One of the best breakfast restaurants i have ever had, i visited liverpool for 3 nights 2 times i have been in this restaurant😍🤤 I tried the french toast, baked eggs and pancakes lotus you must try all of them. The sizes are too big good for sharing.

Recently visited Hardware after hearing good things and was really impressed. I had assumed from its small shop front that it would be quite a snug place, but it's light and airy with loads of seating available. I had the Hardy's Toolbox (Full English) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely produce and everything cooked well which in a city with so many breakfast spots is harder than you'd think to come by. Service was quick and the waiter was very pleasant. Delightful ambience and would recommend visiting.

Went today for brunch. Place looks amazing and has very nice and clean vibes and there is loads of natural light inside so it felt refreshing. Very nice selection of food items and homemade fresh juices. We ordered Schnitz sarnie and Baked eggs and Biscoff pancakes as dessert. The savoury food was unreal! I could do with little bit more salt on the chicken but that was an easy fix. The baked eggs were spot on! Pancakes were a bit disappointing for us to be honest as they looked amazing but there was not much flavour going and it was all a bit dry as not enough sauce. The presentation is amazing tho! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone who's after great brunch and coffee.

Spent a lovely afternoon with my sis at this amazing cafe! The staff was so friendly, and we ordered French toast and a latte, and my sis got hot chocolate - it was all great! Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area!

This place is a hidden gem in Liverpool! Hardware’s mix of rustic and modern made for a great ambiance. My partner and I both got hot drinks which were absolutely delicious. We also both got the Eggs Benny, which were both delicious. Definitely give this one a try if you are near Liverpool Central!

Usually stop off at 7 am for my coffee on the way to work but sat in and ate today!! Incredible food. Such an exciting menu with so much to choose from. Portions are great. Absolutely love to see these types of independents popping up in our city. Will definitely be spending more time here rather than the tax evading chains. Well done Hardware!

Waited 1 hour for mediocre tasting food. Though they were nice enough to offer free drinks for the wait. Maybe the sweet things are nicer than the savory. Nice that they’ve got vegan options too

This is my second time eating here and will be back again. The atmosphere is cosy, clean and staff are friendly and professional. Besides being told I have go try the place out, I've wanted to for a while. They don't dissapoint.

Lovely little place with great atmosphere. We had to wait about 25 mins to get a table, which we didn't mind. But then we waited another 40 minutes for our food and tsbles of 6 who came in long after we did got their food before us which was a downer. Staff is lovely and friendly, prices are reasonable. Food was nice, decent portions but could be a bit more flavourful. All in all we had a nice time and would come back.

Loved it so much we came back for dessert! Fab service, chilled vibes but still manages to be dynamic. Coffee great and food very tasty!

Really lovely indoor decor. You can either order from the desk via QR code or at the bar. Service was great. The bacon was not seasoned, I found them bit greasy (purely personal preference.) The sourdough to me tasted a little under fermented and the bread itself tasted very “yeasty” (dunno if that’s just an one-off issue). On the other hand, you can get one free refill for their filters. Service overall has been great, staff are very friendly and attentive. Would definitely visit again to try other things they offer on the menu.

A nice breakfast selection, lovely staff members, easy ordering system, tasty coffee and food. We decided to get the Harry’s Toolbox breakfast and the baked eggs, I didn’t really care for the baked eggs but that’s my own palate. I’m sure it’s popular otherwise it wouldn’t be on the menu.

Very friendly staff, reasonably priced and a nice menu selection. I have visited this cafe for many times, The best thing I have ever tried is filter coffee and French toast. 🤤🤤

We went to hardware coffee and kitchen on Friday morning - there were hardly any customers (maybe two tables of 1 person) yet we were seated in between two tables occupied whilst there were lots of other empty tables. It was probably a standard procedure but it would be nicer to be asked if we wanted to seat at other empty tables. Nutella cruffin was very nice. Coffee was not my favourite and quite watery but I appreciate there’s an element of personal preference with coffee. Hash browns were interesting but very very salty. We could hardly finish one. To the contrary, there weren’t a lot of seasoning in the shakshouka even with the chorizos added, and hardly any spices/spicy tastes. There were potatoes and other vegetables which are not normally part of shakshouka which I thought was not necessary (especially potatoes) when you have a toast on the side. Pancakes were very big and is a good size for two to share.

