, crispy, well done, extra crispy). Highly recommend. Great place, Thank you to our server Gail tonight.

This pizza was superb. The flavor. I usually like thicker pizza, but this was just right. I wish they made bigger pizza, it comes in a personal size. Highly recommended. Very friendly service, for take out.
