What an awesome place. Nice animals. Best fishing. Just amazing. There dogs are looked after. Always coming to say hello when u get at African blessings and they are so sweet Safety is excellent. Nice horses.

Amazing venue. Clean quiet and very safe. only thing i feel could be worked on is the space for Bass fishing. Carp fisherman take over the entire dam leaving only a couple small ponds to catch bass in. would have been nice to know this before paying a full day fee of R150. Apart from this issue this is a place i Definitely would recommend for a weekend away or a day with the family.

A tad bit dissapointed that the bass fishing was pushed to a lower priority and the three small dams while the specimen fishing are prioritised more. Good for the specimen anglers I guess :) a good and quiet place regardless

Amazing venue. Clean quiet and very safe. Been here a few times and caught some beautiful fish. My last trip was special as I caught my 1st koi from top take.

So relaxing very good camping sites, the only downfall was the lights did not work in the small ablution block, so you cant use the shower if you don't have your own lights.

For the past year i been wanting to visit this place. With lockdown and everything else happening i decided to close the year off with a trip to Academy Lakes. Firstly the place is very well kept and the tranquility of the bank is awesome. Didn't manage to land any fish this session but will definitely be back
