Overpriced apart hotel, want to leave it as soon as possible. We had a stay in Forenom Thorildsplan 2 years ago (1 bedroom+1 living room). It was a nice fresh new hotel with a new fully equipped kitchen, big fridge, new furniture, conditioner, nice smell etc. Super price ~700 sek. We expected the same experience in Forenom Alvik. Unfortunately, the experience was totally opposite: a small old kitchen, small fridge, the old cracking noisy bed and old sofa, no conditioner (super hot during the summer and sunny days), broken door in the wardrobe, burned heating element in the kettle, smell of an old apartments. Dimmed lighting (not enough of brigtness) and no chance to adjust it. Empty soap bottle in the shower. Entrance door was open all the night because it broke. Probably, there is no guards in the hotel. You don't feel yourself comfortable and secured while staying there. Price ~1300 sek. Late check-in at 16 (we were waitingfor the room and code for 1 hour), early check out - at 11. Absolutely disappointed. Want to leave the Forenom Alvik as soon as possible. Absolutely not recommended. 👎👎👎 Skip it if possible.

Really more of a low cost hostel. Depressing, old rooms, having to open the dirty windows because its too hot and then being woken up by maintenance/construction at 2:30 in the morning. Loud trains and traffic until late. 10:30 staff is already knocking on your door wanting to clean your room. Avoid unless this is the only thing you can afford.

One bed room looks fine but it needs better cleaning quality. Some items are missing from the kitchen and there is no instruction on how to use the induction stove. You will pay the very heavy fine if you make the smoke detector alarm goes off. The most awful part is that there is NO elevator on the 16th floor, so if you happened to stay on that floor, you have to carry your bag up from the 15th floor and walk all the way up to the room. It is super terrible if you have a heavy luggage since there is nobody to help you. There is also NO security lock inside the room. So if you have a kid, you may not feel safe. Another challenge is that there is NO reception or human staff that you can talk to. If you need help, you need to call to their service center and they can take time to respond to your needs and you probably check out already. Elevators look a bit old a s it takes sometime for each elevator to go up and go down. It is also difficult to locate the garbage place. The only advantage I see is that the place is located not far from the train station (but it is far from the city center) and the room price is affordable if you are on a budget. Anyway, you need to be prepared for all the negative parts I mentioned above if you plan to stay here. Personally, I would prefer not staying here again if they do not improve the service and maintenance the elevator and building.

Good apartment hotel. But no washing machine in this apartment and self cleaning apartment. They charge for cleaning separate. Otherwise u need to throw garbage at garbage bin located at car parking. Good for business or official trips. Free Coffee machine and open workspace available at ground floor. Excellent location. Walk able distance to metro station.

This is convenient for going to the center. Rooms are alright, basic, nothing wrong about it. My towel was still dirty even if it was clearly washed.

Room looked very nice and clean but the fact that we were able to check in 30mins later even though we had paid additionally to check in earlier and that the cleaning lady knocked at our door in the morning at 10.00 asked when we plan to leave (check out is at 11.00), leads me to this rate. But the hotel address, the accomodation, that is all good.

It was amazing hotel and stay. Best part that it's service apartment so cooking was easy. Learnt cooking in this hotel. Spent couple of memorable months in this hotel and sometime with wife. Enjoyed the Jacuzzi, pool and Sauna in hotel.

Scary place! Do not stay at this apart hotel it is nothing like the photos advertised. The common areas are all missing. There is no reception and sometimes a guard comes along. It is not a place to stay with a family as many shady characters roam around the common areas. One of them approached me and my family in the evening kneeled in front of us and after shouted in strange language while touching his neck tattoos. We did not feel safe at all. This place is more like a cheap student hostel or dormatory. We asked to get refunded on our stay as the place is not at all as advertised but of course they refused. Terrible and no customer care at all

We’ve had some problems with their service, the rooms were unbelievably cold that some of us got really sick and caught a cold. However, after reports coming from us we got the permission to move to another floor where the rooms were slightly warmer. The place and rooms look really old and not renovated at all. The shower door was making unnecessary loud noises when opening and closing and we didn’t like that, especially because we expected the hotel to be fancy looking (like other usual hotels
). Although, the location is extremely good since it was exactly beside the train station which made it easier for us to use the traffics faster. They also had some beautiful rooms downstairs that had games like billiards, table tennis and even rooms for the children to play at which was actually really cool.

Decent accommodation for a good price. Elevators sounded like planning to crash down any minute. Odours of an older building included. Good sleeping temperature and fair beds. Kitchen is nice when traveling with family. If you are looking for low price, this is it. If you are looking for Hilton, it's somewhere else.

Quite flexible rates compared to other competitions but the service and location was really good. With laundry, room service and other essential amenities.

Situated in good location next to Alvik metro station. From here all city is easy to reach. Smooth experience. Nice views from apartments.

The Staff was available even until late hours I had an amazing time with Mr. Gabriel who was our receptionist. The Reception area was also very tastefully done, with seating and coffee and entertainment like snooker, TT, etc.

Ok apartment hotel. But there is no staff (and no breakfast like some reviews mention). Rooms are frugal. Mine only had two clothes hangers and no way of making coffee.

The place is close to the metro, so it was very easy to get everywhere. Pretty clean, everything like in the description, good price to quality ratio.

Don’t even consider booking this hotel if you care about your safety. Not only is there no staff or security at the hotel, there’s no way to lock the door from the inside. So anyone could open your door, everything is opened with a code. Even the main door into the hotel. Anyone could enter, as a woman and a mother of 2 I felt extremely unsafe. Many of the other guests at this hotel linger around the entrance and gives bad looks. This did not help me feel any safer. We had booked 2 weeks but ended up just staying 1 week. At 11.30pm one night the fire alarm went off, 2 fire trucks came and they went into the building, everyone was evacuated. But no fire was detected, this seems to be a repetitive happening as there is a clear sign in the kitchen. This doesn’t help me feel safe either. On the day of departure the power was cut and we were locked in the room, with no way of getting out as the key pad locks to the door wasn’t working either. No compensation was offered, luckily we had no plans to catch. I’be never experienced such a horrible stay, the central heating is switched off at all times so the apartment is very cold. The bed sofa shouldn’t be allowed to be called that as it’s impossible to sleep on it, it makes so much noise and you can feel the metal springs through the mattress. Cleaning was non existent and they even stated they did clean our room in an e-mail and asked us to rate them.. Never again.

We booked a room for 4 people, one bed one couch. We had to open the couch ourselves and put the sheets on. The “couch bed” was extremely noisy, every time someone turned in their sleep it woke everyone up. The windows faced train track so the trains at night woke us up as well. We arrived later at night but the temperature outside was still around 27 degrees. The temperature inside the apartment felt like 45 degrees. The windows wouldn’t open all the way so the first night until the temperature outside dropped was hell. The shower had no borders/boundaries so the water was spread around the whole bathroom when someone showered and the drain was working slow as if it was plugged. There is no cleaning service and when leaving you have to throw out your garbage. The view from the windows could be nice but they are very very dirty. The only plus was close proximity to the transportation. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

I was there for 3-4 days, visiting Stockholm with some friends. Didnt expect much, bc it was veeeery cheap. But the service blew me away. The lobby offers enough free time activites to cool down after a long sight seeing day. Billiard, ping pong, gmy, free coffee/tee and a very beautifull lobby to sit and chill. Staff was very polite and kind. I was there a few months ago and the only thing i regret is not writing this review earlier.
