Went with something other than sushi tonight, had the salmon and it was one of the best salmon dishes I’ve ever had. Sat at the bar, bartender was really busy but did an outstanding job. My wife had the hibachi steak and it was equally as good. Highly recommend. The salmon picture was after I took a bite

We can’t ever get enough of this place. You can’t go wrong starting off with the walnut shrimp and gyoza dumplings. Some of our favorite sushi/maki are the Red Sox roll, Sexy roll, Celtics roll, Shrimp tempura roll, and the Sturbridge roll. We’ve been dozens of times and we’ve never had service that wasn’t stellar. Everyone is super friendly and the atmosphere is great.

Amazingly fresh, delicious, and creative sushi: some of the best I've had! It was hopping already at barely 5pm (and all tables were reserved) but we snagged space at the bar for our family. The server and sushi chef were patient with our kids' many stories and questions, and after overhearing their exclamations of wonder at the wooden boats going out with giant sushi orders, infinitely delighted them by giving us our very modest order on a boat, too. Everything was delicious, especially the crab rangoons (which came with a spicy sweet fruity dipping sauce) and the "Kaizen Roll" (shrimp tempura, several types of fruit, lobster on top). Fantastic find: will definitely go back when we're in the area!

Best sushi around!!! The quality and consistency are outstanding. Google asked me to update my review so here I am! STILL outstanding, best sushi around, and has been consistently the best for years! Went for lunch today and the staff is so welcoming and kind. Talked to a nice young man who was making our sushi who didn't mind explaining the process or that we watched and asked 100 questions. Hands down! The BEST around. There is no match.

My daughter and I had dinner at this wonderful restaurant in the small beautiful town of Sturbridge. Since the minute we walked in, to the instant that we left, we were treated in a courteus manner. Food was excelent, the Pear Martini was strong but extremely good. It has become one of my favorites in Sturbridge. Our only small complaint is that it took for ever for dessert to come to our table but I have to say that restaurant was very busy.

Visited this place first time and it was great experience! Food was delicious, and service was outstanding! Place is very nice for family and friends. Also this place will be good for special occasions. People are nice and friendly. Food was fresh and delicious. Prices are higher than other sushi restaurants.

Visited Kaizen for the first time last week and was blown away by the service! Atmosphere was wonderful, the menu had so many great options, and the servers were very attentive and went above and beyond. Not to mention, the presentation for all of the dishes was very aesthetic. Very impressed and excited to come back!

We ordered a spicy tuna roll, dragon roll, seaweed salad, gyoza, and walnut shrimp. For dessert we had coconut friend ice cream. Everything we ordered was delicious. It was busy and we still got quick service. I love the food and atmosphere. Also the spicy guava martini is delicious.

So…..NOT a sushi eater here, but went with my sister for a celebratory dinner and ending our visit together. Working in Alaska and Florida in the fishing industry I am highly critical of ANY seafood I don’t catch and prepare myself. Nonetheless I went with an open mind to try something new. I loved that it was an older home, so we walked in and right away the character of the place was pleasant. It was PACKED on a Thursday at 7:30 and there were no tables left. Fortunately we had reservations- which I HIGHLY recommend. We decided to order several dishes and share since I wasn’t sure what I would actually like. We ordered the Spicy Scallop, Love Roll, Bulgogi and Dragon. They ranged from scallops, Lobster, Escolar, Eel, Korean Beef and Shrimp all with various other items added in. They were all DELICIOUS 😋 like BEYOND DELICIOUS. I also ordered the hibachi fillet and it was perfectly cooked. The seasoned sauce on the side with some of the best Yum Yum sauce I’ve ever had. I’m not exactly sure what it was but that’s the closest comparison. Sadly I live many states away, so I won’t be going back soon, but my sister will certainly enjoy having it just down the street from her If your ever in Sturbridge, MA, this is definitely a good place to stop for dinner. Our waitress Sharon/Shannon was amazing. So genuine and very personable. We had a lovely evening and I will definitely be trying sushi again in my near future.

Excellent Sushi, seaweed salad and Fried rice. The maki selection is vast, and the fish was very fresh. The fried rice actually tastes and looks healthy- not over sauced. Very glad I stopped here on my way home from a business trip.

Excellent for people with celiac disease! Great hot tea, gf mai Thai (when requested), sushi options, and service. Be sure to make a reservation days in advance!

It is one of the best places in town. We've been going there for years and I don't eat fish. There are vegetarian options available. It gets very busy, so after 6, it's a good idea to make a reservation. Also, if you like a good martini, this is the place to go.

I can't say enough amazing things about this place! Sushi was absolutely delicious! Sitting at the sushi bar watching them prepare the plates and boats were really great! The gentlemen that worked it, preparing it, were so kind and fun to talk to. Atmosphere was really nice too. Service was amazing! Made sure that we were taken care of and our drinks were delicious and brought to us very quickly despite the restaurant being packed with the Brimfield Flea Market people.

We loved everything about Kaizen. The sushi first and foremost was amazing and combinations we had never had before. The drinks delish! The staff were wonderful and we loved the atmosphere.

Excellent service from our bartender. She was busy but on point and we never went without anything. The sushi is absolutely amazing and fresh. I cannot say enough things about this place. And it was a Monday night and packed. Will be back when visiting Sturbridge again.

We ordered takeout. It was pretty good and a decent price, but the teriyaki chicken was dry and could’ve used a lot more sauce. Otherwise, the veggies and rice were delicious. Staff was kind and service was quick despite how busy they were on a saturday night!

I have been going here for years. I don't know why I never reviewed it; it's still my favorite sushi spot I usually get a tuna hand roll. it's like a sushi ice cream cone and if your new to sushi they have rolls like the smoked salmon roll that has no raw fish

Just INSANELY good for its price. Weekday hours were a bit shocking as far as closing, but aside from that it's hard to find a bad thing about the place.
