    What a lovely gem hidden in the bushveld! I was there tonight and was greeted by friendly staff and even the owner was there and they immediately let you feel like family. The food was fresh, tasty and very affordable. Thank you for the amazing time and I only wish you well.

    We are locals and walked to Farmstead this morning for the first time in years. Had a lovely and good value for money breakfast. Very basic but enjoyable. Hot chicken livers with toast (although I received chips (that were great)) was the best I have eaten in years! Looking forward to visiting again soon, specially if they decide to sell wine by the glass again.

    Would appreciate more specials (drinks and food combos alike) Pricing is a tad off. The heat and sound dilemma's we encountered the two previous times and the way it was handled wasn't ideal for a business. A little warmer atmosphere and neater landscaping, placement and extras would also help the over all look and feel of the place appeal to more people.

    I visited the Farmstead recently with a friend. The relaxed local atmosphere are attractive. However there signs to get there was not very clear. The food is ok but not great and no filter coffee ...only instant. Definitely more a drinking place and some steak specials on Fridays. Enjoyed the peace and quiet the area offered.
