Update: rather than respond meaningfully to my comment, the practice posted a generic response. Would not recommend this practice unless you are looking for minimal, largely anonymous, HMO-quality service. Doctors are friendly and mostly seem talented, but they are harried and have extremely limited time. They cannot invest substantially in data-informed preventative care to a level that I think patients should expect. Ex: It was going to take close to 5 months for me to get to see a cardiologist until I refused to wait, did a bunch of legwork, and demanded an alternative. Not acceptable, and I wonder what would have happened to a patient who had less ability to navigate the "system" and self-advocate. The office staff is often unfriendly, unhelpful, or incompetent. I understand that medical professionals are operating with a typical HMO system that does not value time, human connection, or customer service. So I am not "blaming" them. At the same time, as a patient, I look for those basics, as well as a more significant investment in preventative care. I'm going elsewhere.

Doctors are great. LOVE Connie Chen. Everything else is a night mare. People the I'll respond to you via portal and it's obvious they haven't read your message. I'm in a situation where I need medicine and the office swears I have medicine despite my telling that I do not. I'm out of my medicine and they honestly don't care. Very disappointed.

Dr. Sheikh was incredibly dismissive of my mental health concerns. Belittled me, told me to "just be brave", and laughed when I responded to his question about anti-anxiety medication. The appointment was interrupted multiple times, once for a nurse to print something out in the room I was being seen in. Clearly they don't care about their patients.

Stay away from CHA and Dr Md Sheikh! I went there for my annual preventative primary care check up, which is supposed to be cover 100% by my insurance, however just because I mentioned I recently had a headache when the doctor asked me how was my general health, CHA refused to bill this visit as an annual primary care check up, and instead billed it as a diagnostic visit, and charged me additional 200 out of pocket. I have never visited a clinic that’s so greedy.

Great doctors and nurses but I had very negative experiences with billing and scheduling appointments. After weeks of asking for an appointment, I finally got in (not for my PCP). I had a simple lab swab done. I was shocked to find a bill for $500 for the test after insurance. If you go here, check their estimated price for any service before accepting.

I used to Love CHA north, considered them like family. Yet idk what happened?! I’m currently on hold over 30 minutes for someone to answer. I have so many other complaints on customer service but I won’t go into that. Last time I called for my daughter who had an asthma episode I was told to go through my chart to get an urgent appointment.Mind you it was a follow up FOR AN ASTHMA INDUCED ER VISIT. Well this time I’m just trying to return a call from Brittney about my other daughter who I don’t have access to her my chart because she is 16. So what do I do? I have no idea what Brittney is calling me about. Makes no sense at all.

I wish I can give zero stars to this place. Rudest customer service I have ever experienced, their agents pretty much just yell at you through the phone and seem annoyed when you ask questions. I have a new insurance, I come in and they did not ask for the insurance information and charge me $700 for services they suggest me undergo (including a Covid shot that should be free). Working with their agents through the phone and I was yelled at. Please don't go to this clinic, they only want to suggest services so they can get more money and don't care about customers at all. Judging from other comments and a friend's experience here, you have to be careful when answering questions from them too because they might code your visit differently to get more money. Do not accept the lab tests they suggest to you, I have no trust in this clinic, you might get charged crazy high amounts without your knowledge.
