DAS BBQ is within a couple miles of my house, but I only went recently. As the name implies, this is definitely a restaurant you want to go to when you’re in the mood for barbecue. I got the beef brisket sandwich while my mom and sister got the chopped chicken sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich. I really liked the side of DAS corn. It’s cheesy and has a good amount of spice. All the sandwiches were tasty, and there’s an option of three different sauces at the table for customers to put on their sandwiches. I personally liked the hog sauce. This is a good choice if you’re craving barbecue.

Took my family there the other day, food was fabulous. Ribs are so tender. Briskets and pulled pork are juicy and tender. We had collard green, cream corn, coleslaw with sesame. I’d say well done to the location. The only nip picking is that their in house containers are way too nice. I feel bad throwing them away when we done. Love the place and will be back. On the side note to people that say this place is expensive, come on if you want high quality, this place is very reasonable.

Good food, just way overpriced. See attached photo for what $53 will get you at DAS BBQ. For a long time, this was the only choice for BBQ on the Westside. Until Fox Bros. BBQ came along, which is just as good, if not better, but at a more reasonable price. The pint sized Mac and Cheese was not full, nor were the collard greens. I will say that they have the best collard greens around, however. I just don’t see how they stay in business long term when there’s an alternative at a much better price. Sad.

Went here for the first time on Saturday. Staff was professioal but not a friendly as I expected. We eat in due to not alot a people because we went early. The space is nice and with indoor and outdoor seating. I enjoyed my food but the smoked wings has a taste that we didn't expect nor liked. real eat score is 4.3. I will get the brisket sandwich again.

Pretty good BBQ. The sides are the true star. The mac and cheesy was nicely seasoned and creamy. The collards were good, had a kick, and are a vinegar base. I prefer my collards to be leaves only and no spines. The DAS corn was really good and had a nice kick to it as well. The chicken wings were very tasty and had the appropriate amount of smokiness. The brisket was tender, nice flavor, nice char, but no smokiness. I liked their GA peach bbq sauce. This place is a walk-up to the counter and order. 5 beer choices (which is good). No traditional servers. Patio had strong fans so it wasn't uncomfortably hot on the patio. Staff was extremely nice! Parking is on-site. I would definitely recommend anyone to go here.

You will be shocked when you get your food. I can't imagine that this restaurant has 4.4 star. Prepared food. Not freshly made. Overpriced. Updated 3 days later: In my impression of Atlanta, it is a very suitable city to live in. Especially, the restaurant has great value for money. The feeling comes back after feeding myself in different restaurants in these days.

Holy Cow! This place is awesome. It's the best brisket east of Texas. The sides are also amazing. The corn and mac are next level. Highly recommended.

Intimate place. Nice to see the meats sliced in front of you. Simple menu. Decent portions of brisket and turkey for the sandwich. Collard greens were little sweet had to add some vinegar sauce to balance. Coleslaw was fresh but needed more of it dressing. Mac and cheese was good.

Good brisket and ribs. Tender meat with good smoky flavor. The ribs are cooked well so the meat doesn't fall off the bone, but has slight pull. For me I didn't really care for their creamed corn, was interesting with the spice. Just not what I was expecting. The banana pudding was very good and unique. There is some white chocolate in there that added a distinctive element. I wouldn't drive across town to eat here, but living in the neighborhood would be happy to keep eating here.

First time went sat at bar. Ordered beer. Made me pay for every beer as they were served. Three cops eating few feet away. Did they think i would drink & dash? Tried again…ordered 1/2 chicken…which in every southern bbq place translates to bbq chicken cut in half…right? Not here….they serve you messy ground up (all dark non-select) 1/2 lb of pieces of chicken (from warmer) in a soup-like cup mixture.

Good meat well smoked, good atmosphere with a nice outside area. They cut the meet right in front of you and serve it up fresh. They have some local and general beers available. Only have a couple of BBQ sauces. One tomato based, one mustard, one vinegar. All of the meats are done Texas style. Something different but nothing that really stands out beyond the staff and atmosphere

They have the best BBQ sauce I’ve ever had. Drove 45 minutes from Buford to buy a bottle. I wish they had a closer location…hey DAS open a location in Buford it’s guaranteed to do well all we have is a Sonny’s which they’re good but this is real bbq.

I saw this palace on Atlanta Eats look good on the website. So I went today I ordered the ribs, Mac and cheese and baked beans. The ribs did not have any flavor the only thing good was the baked beans. I will not be going here anymore. Spent 25.00 waste of money.

I traveled from MD to try this brisket and I am not disappointed. The flavor and the juiciness of the brisket slapped. I cook my own Brisket and if I do say so myself my Brisket is good but this brisket makes me what to dedicate my life to the craft. I know corny and hyperbolic but for real it’s just that good. Thank you for your time.

Food was pretty good. I was surprised I preferred the vinegar based bbq sauce of the traditional. But that Georgia Peach BBQ sauce, 💯💯💯A-mazingnngggg. Had the pulled BBQ chicken sandwich, first bite brought back memories family reunions long ago. Also tried the brisket, pretty good once I cut off the fat. One complaint, what is the purpose of sesame seeds in coleslaw. Most people don't eat it, but if it were your first time trying coleslaw, its understandable to hate.

