I stopped by for a quick tour of Bucyrus Club. Its absolutely the most beautiful wedding venue in the South Milwaukee area. I stopped unannounced as I was in the area and Ernie was so accommodating to take time out of his day to show me this gem. I cant wait to be back for a wedding!

My husband and I got married at Bucyrus Club on 8/19/23. From the first meeting with Ernie to the day of our wedding, the service we received was outstanding! Ernie and Elyse are both such a dream to work with, and they have an amazing team behind them! The food is delicious, the space is stunning, and let me reiterate that the service is OUTSTANDING!! We cannot thank Ernie and Elyse enough, as well as Chef Conner and his team. We couldn’t have wished for a better day!

I absolutely cannot say enough amazing things about my experience here. I have worked in events for seven years, and struggled to find a place I trusted for my own wedding. The communication, kindness, day of coordination, food and literally EVERYTHING ELSE were beyond amazing. If you are considering a private event here, you will absolutely not regret it.

Choosing Bucyrus Club for our special day was one of the best decisions we made. From the moment we walked in, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. While the space is beautiful and very spacious, Ernie was the reason why we chose this venue. Maya Angelou said it best, “ I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” From our first conversation with Ernie he made us feel so comfortable and left us with a feeling that we did not have when we visited/toured other venues around Milwaukee. The level of service we received was exceptional; they truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day unforgettable. Ernie, Elyse, Tegan, and the rest of the Bucyrus Club were not only professional but also incredibly friendly and accommodating. It felt like they were as invested in our day as we were, and their warmth and genuine enthusiasm made the entire planning process enjoyable. What set Bucyrus Club apart was their attention to detail and their commitment to being on top of every aspect of our event. We never had to worry about a single thing because their team was so organized and efficient. It allowed us to relax and fully immerse ourselves in the joy of our wedding day. One aspect that we particularly appreciated was the family-focused approach of the Bucyrus Club. They understood the significance of the day not just for us, but for our families as well. This emphasis on family added a unique touch to the entire experience and made us feel even more connected to the venue. We cannot say enough about this place! We had our wedding there and it was absolutely seamless. The venue is extremely spacious and beautifully restored. Ernie and Elyse were so accommodating from the moment we went to look at the venue until we came back to clean up after the wedding. The entire staff treats you like family. Everyone at our wedding could not stop talking about the space, food and staff. We are so thankful for them and highly recommend this space for any event!

My husband and I were married at the Bucyrus Club on 4/1. We knew that we wanted to use this space a year out from the wedding. From the day we said yes to the venue all the way up to the big day, Ernie and Elyse were answering ALL of our emails, and really made us feel like we were a part of the Bucyrus family. We were lucky enough to use the whole space. From having the ceremony in the 1893 Ballroom, then moving to our cocktail hour in the Bucyrus Museum/Founder Room, and reception in the Grand Ballroom, EVERYTHING was seamless. FOOD WAS AMAZING (I wish I could underline amazing)! The staff was on point and ready to handle anything that came their way. Ernie and Elyse were available from the time we came in the morning to the final guests leaving. I am SO, SO happy we picked this venue for our special day. I cannot thank them enough for making sure all our needs were met. Thank you, Bucyrus Club!!!! P.S. If you ever use the Museum for an event, the docents are fabulous! All of our guests loved talking to them and learning about the rich history of the Bucyrus. Plus, they're just really fun and easy going guys :) P.P.S. THERE IS A HUGE PARKING LOT AND THIS BUILDING IS SO ACCESSIBLE FOR ALL YOUR GUESTS. Seriously. Please use this space. It literally has everything you need in one spot.

The venue is beautiful and the staff are very attentive and friendly. Ernie is amazingly accommodating. The upstairs museum is an added bonus and a lot of fun. The caterer did an awesome job with the food and we received many compliments throughout the evening. The building was beautiful renovated with its gorgeous cream city brick, a chic bar area and large windows, I was thrilled with everything and highly recommend the venue. The Bucyrus Club made the event perfect!

My daughter had her wedding and reception at Bucyrus Club. It was AMAZING! From our first visit to see the venue to the "big day" Ernie and the staff were so helpful and ready to do whatever they could to make the day perfect...and they did! We would recommend Bucyrus Club to anyone having a wedding or any other type of celebration!

Great job on our reunion. The food was excellent. Ernie was always responsive when questions needed answering. The staff was very helpful and responded quickly to our requests. Five star venue!

