I
would
like
to
start
by
saying
that
Amberleigh
Ridge
is
not
an
awful
place
to
live.
However,
I
do
not
recommend
these
apartments
to
anyone
for
multiple
reasons.
To
start,
the
day
we
moved
in
the
apartment
was
not
very
clean.
It
took
hours
to
get
all
of
the
grime
and
dust
off
of
the
counters,
blinds,
and
in
the
cabinets.
The
carpet
was
not
in
terrible
shape,
but
it
could
have
been
better.
The
bathtubs/showers
looked
as
though
they
hadn’t
been
cleaned
in
quite
a
while.
That
being
said,
we
were
asked
to
fill
out
a
sheet
with
what
we
found
broken/wrong
with
the
apartment
so
we
were
not
charged
whenever
we
moved
out.
We
turned
our
paper
in
with
some
issues
on
it,
and
did
not
hear
back
from
them.
Within
the
first
week
of
living
there,
I
was
working
night
shift
and
sleeping
during
the
day
while
my
husband
was
at
work.
I
was
woken
up
midday
to
2
men
standing
in
the
kitchen
with
our
alarm
going
off.
I
asked
them
if
I
could
help
them
and
they
proceeded
to
tell
me
that
they
were
maintenance
and
they
were
there
to
fix
the
issues
we
put
on
our
form.
I
was
extremely
uncomfortable
with
how
they
went
about
this.
I
never
received
a
phone
call,
email,
or
anything
letting
me
know
they
would
be
coming.
They
proceeded
to
change
the
filter
underneath
our
microwave
and
fix
a
leaky
faucet.
During
this,
they
set
the
old
filter
from
our
microwave
on
our
carpet,
which
left
a
large
grease
stain
on
it.
I
called
the
leasing
office
after
they
left
and
explained
to
them
that
I
was
very
uncomfortable
and
disappointed
in
how
they
went
about
this
and
informed
them
that
they
left
a
grease
stain
on
the
carpet.
They
told
me
that
they
were
sorry
they
scared
me
and
in
the
future
they
will
try
to
call
first.
There
were
multiple
times
when
we
were
informed
that
the
fire
department
or
someone
else
would
be
entering
our
apartment
for
maintenance
via
a
note
on
our
door.
These
notes
never
included
days
or
times
that
our
apartment
would
be
entered,
but
they
would
make
it
clear
to
keep
pets
put
away.
One
Sunday
evening
(at
9
pm
mind
you),
maintenance
was
pressure
washing
the
breezeways
and
sidewalks.
They
pressure
washed
so
close
to
our
door
that
water
and
debris
came
under
our
door
into
our
kitchen
(photos
attached).
When
we
submitted
our
intent
to
vacate
after
our
1
year
lease
was
up,
we
were
sent
an
offer
letter
with
a
“special
rate”
for
our
rent
if
we
stayed.
This
“special
rate”
was
$5
off
what
their
normal
rate
is.
When
we
moved
out
of
the
apartment,
we
left
it
in
better
condition
than
when
we
moved
in.
We
requested
paint
from
maintenance
and
covered
up
our
own
nail
holes,
left
liners
in
all
of
the
cabinets,
left
brand
new
toilet
seats
and
shower
heads,
etc.
It
is
safe
to
say
we
left
the
apartment
in
almost
perfect
condition.
Amberleigh
ridge
still
did
not
give
us
our
full
security
deposit
back.
Overall,
for
the
price
they
charge
Amberleigh
ridge
is
far
from
the
“luxury”
apartments
that
they
claim
to
be.
They
are
extremely
dated
and
it’s
clear
that
they
do
not
care
much
for
their
residents.
They
are
money
hungry
and
they
do
not
put
any
of
your
money
towards
the
upkeep
of
the
apartments.
