Lovely meaner through this beautiful park. It was gorgeous. Just wish people would take their rubbish home or put it in the bins it blows in the lake and is dangerous for the aquatic life 🐸🐑and the πŸ¦’πŸ¦†πŸ¦birds . The wilds flowers and 🌳🌲🌴 are 😍lovely.

So there i was, standing under the obelisk, when the thing its self tells me to drink its water. Now im no religious man but when a century old stone monmument tells me to do something i go ahead and do it. Next thing i know i an rifling through old condoms and lucozade bottles at the base of this falic symbol (someone was compensating) to drink from its juices. Cut to 3 days later and im diagnosed with every std known to mankind. 10/10 would drink again.

Loved this park. I've been to many parks but this park felt like a park. Well placed, an abundance of nature to walk in and around, enough space for a crowd to feel dispersed in - it's a good park. Parking is available around the perimeter of the park for free so that's an added bonus.

It’s difficult to review an obelisk. This gets 5 stars though because the park is one of the best places on earth.

Great place to relax and disconnect the traffic and noise of the center of Liverpool.

The water fountains no longer work, but the Samuel Smith obelisk was renovated some years ago and is now almost back to its former nineteenth century glory.

Excellent obelisk, would definitely obelisk again. Ever wanted to be in the presence of a tall, four-sided monument? Ever wondered why people have historically built questionably shaped structures to make an area seem improved? Then this obelisk will obelisk all of your obelisk needs. Obelisk.

Sefton Park is a really lovely place. There is always something going on there and its such a big place whether you want to be part of the event or just get lost in nature, there is plenty of space. That said there are parts of the park that get very busy, unfortunately even during times of COVID-19, so watch out for those hot spots.