We couldn’t thank Bucyrus enough for the perfect wedding experience! Ernie was the best to work with and was so flexible with us! He was willing to meet with us at any time to discuss plans and the communication was above and beyond. We were at ease coming into our wedding day. The venue is beautiful and goes with the industrial look we were going for! Not to mention the history behind the building made it so special to someone who was born and raised in the Milwaukee area!

Such an incredible venue for any event. The museum is worth a visit by itself. Thanks to all the gracious volunteers whose lives have been indelibly touched by the Bucyrus Co., in being the best docents, teaching us so much history. If you're interested in history, in what built a community, the industrial revolution, and things on a titan scale...make plans to visit this museum.

The entire process of planning our wedding reception was made easy and as stress free as possible. Ernie was very helpful with the planning process. The staff was so nice, food was great and the evening went so smoothly. Our guests were very impressed as well . Highly recommend Bucyrus Club and Skyline Catering.

@mitchandjenna took a tour of The Bucyrus Club in South Milwaukee this week, what an awesome experience! 1. When you reserve this venue for your wedding you get the WHOLE building, including the Bucyrus museum upstairs. They have two ballrooms, one typically for ceremonies and smaller parties and one larger for receptions. During cocktail hour, guests get to go upstairs and tour the museum and be entertained by some amazing history of a Milwaukee born company that was responsible for the work of the Panama Canal. 2. It's super affordable. 3. Their staff is amazing! Give the Bucyrus Club a look if you're still in search for your venue.

We were married at the Bucyrus Club last week, and they were phenomenal! Not only is the venue beautiful and the food exceptional (major shoutout to Connor from Skyline Catering), but the staff helped make the day go perfectly. Genuinely nothing went wrong day of, and Ernie and Elyse made the wedding planning process smooth and easy. They were flexible, accommodating, and responsive to any questions or needs. My husband and I, and our families, cannot speak highly enough of the Bucyrus Club!!!

What a beautiful venue with such an amazing history. Even if you don't have an event catered there, I highly recommend going through the museum that is upstairs. Fascinating!

We ordered the fish fry for take out and it was excellent. Fresh food and very delicious, not over salty like some local fish fries. Inside was very beautiful and great ambience. We are excited to try dining in soon. So glad to see a great establishment move into South Milwaukee and locally owned

We attended the SM PAC dinner dance in the Grand Ballroom on Friday September 24th. Everything was perfect. The table set up, the food, the service and the music … all in a beautiful venue. We had a gluten free person and the staff went above and beyond to make sure she had exactly what she needed. Looking forward to attending many more events here. Thanks Ernie and crew!

Ernie & his team provided the most beautiful wedding experience imaginable for our families! Ernie listened to the couple’s needs & then found a way to make it all happen seamlessly, keeping all the work behind the scenes & making it appear effortless (when it really took him & his team tons of work). Ernie’s can-do-anything approach & calm, supportive delivery were so reassuring at a time when nerves can be distracting. The venue was beautiful for the event! Kids/adults of all ages loved the museum & the docents added to the charm of the evening adding their BE memories. The food was all delicious with top notch service. It was the perfect evening thanks to Ernie’s leadership & his excellent team!

I'm a wedding planner and recently worked a wedding at Bucyrus Club for the first time and I was thoroughly impressed! Ernie and Elyse and their entire staff were so friendly, helpful, efficient, and on top of all of the details. They were very hands on and always around when anyone needed anything. The food was delicious and that was the fastest I have ever seen almost 200 guests get through a buffet line! My team and I were so pleased with our experience and we really hope we get to work there again soon.

I hosted a baby shower at Bucyrus Club. The staff were all fabulous, especially Ernie, Elyse, and Tracie. I live out of state and the communication was so easy. I would highly recommend the venue and catering for an event.

I cannot give a good enough review to the Bucyrus Club. From the moment I reached out about holding our wedding reception to the very end, impeccable. The level of communication, organization, experience, and attention to detail made for a beautiful and worry free event. It is clear that Ernie and everyone at the Bucyrus Club take great pride in and enjoy what they do. We utilized their museum for our cocktail hour, which was a really nice touch (my uncle is STILL talking about how much he enjoyed it 3 months later!). Their appetizers were excellent, ranging from standard fare to things like tomato soup shooters with mini grilled cheese & bacon wrapped water chestnuts. Ernie was happy to work with us to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions for our dinner menu, which (surprise) was also delicious. In addition to the wonderful food, there was ample parking available and a beautiful outdoor seating area furnished with heaters. Should I ever need a space for an event again, I will without a doubt return to the Bucyrus Club.