Fantastic food made based on years of traditional southern BBQ meat smoking & grilling techniques. Friendly staff taking great pride in their craft. Every item we tried on the menu was spot on. I’m definitely going back next time I visit Atlanta.

Very tasty and flavorful food. They know their lane and they execute on it well. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. A bit pricey for some items relative to portion size but understandable given the quality and consistent cook of the meat. Also, they have an uncommonly robust rewards program for frequent dinners which earns banked dollars at a decent rate.

Sitting on the patio on a warm summer day, the smell of oak in the air, made me feel like I was back in Austin. The BBQ was great without sauce, and even better with it. I really like the peach sauce, it wasn't just sweet but really had peach flavor. The Mac and Cheese, and the potato salad are the best. The service was great, super friendly staff. I will be back.

The brisket was top notch. The ribs were a three. The sausage was okay. $7.50 for one sausage. Could have purchased five of pretty much the same sausage for the same price. They saw me coming. The pork sandwich would have been better if the roll wasn't sweet. The potato salad tasted like yesterday's scraps. The coleslaw was passable. The chips were rancid. The two bbq sauces were not good. The peach was the worst.

Excellent from start to finish. Friendly and helpful customer service, clean and inviting restaurant and outdoor patio. We had our dog with us and sat on the patio. Ice cold dog water bowl was brought out immediately, which was a pleasant surprise. The food was absolutely delicious. We tried the brisket, pork, chicken and ribs which were all outstanding. The sides were all very solid as well - mac n cheese, beans, potato salad and slaw were all homemade. We even grabbed some more brisket to take home for later! We will definitely stop here whenever we are in the area.

Fathers Day with adult kids. BBQ family. Ordered ribs, brisket, pulled pork, sausage, mac & cheese, collards, banana pudding. All meat was good...brisket incredible...sausage very basic, wouldn't order it again. Mac & cheese amazing! Collards weren't trimmed well. Banana pudding okay...wouldn't order again. With the exception of Les...the staff was amazingly rude...on top of that, it's counter service with zero table service, but a 20% tip. All four of us independently were surprised by the level of rudeness...they were obviously doing us a favor by being there. Les was great...very friendly...takes his job seriously. Very expensive for what you get. Disappointed in the service and rudeness...won't go back...good news is...in ATL...there are lots of restaurants to choose from. Always amazed at how much trouble an owner will go to open a place, but let employees run customers off.

The food was pretty good. Tje meats are.perfectly smoked. The ribs were fall off the bone perfection! The only things I didn't enjoy were the greens and the potato salad. The greens were unseasoned and had an odd, sweet taste. The potato salad, while visually appealing, was bland and tasteless. Over all a great place to eat based off their meats and ambiance.

If you live within a 30 minute drive from DAS Barbecue, make the trip!! You won’t regret it. For one, all the smoking is done on site, The barbecue and brisket (my personal favorite) is beyond tender and flavorful and the sides are better than your Grandmother made them. Don’t miss the Banana Pudding - it’s to die for!!! Five plus stars 🥰 L. Brooks, Buckhead

Food was simply amazing. The service was fast and friendly. The menu is simple. I had the brisket, which has perfect bark and ratio of fat to lean. The Brunswick stew was good as was the collard greens. We will be back!

My wife was Just informed of this restaurant by a friend. Last night we tried it. The pulled pork and chicken were outstanding. The chicken's smoked flavor was excellent. It was all white meat chunks. Not pulled. No gristle or fat anywhere. we highly recommend their bar b que!

My wife and I picked up food on Sunday for friends and it was delicious! Everyone that worked at the West Side location was friendly and Les was very helpful in answering questions on the menu. This is our favorite BBQ spot in Atlanta.

I usually get the ribs, but decided to try the brisket sandwich this time. It was great! My vegan friend likes this BBQ because they don't cook their sides with meat, so there's still something for her to eat, and she loves the collared greens and the spicy corn. I also had the brownie for desert. Very good brownie.

Solid BBQ spot. Got my plate before I even sat down. Pulled pork very moist and had that good smoke flavor. Mac & cheese was a 3/5 due to the price and was not hot upon serving. For lunch I feel this should have been more of a $9-$10 meal. After a fountain drink + tip it ran me $22. Good atmosphere. Quick and easy lunch.

Absolutely fantastic! I ordered 1/2 lb brisket, mac-and-cheese, and banana pudding, while my wife ordered a pulled pork sandwich. Everything was delicious and ready quick. The mac-and-cheese and the banana pudding are absolute must orders, the brisket and pulled pork had a fantastic flavor, and the sauces were rich and fantastic. The vinegar -based sauce was a bit more sour than I was expecting, and the expresso-infused sauce was an interesting (and good) experience. This stop is definitely an addition to my "you must eat here" for my friends and family who visit GA.

Was bummed no baked beans. Max and cheese was blah. Need yo get a better selection of bbq sauce. And my Togo container was a big piece of foil

Been meaning to eat here for awhile and finally was able to swing by. Got some turkey, pork, and brisket with collards and slaw on the side. Turkey was juicy and well seasoned, pork had great texture and flavor, and the brisket was a thing of beauty. The slaw was right up my alley, vinegar based instead of the sweet & creamy stuff you often find. And savory collards that I added some of the hog mop sauce to. Overall, this is some top quality BBQ with no fuss. Great service, great location. Definitely worth a stop.
