    I haven't visited many places in Stockholm, but I am pretty sure this must be one of the most beautiful ones. Not crowded at all (rather lonely) with a beautiful view (other small islands, close chateau). 30 minutes from the city centre by the metro + bus, yet it feels like you are tens of kilometers away from the civilization. Island with rocky forest, surrounded by unbeliavably clear water (compared to the rest of Stockholm). Plus, if you want to have some fun, you can go to the northern area of the island to play some discgolf etc.
