My family and I love Spanky's but our last few visits have been been great. On 10/6/23 I placed a phone order just after 5 pm. I was told it would be 30 minutes. At 5:45 pm the food was still not ready and was told it was only ordered a few minutes previously, which was not true. At about 6:15 pm the food was finally ready. Received the Carolina Pulled Pork sandwich rather than the BBQ Pulled Pork ordered. Had to throw the sandwich out as my husband cannot eat mustard. Pizza was burnt and very overcooked. Most of the pizza had to be thrown out as well as the crust was too hard. Not very impressed. May not return until new restaurant is opened.

My Best friend moved into Waterford this weekend. She picked up a few DELICIOUS pizza’s!! The crust was so thin and crispy!! The toppings were delicious!! Even though I personally live 35 min away… I WILL be ordering from them and picking it up!! It was absolutely the Best Pizza Ever!!!

Don’t sleep on Spanky’s!! Always great food and service with a smile. 🥰 As a small business owner I appreciate the hustle of the staff. It’s just a great atmosphere overall.

Just tried Spanky's again after forgetting about it for a while, and was thoroughly impressed with the food that we received! Got the roast beef & beer cheese sandwich, which was amazing, and ordered 15 wings (split teriyaki and Buffalo garlic parmesan), but unfortunately was shorted two wings! Update: Things happen, we are happy you made it right (see comment below), and we will be back soon! 😁

The few times we've eaten here, the food has been excellent!! It's nice that Waterford has a place like this because there's not much around here. The service and drinks have been good. It is a bar, so I don't recommend bringing small children or babies in here, but definitely order to go! Their pizza is excellent! We can't wait for their new location to open.

We'd read great things about Spanky's and specifically their pizza. We planned our visit for Sunday evening, after the live music had ended at 5:30. We arrived shortly after 6 pm, and both inside and out were quite loud and moderately crowded. Two recently vacated tables inside were still dirty, but shortly after we sat down, someone was there to clean up. Despite there apparently being only one server inside, she did a nice job checking in on us. Menu is QR code - make sure to check the board near the front entrance for today's offerings/specials (we didn't notice it until we left) and weren't told about it. There are no drinks on the QR menu, but there is a small table tent of summer drinks and a board with beer taps. We ordered the duck bacon and sweet corn wontons to start. Despite our server mentioning the kitchen being backed up, we noticed food coming out with regularity, and we didn't feel we had to wait exceptionally long. Oddly, they didn't provide any plates, and there was just a roll of paper towels on the table along with a caddie of individually wrapped plastic utensils. The wontons were hot and tasty. We enjoyed both of the sauces. When our pizza arrived, we finally asked for plates, which were needed. Sadly, our pizza did not live up to what we'd read. First, it was only moderately warm. The table next to ours had their pizza come out hot enough that you could see steam rising. Our toppings were constantly falling off, and we seriously wondered if we needed to specify cheese as it, along with the mushrooms we'd ordered, seemed nonexistent. Sauce was either too sparse to taste or tasteless. What was prevalent was burnt corn meal under the pizza, which was not only unpleasant to look at but was unpleasant to eat. The spicy pepperoni we'd read about was good, and the crust was thin and crispy. We saw lots of people ordering pizza and pizza takeout, but our experience was underwhelming.

Cheese curds are excellent! Nice back patio. Bartender wasn't sure what an IPA was, but it's also rural Wisconsin. Edit to Response: Bartender did seem young. I don't doubt the owner knows what an IPA is, but by chance asked her does she have any non-IPA beers. She asked, whats an IPA? I said, beers that are usually hoppy. She was even more confused, I'm guessing she doesn't or can't drink. Lol. But she ended up letting us try a few samples so it turned out just fine!

Absolutely delicious food for a reasonable price. The burgers are fantastic. Highly recommend the tater tot appetizer. Pizza is also always good. Never had anything I didn't like here.
