EDIT: Well unfortunately this PF has gone to a modified schedule and is not open 24 hrs anymore which is the reason why myself and several other members that I see during my normal nite owl shift are not happy with. The holiday schedule is the worst. Day after Memorial Day it's not open at midnight? 05:00? Why? Most people have a consistent schedule and this doesn't make.much sense what difference does 5 hrs make for those of us that come between those hrs? Would it really make or break the budget here? I understand the challenges of running a business in these odd times but when your company started and promoted itself as a 24 he fitness club I feel you should stick to what got you started. Again for myself and the other loyal members that come in at night are consistent and this disruption of the schedule that we joined for in the first place is very frustrating to say the least. And the only one still left open 24 hours a day! Always clean always friendly staff owner is amazing.

We joined recently and have had great workout experiences at each visit. This location is open 24/7 with lots of free onsite parking. There are free lockers, and a wide variety of workout equipment. It's never been so crowded that you can't spread out from other patrons. The staff are welcoming and helpful. We use the bikes, treadmills and ellipticals. I was delighted to find rowing machines there too. The bathrooms and changing rooms are well maintained. They even have a free reward bowl of tootsie rolls waiting at the front desk.

Visiting from out of town for a few days, large parking lot big enough for a RV your truck, food and shopping nearby, Chipotle next door. Nice facility, we visited about noon on Tuesday, not too busy, smaller gym than other planet Fitness facilities. Black ceilings and old school lights make it a bit dim, two small fans on the roof, this is definitely an older gym based on the equipment that we see at the other gyms. Staff was nice, place was clean and a guy was walking around cleaning stuff. Bathrooms were clean on the men's side and the woman's side which is surprising cuz other planet Fitness gyms the woman's bathroom is a complete and utter mess.

I personally enjoy every moment I step into Planet Fitness. The atmosphere, the people, and experience, has always been warm and exciting. There is no better gym, for the price, in the world. The employees are knowledgeable, and friendly. So i give this company a five star rating. My children love this place as well. If you have never been there, you owe it to yourself to give it a try. Don't just take my word, the truth will speak for itself. Hope to see you there one day.

Sign up as my home gym, been there over a month now, the place is clean and some staff are friendly, but atmosphere don't feel friendly, feel a lot of white rage every time I go there, maybe I should stay out of this one for my sake of my inner peace.

While being stranded and homeless on the streets of Philadelphia, PA on July 10, 2023 between 7-7:30 PM, this gentleman by the name "Woody," alleged manager of Planet Fitness (see attached image,) stated I was not allowed to use the restroom/shower due to the fact that I was not a "member." I parked my car out front of the building and went inside to use the restroom/shower, beingsthough a female employee gave me permission to do so a few days prior. 15-20 minutes of being inside, 2 Philadelphia officers, 1 male and 1 female, entered the female restrooms and escorted me out of the restroom/shower area due to me not being a "member." When I exited the facility, I noticed my vehicle was missing. I requested an incident/theft report from both the store manager and Philadelphia PD, however, store manager Woody was unable to provide me with 1 at that time; Officer Nunez (male officer) only provided me with an incomplete document with a docket number written on it (see attached image.) I revisited the scene the next day, July 11, 2023 around 11AM and requested an incident form again from manager Woody, in which he informed me that I would need to complete the form myself (see attached image.) I also requested a video investigation to be performed, however, he mentioned that would be local law enforcements duty and responsibility which I understood. All in all, does this company have their own private security company to handle matters of accidents/incidents or is it the responsibility of the employees/management? With that being said, I consider this experience as: poor management, incompletion of proper documentation, poor communication, no responsibility and no accountability.

This is a fun and convenient gym in South Philly. Parking is easy. The gym vibe is nice. The staff is friendly. It's clean. One area for improvement would be the stretching area. The gym could use a stretching cage.

My first time ever joining a gym. The environment is clean & the atmosphere is pretty chill. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They have cleaning stations to clean the equipment before or after you're done. Plenty of cardio machines to workout on but only seems to be two of arm & leg machines each. The dumbbell area is usually crowded. 3/4 of the barbells are usually occupied. The men's bathroom is nice but there's only two urinals & stalls each. One employee claims that people have stolen from lockers before and recommended buying a lock if I was gonna use the lockers. So just a heads up! Overall a good experience.

I love this Location the gym is always kept clean and staff is very pleasant only down side I wish this location was 24 hours 7 days a week like the other locations

Been very familiar with the fitness business and all types of people, training a friend but two altercations with two angry people in three months at that place is really sorry to say maybe it's to easy for anyone to join,to young to cheap anyone off the street can walk in.Maybe if they care about there staff they hire no one is hardly there to really work not 1 out of the 2 persons that work there give a dam....

