Staff are friendly enough BUT it really has been taken over by Just Eat who seem to take priority over customers dining in the restaurant or using the takeaway. The amount of tables being taken up by Just Eat was mad and at such a busy time, really Just Eat need a bit on their own and not actually being in the restaurant and to see the dirty Just Eat bags dumped on the tables where people are going to be eating is terrible, granted that there is a person clearing and cleaning tables but they didn't approach where the Just Eat bags were / had been.... Did somebody say Just Eat? I don't think so. Update 28th July 2022. All change - maybe not for the better? So, first visit today after the refit, so it appears that they have added more self service kiosks and now the pick up point for meals is now on the right, more or less when you get in the restaurant, but people are ordering at the kiosks directly to the left of the pick up point so basically you can't move with people ordering, people waiting and people trying to get through to the toilets at the back of the restaurant. I think when I went in there were about 10 people waiting, it did take a while to get served and when I picked it up it was wrong but I couldn't be bothered taking it back (I was takeaway). Yes it was busy, it was about 1.15 PM & the kids were off and they have only been open a week so you can expect some teething trouble. Gone are the nice cushioned seats to be replaced by hard chairs and seats, maybe they don't want you to stay too long? We have seen people nursing a cup of coffee for over an hour so maybe this is Maccy D's way of sorting the problem. I've added a new photo of the new pick up point. Also you CAN still order at the counter it's on the right, so they are not forcing you to use a Kiosk, also if you have got the app you can still earn points even when paying at a till, there is a QR code on the app. Good luck, but are you still "Lovin' It?" 🤔

All changed in here.. very clean. Staff are lovely. Nice young girl served us food. Called reynah. Fast service.. Good portions.

Food was good and service was fine. We Did have to take one of the burgers back as it wasn't what we ordered but to be fair it was dealt with quickly. The only other fault was we had to clean up someone's mess on the table but that says more about the people that were sitting there before us than the restaurant. All in all an enjoyable experience.

Order took a while, then came with cold tea. Chap with beard and strange gauze mask told me they must have given me a spare rather than a fresh one (why?) and then I was given two further replacement cups, both so cool that I could stick my finger in. Just not hot —- and the service wasn’t any better. Refunded in full, went elsewhere. Fast, fresh food this was NOT.

The self service machines had no paper in for your order number. When asking at the till the rude employee said not my problem tell someone else. Once actually finding out the order number the service was that slow it became crowded inside as the staff are more bothered about getting the justeat deliveroo ubaeats orders sorted first. The delivery side needs to be moved to a location with no public access. Once getting the food one of the staff members male dark hair barged past instead of asking to get past us as we had a pram with a baby inside. So I told him he is rude and needs to mind his manners to which he told me to leave. Your staff in this McDonald's are beyond rude and immature. It really is a drunken sess pit and a terrible experience if you are out shopping.

WORST TOILETS IVE EVER BEEN TO. Ive never seen a mens toilet be wide open next to the urinals, No cubicle just a small piece of wood as a divider, but basically if you need to take a *hit every one is watching you. Unbelievable lack of privacy/respect for customers.

It's a pretty basic McDonald's like all the rest. No massive queues of delivery drivers for a chaybut still wait ages for your order even though it was just 2 coffees.

Why can this branch of McDonalds not cook fries adequately? Every time I’ve ordered, the fries are undercooked, soggy and inedible. How difficult can it be to cook chips? Especially since it makes up half of the meal! So annoying having to throw them away every time.

I ordered a large big mac meal with fries and a sprite, the big mac was drenched in oil and grease and the fries were not salted at all tasted like a roast potato with a little bit more moisture in it. And the sprite wasn't even fizzy. Are you having a laugh? Pulling my leg? Uncarbonated soda. Really took the soft drink to heart. Deadest meal ever, what a way to finish a 12 hour trucking shift. The missus can even cook better. Pisstake.

Service is always extremely slow, I was the only person who had ordered and the drive thru was dead, yet my order took over 15 minutes to complete, they also hadn't changed the syrups in the drinks machine and gave me straight soda water instead of Fanta. If you are in a rush avoid this McDonald's

Used to be a fantastic restaurant but it has gone downhill since the refurbishment. Took nearly 20 mins to get a big mac and a happy meal and it was absolute bedlam with so many people standing around. There also seemed to be more focus on getting the orders out for the delivery guys rather than us stood around waiting for our food. It was so much quicker when they used to take orders at the till.

Evey time go there work 11pm all ways cold chips not even burgers don't look nice. Bad serice staff don't 😃 improve ingredients serice matters in food

This is McDonald's food. There's no novelty. The thing is, here you will have great staff. At least for the early morning one. Great parking, clean toilets and free WiFi. Pleasure experience, with a sunrise.

I feel sorry for the staff at this restaurant as they are constantly having to defuse frustrated customers because the recent refurb was simply not well thought out. Apparently the Just-Eat drivers take priority, which is obviously because they provide a regular income, but you don't sacrifice the satisfaction of the walk-in customers (many whome are loyal regulars) and rely on your 'very efficient' table staff to defuse the customers frustrations when all that is needed is a better plan on how to satisfy all customers. Please help your staff out now rather than counting your profits, because if customer service is high then the profits will always follow.

Thanks for your toilet policy. If MacDonald's is near I always feel a little bit confidence, like a part of well knowing part of home for Europeans. Nice point for start shopping in Chester retail park. Banana shake is nice.

Very clean, easy self service system and food was hot and fresh. Staff were lovely with our toddler.

Do always seem to miss something on the order when it's a drive through. However past few times I've been the staff have been upbeat and happy

Very disappointed with the level of service from this McDonald’s restaurant, staff are rude and try to pass the blame for our food order that was sat on the counter going cold when we hadn’t heard them call our order number.

We was very VERY emotional on this trip to mcdonalds one moment we were laughing and smiling with the joyful music but when the music was sad we started being started to the point we thought we was going depressjon we came out of mcdonalds crying our eyes out the music really affects ur mood

Had to park up and wait for ages but the food was nice and hot when I got it.
