The best milkshake I've ever had in my life. The food was good and actually affordable. The atmosphere was great and the service was impeccable. 10/10 will go again.

this place was one of our favorite places during our trip to Philly, crazy as it may seem. it's not the Ritz Carlton and I don't think they pretend to be . the dining room was very active and there were people running all over the place which made for an exciting and entertaining meal! food was wonderful! definitely ordered way more than we should've but everything coming off the line looked so good. Staff was incredible. and our server, Eileen, should be a National Treasure. she is definitely worth the visit by herself! Shakes are terrific and were served in an awesome reusable cup. if you are traveling through Philadelphia, do yourself a favor and stop in...even if it's just for one of the crazy shake combos! 10 stars IMO

Everyone was really nice. Manager walked around making sure everyone was enjoying themselves. Waitress was very helpful and patient with this being my first time. Definitely will be back again. Prices are reasonable

Great breakfast, like going to Arnold's from "Happy Days" - music included! Make sure you get the fresh squeezed orange juice. And we took home milkshakes for later - best ever!

The pros: The milkshakes are very good. We got the chocolate banana peanut butter and the almond one. Both were very good. The chocolate banana PB one was my favorite (it had real banana chunks in it). It they only served milkshakes, I would give a 5 star review! The regular fries were good. Not the best fries I have had but probably better than McDonald's or Burger Kings. Unlike some of the other reviewers, there was a fairly attentive host, who recorded who showed up when to try and sat people in order. Cons: The wait for a table was quite long, and there was very little room in the entry area. I got the mushroom swiss burger because of some good reviews about it. The burger was very lackluster. Despite the menu saying that fresh mushrooms are used, I am fairly confident that canned mushrooms were used. Overall, I believe a burger from Burger King or McDonald's is just as good (and the same level of unhealthy). So, there is no reason not to go to one of them unless the primary reason for coming here is to get a milkshake. Still, I would order one to go if that is the main reason. The spicy fries are not very good. There is a ton of seasoning dumped on top, and it tastes mostly of paprika and chili powder. I ended up rubbing most of it off with a knife before eating it. I also tried someone else's cheese fries and can confirm that they use cheese whiz, it tastes terrible.

First time here. Employees were very nice n welcoming, the atmosphere was very pleasant. Texas burger was really good. Cheese steak was pretty good, cheese fries were good, and the milkshake was awesome. They have a lot of options. Will definitely be back to try out more food/shakes

Even though they messed up my order I still give them a 5 star rating. The food is amazing and delicious. I love the 60's theme and even though the place is always packed they keep it clean all the time. This restaurant and location is my go to every time I am in Philadelphia. If you haven't tried niftys fifty's you haven't lived

I'm from Reading, PA. I found this place on Instagram and pinned it on Google Maps. I was dropping off my son at the Philadelphia Airport and was looking for somewhere to eat and saw the pin and so I stopped in. Nice atmosphere, and the food was great. It's definitely worth stopping for. I didn't try any milkshakes, but omw back to pick him up, I will stop and grab one.

Nifty Fifties is a fun old school burger and milkshake place. There are so many different milkshakes to try. I recommend getting more than one for the table and splitting them. If you're going to the Folsom location, do yourself a favor and request McKalya as your server. She is so nice and friendly, and is an excellent server. She will make your experience as good as it can be.

The best fresh squeezed oj you'll ever have. Perfect waffles. Hashbrowns instead of home fries, big plus. If you're into huge, killer shakes, then this is the place for you. Holidays and late weekend mornings expect a slight wait for a table.

I love this place. I had the cheese steak and fries for the first time, and it was really good. My friends food temperature was not up to par. The waitress had the manager come over. He apologized, quickly resolved our issue, and everyone was happy. My first timers are looking forward to returning to Nifty Fifty's. Thank you, everyone, for making our visit pleasant.