Not to sure if I've visited on the wrong day but definitely not the experience I was expecting. The women's bathroom was unkempt. You couldn't clean the machine because almost every towel paper dispenser were empty except for the two by the desk. Only one employee was on the floor cleaning. If I was to judge firsthand, I would say this place is run by derelict employees. But the best part about this gym is how nice they are when you first enter. They have the potential to improve!

I love this location! Going here is such an escape for me. It has become my happy place. Everything is always very clean and the staff is so nice!

The staff on Friday night was extremely professional. Came in at 8:30pm said I'll be quick, and they replied "we're glad you came in." Then I lost my phone and was looking for it until after 9pm and the three staff members helped me look all over the gym for it until I found it. Glad I signed up and go to this location.👍

Not to crowded. The equipment looks brand new and clean. Users of the gym are organized and keep equipment in the same way. It has a good area for parking so, is really easy to park here.

Was here almost a year. on 1/23/24 around 7pm. Employee rudely spoke to me. using foul language. Used the words "sheit" as he was talking to me. Wasnt very helpful either as it was app related. Poor attitude and customer service.

I was a loyal black member here even through covid, but (due to covid) I was relocated temporarily for next 2 years to Houston, TX. Club charged me the $39 annual maintenance fee and will not refund a cent even though it's less than a month since they charged me. Their answer is to "refer to the contract you signed". Name me one person that reads those awful contracts. Person was rude and refused to have a manager talk to me. I am calling corporate next. Not about $39 - principle. If you have a choice, pick a more respectful club. (also, there is a mask mandate and most of the weight lifters wear the masks around their chins and no one says anything).

Great center. Clean and the staff is pretty cool. Great trainer too! I definitely like this one over the other one on 24th and Oregon.

Employees are friendly and able to answer all my questions. Very clean and not to crowded every time I went.

I’m always greeted with a smile whenever I enter. My questions are always answered which means they are well trained.

There were a lot of available equipments that are up to date. The service provided by the staff was excellent. Everything went by smoothly and the facility is clean. I would definitely recommend here.

The gym was always clean, never a wait for equipment, and open when I needed it to be. Outside of some equipment not being offered (free-standing squat racks), I had a great experience at Planet Fitness.

They have all the machines anyone could need, lots of free weights, a quick circuit, and it’s large enough to never feel crowded. Oh, did I mention that it’s kept spotlessly clean?

This is a great gym nice clean facilities. The staff is friendly and helpful. The machines are in great condition and they offer lots of cleaning stations so you can clean your machine when you're done and before you start.

Quiet and clean place to zone out at. There's always someone cleaning the machines. Just a bit small place

It’s clean and the staff is friendly. My only gripe is that it’s not 24/7 like when I first signed up. I pay the same but have LESS options of when I can use the facility. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Looks visually clean. The atmosphere is depressing though. I came in with a free pass to check it out. The woman at the counter told me she would be right with me, then continued her personal conversation on the phone while I stood there, so I just walked in and she didn't care. Dudes staring, a group of little kids running around. Seems like they gave up

Decent clean gym. Equipments are sanitized, the wait time is less, to use the machines. Plenty of parking around the gym. Staff is attentive and helpful.

Could feel safer. There was a report of a theft in locker room

The whole staff was very nice and helpful in anyway I needed freedom the part of the staff that’s her name was actually very very nice she was the best different story is top notch everything wasExceptionally clean I would recommend this training exercise company to anybody I’m definitely gonna stay with this company for a long time

Just FYI the employees barely clean these machines. Be wary coming to a public gym if you're afraid of COVID. This is where I caught COVID last month. Otherwise it's a decent gym to attend for the price

It's good so far. A little dissapointed because it does not open 24hr everyday,(just from monday tru thursday) besides that it's decente. They can improve on the cleaning, I noticed the restroom has flies on the top wall. Service is good, and they be very helpful.

Low cost not really happy with cardio equipment but your free hydro massage free massage chair tanning are great and I like it's clean theme updated lockers. It has so many plusses for cost and the app is easy to use it's a easy 10

I am a senior and these individuals helped me and explained everything machine to me and told me to take my time they assisted me i really love the workers her at Christopher Columbus planet fitness in South Philadelphia..

This Planet Fitness location is great! It is quite big and spacious inside, there's plenty of equipment (which seems relatively new and it all works), and it isn't cramped either. Along with this, the staff is nice, the space is clean, and I like how cool and well ventilated it is from the fans running. The best part is is that there is a parking lot at this location. I just recently switched my home club to this PF location and I do not regret it! I look forward to continue coming here.

Staff is very hospital, there is also more space and equipment then a lot of other planet fitnesses. Keep up the great job!

I was there as a guest of a friend a couple days ago and extremely enjoyed my whole experience. The front desk staff was and is extremely helpful, kind, friendly, and professional! I also liked how it wasn't too crowded in the afternoon(4-5pm) I can't wait to go back and probably become a member myself! Happy holidays and God bless!