Walked in on early Saturday morning. Great place for breakfast despite the long wait for hot food. Latte is rich and naturally sweet. Cortado is strong and fruity. The food takes quite a bit time… It took more than 40 minutes.. we have long finished our drinks before the breakfast arrives. Luckily the dishes aren’t disappointing. Hardy’s toolbox is decent. Hash is crispy outside and indulgently sticky inside. Sausage and baken are tasty. Baked egg comes with pieces of eggplants, zucchini, and peppers and extra diced chorizo, and A LOT OF potatoes (maybe too much 😅). The tomato sauce tastes just right. The lemon garlic yoghurt is very good and goes well with the sauce. Filling and satisfying. Thanks for keeping the space safe :)

Brilliant food, service and prices. Visited for brunch on a recent trip to Liverpool. The atmosphere and decor inside was great. I had the baked eggs which was lovely. My coffee was great too. My parents French toast was huge and tasted great. The staff were lovely. I would 100% visit again.

This is my fifth visit, each time I fall in love more :) Amazing food, service and prices. The atmosphere and decor is great and the staff always friendly and welcoming. French toast was fluffy and light - some of the best French toast I’ve ever had. Baked egg was delicious as well. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great coffee, amazing breakfast and a cozy atmosphere.

"I recently visited this coffee shop in Liverpool and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The pancakes were delicious and the coffee was top-notch. The environment was comfortable, clean, and tidy, which only added to the overall experience. I especially appreciated that the coffee shop is pet-friendly, as I plan to bring my dog along next time. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great coffee and a cozy atmosphere."

One of my new favourite brunch places in Liverpool! Really reasonable prices, huge portions and a lovely atmosphere. Our server was great too. I’ve been here twice now and can’t wait to come back :)

Service was really quick: staff were amazing to talk to. Food came out pretty quickly and looked so good and yummy. I had the Fresh Toast which looks really big but was light and fluffy. Will be coming back again for sure

This is the best coffee I've had in north England so far. Such a nice and welcoming place, the staff is fantastic and there's a lovely variety of delicious vegan options. Everything looked so good but I ended up having a biscoff cruffin and it was great. Really great place to sit in, highly recommend!

The restaurant itself is gorgeous and the food is very ‘instagrammable’ but is it worth the 45+ minute wait on food that builds up every weekend? I’d say it isn’t. The flavours aren’t all that exciting and, while the portions are large, the food doesn’t stand out as being incredible. The staff feel a little rushed and frantic which is a shame. Maybe it’ll improve over time as the hype of being a new restaurant dies down!

Amazing atmosphere and decorations, I love it!!! The staffs are very helpful and friendly! The food could be more flavourful in my opinion but still good enough for a weekend breakfast!

Was up in Liverpool for Eurovision and found this place on our first day there. I came here to get some work done and was really impressed by the delicious food and great coffee. The lemon meringue french toast was absolutely insane, so delicious. The staff are really friendly and very accommodating. The portion sizes are huge as well!

Been here a couple time, the service and food is amazing! Dog friendly and its great value for money with the great portion sizes.

Beautiful café decorated in tribute to the former hardware store. We loved so much about being here, however our experience was not good. We waited 45 mins to be allowed to order and then we were told the kitchen was overwhelmed and could not handle any more requests. Unsure how this was possible as it was not very busy. Staff were lovely but they didn't have solutions and just kept telling everyone to wait. Half of our table received food and the other half were unable to. Would not recommend until they have a better grasp on service

This place is actual heaven. The most incredible food that is absolutely mouthwatering and such good portion sizes (we we’re absolutely defeated)! The staff are lovely and very friendly and the vibes are great, love all the little nods to hardware/diy stuff.

Came here for lunch today and the food was absolutely amazing, I got the Hardy Toolbox and everything was cooked amazingly. My friend asked for a biscoff chuffin but we were told after we finished our lunch that they were sold out, only to see it sitting there at the counter when we were walking out the cafe. Aside from that I cannot really complain. The food and service was quick and everything was delicious, the cafe is absolutely beautiful to sit in, perfect for if you want to relax with friends and family. Would highly recommend.
