PERSONA JEWELRY+ of Boston was created by co-owners Margarita Druker and Gary Shteyman ten years ago. Together they have truly altered the perception of the Boston jewelry industry. This includes an exquisite eye for fashion jewelry, as well as two decades as a professional custom jeweler, while still providing simple jewelry repair and servicing. The eye and instinct of the creative team housed within Persona Jewelry+ leaves an indelible impression on anyone who ventures into their elegant environment.

Persona Jewelers is my new long term jeweler because of three issues: trust, fanatical excellence, and kindness. I won't go anywhere else. First, trust: Gary listened to my concerns about not allowing my diamond out of my sight while I was getting a new setting. Many jewelers expect you to leave your loose stone with them while they take it in another room to set it. Gary let me keep my stone in my sight the entire time. Moreover, he took time to find and to show me the unique features of my stone, compare it with other diamonds and cubic zirconium so that I would be able to prevent any potential future deceit. Second, excellence: Gary working reminds me of a fantastic conductor rehearsing a fine orchestra to perfection. He is a master. Third, kindness: Gary had the opportunity to charge me extra after giving me his price, for a service that came up after, and didn't. His prices are not cheap, nor should they be for the level of work he does, but he isn't out to gouge the customer. It is rare to find all these qualities in one business (and his sales reps are nice, too). My new setting for my ring is strong and gorgeous. I will not be looking for another jeweler.

Best shopping experience that one can imagine. We purchased our wedding rings, a bracelet and had Gary engrave a watch that we purchased for my father in-law over the years. What always amazed me is the extent of customization that Gary is ready to do, and tirelessly work at something until we were completely happy with our purchase. He made a custom infinity ring for my wife based on a sketch that she provided on a piece of paper. Then we worked together to choose a stone (blue sapphire), try out a mold, as well as address a few things we wanted to re-work on the actual ring. Throughout the process Gary was always available to provide us with knowledgeable input and my wife still gets dozens of complements on the ring years later. In conclusion, Persona is a one stop shop for any Jewelry needs that one might have, there is no need to look somewhere else!

I had Gary at Persona design and build an engagement ring and I could not have been happier with every step of the process. Gary took the time to show me several diamonds and settings until we landed on the perfect combination. His calming presence immediately took the stress out of the entire process. I could immediately tell I was in the right hands with Gary and his team. The ring was ready before I knew it, and I could not have been happier. They do STUNNING work! Persona has created all of my custom designs since they opened in 2004. Now I live out of state and I still trust Persona over any other jeweler I've met to get the best value, best craftsmanship and the entire familial vibe that they are known for. This is the best place for Gary's custom pieces, unique gifts, jewelry for everyone in the family from Gary or other designers, or to handcraft your very own special piece of memorabilia. I can't imagine a more honest or kinder group of people. Charles Street, Beacon Hill, and Boston as a whole are lucky to have this hidden gem.

We had an awesome experience here. I was looking for a wedding band that would fit with my irregularly shaped engagement ring and Gary was able to design something beautiful based on my description of what I was thinking. He had the great idea to have the rings “click together” making a beautiful unique piece. My husband also bought his wedding band here and got a lot of help figuring out his style when he didn’t know what he wanted going in. Everyone is very welcoming and knowledgeable which was very helpful when you don’t know much about fine jewelry! I sent my friend here as well for a custom band to go with her engagement ring and it was a very different design that also looked beautiful.

Came in last minute to fix my engagement ring (it was bent) and wedding band (slightly too small) before my wedding - they were able to fix them immediately. They even cleaned both rings for me. They were super helpful and kind. The jeweler is very talented and their staff is very sweet. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Gary was the best jeweler. He helped design my engagement ring and wedding band, during the process he was very patient with me. At one point I thought I lost my engagement ring and he was so nice that he comforted me. Luckily it wasn’t lost and I’m happily married and now I have these rings to cherish for the rest of my life.

I had such a wonderful experience at Persona - they helped with resetting a family ring and also designing a new ring using a pair of earrings. They were incredibly helpful from the very beginning of the process, and continued to remain in touch throughout until the rings were ready for pickup. We needed to have our custom wedding rings resized just a few days before our wedding (they were made a bit too small), and Gary very confidently assured us that he would take excellent care of our one of a kind rings and could turn them around in 24 hours. The finished product was incredible. Both rings were expertly resized, and both looked fantastic after Gary polished them to bring out their color and texture. He also resized my engagement ring, and replaced two missing stones (which had been bothering me for months). All in all, we had nothing but positive things to say about Gary and Persona Jewelry, and will go there for any and all jewelry-related needs from now on. Wish I could give him six stars!

Gary did an absolutely amazing job designing our engagement ring from a family diamond. I didn't know what I wanted but he got a great sense for my style and created a design I love. Everyone who has seen it thinks it's a perfect combination of vintage and modern.

Couldn’t be happier with my wedding band. I wanted something really special and unique so I just sketched my idea and brought it to discuss with the jeweler. Gary was so easy to work with, he helped me with loose stones, updated me on every step, let me try the wax model before it was cast in metal. The ring came out exactly the way I wanted it. I would highly recommend this store for custom projects. I’m also just in love with the unique jewelry style of this store so this is now my to go spot for jewelry gifts.
