During
my
recent
visit
to
1855
Saloon
and
Grill,
my
family
and
I
had
the
pleasure
of
experiencing
a
satisfying
dining
experience.
To
kick
off
our
meal,
we
indulged
in
the
spinach
and
artichoke
dip,
which
proved
to
be
a
delightful
appetizer.
The
flavors
were
well-balanced,
and
the
creamy
dip
paired
perfectly
with
the
accompanying
tortilla
chips.
Moving
on
to
the
main
course,
our
table
ordered
a
variety
of
dishes.
The
Saloon
burger,
Bacon
blue
burger,
turkey
avocado
BLT,
and
shrimp
scampi
linguini
all
made
their
way
to
our
table.
Overall,
we
found
the
food
to
be
fairly
decent,
and
it
successfully
appeased
our
hunger.
The
burgers
were
flavorful,
with
the
bacon
blue
burger
standing
out
for
its
delicious
combination
of
savory
bacon
and
tangy
blue
cheese.
The
turkey
avocado
BLT
provided
a
refreshing
twist
on
a
classic
sandwich,
while
the
shrimp
scampi
linguini
satisfied
our
cravings
for
seafood
and
pasta.
It
was
evident
that
the
kitchen
put
effort
into
preparing
the
dishes,
and
we
appreciated
the
attention
to
taste
and
presentation.
However,
one
aspect
that
detracted
from
our
dining
experience
was
the
slow
service.
The
delays
in
receiving
our
orders
and
the
overall
pace
of
the
meal
somewhat
dampened
our
enjoyment.
We
understand
that
restaurants
can
get
busy,
but
efficient
service
is
crucial
to
ensure
a
smooth
and
enjoyable
dining
experience.
Despite
this
setback,
the
quality
of
the
food
helped
compensate
for
the
slower
service.
Considering
the
overall
experience,
I
would
recommend
1855
Saloon
and
Grill
to
those
passing
through
the
Cottage
Grove
area.
The
decent
food
and
flavorsome
dishes
make
it
worth
a
visit,
especially
if
you're
looking
for
a
satisfying
meal.
However,
it
is
important
to
note
the
slower
service,
which
can
impact
the
overall
dining
experience.
Taking
everything
into
account,
I
would
rate
1855
Saloon
and
Grill
a
solid
4
out
of
5.
