Our experience at Ore began when my then-boyfriend took our grandmothers' rings to Sophie, asking her to combine them into a new engagement ring. As it was a secret from me, they had to collaborate together to design a style I would love, still incorporating all the sentimental elements from the heirloom rings. The result was spectacular and I couldn't have been happier! That's why we chose to go back to Sophie to have her design our wedding bands, using the remaining materials from the same family rings, plus additional gold from my husband's grandfather's wedding band. I also went to Sophie to have her create my wedding earrings, using remaining gold and diamonds from my grandmother's ring, as well as sapphire gemstones she found for me—exactly what I had envisioned. Even more beautiful, actually. Sophie is a creative genius and a true artist, not to mention a consummate professional who made us feel at home every time we walked through the door. She can create something absolutely unique and magical if you're looking for wedding bands or an engagement ring that reflects who you are as a couple. No one else will have anything like it, and the quality is clearly one-of-a-kind, ethically sourced, and wholly custom. No question or request was too much for the team at Ore, who were all gracious, accommodating, friendly, and warm. We worked with Jillian to create a custom engagement ring using an heirloom stone passed down from multiple generations. The whole process from initial appointment to final pick up could not have been smoother. Jillian was completely transparent about pricing and presented us with several options before we decided on the ring design. Through several visits, countless kind e-mails, and meetings with Sophie, we ended up with very unique wedding bands that we truly treasure. After exploring a number of interesting and creative paths with the staff, we found our way to a pair of rings that are perfectly suited to who we are. We had such a lovely experience with Sophie Hughes and the staff at Store Ore! My now husband and I do not live in the area, and she was willing to work with him remotely to design a custom engagement ring based off of the lovely rings on her website. When we had the opportunity to go to Boston and meet her in person, she had the ring just as designed along with other potential rings in case we wanted something different. We also worked with her to design a wedding band to go with the ring! Additionally, her work is gorgeous and unique. I love my rings so much and receive compliments all the time! The process couldn’t have been more seamless and enjoyable. I worked with Jillian on resetting a family diamond to use to propose to my girlfriend. Our experience working with the ladies at Ore was absolutely unparalleled. My fiance bought my engagement ring there, and was exceptionally nervous about finding the right ring. The women at Ore were kind, helpful, did not make him feel pressured, and ultimately helped him choose an incredibly gorgeous and unique ring -- I couldn't have picked a better one myself! When it came time to buy our wedding bands we knew there was nowhere we would get better service OR a better product than Ore. We called to set up an appointment a few months after my fiance had bought my engagement ring and they actually remembered him by name, AND they remembered immediately over the phone what ring he had chosen for me! We came into the store for our appointment and they had so many beautiful options of wedding bands to choose from to compliment the unique shape of my ring, and lots of stunning options for my fiance to choose from as well. I ended up getting two wedding bands for myself, and I was truly made to be a partner with the women at Ore in making sure every detail of the rings were perfect for both me and my engagement ring. During that time I went to the store multiple times, and was emailing them lots of questions and thoughts - they were ALWAYS quick to respond, helpful, and incredibly kind. The staff are clearly well-trained, professional, and offer lots of great advice without ever being pushy. We also chose to have our wedding bands engraved, and the final product is absolutely gorgeous (I actually even had small diamonds hammered into one of my wedding bands - picture attached was taken before the diamonds were put in). I can't express enough how wonderful it was to have the process of getting our rings be so personal and special. We both certainly feel so much more excited and sentimental about our rings because of how special of a process this was. I cannot recommend Ore highly enough; THANK YOU for such a wonderful experience and for such beautiful rings -- we will most definitely be back!

I can't overstate how incredible it was working with Sophie, Lia and Olga at Ore! My (now) husband and I were planning our nuptials in under 8 weeks and I'm so glad one of our first stops was to the shop to get our wedding bands started. I've been a huge fan of Sophie for several years now and knew her range of jewelry designs and custom pieces would satisfy what each of us was looking for. Our consultation was incredibly informative and we learned a lot of the nuanced differences between metals and design choices. With a surprising amount of ease, we were able to create a set of customized wedding bands based on Sophie's previous designs and offerings that were totally unique to us, and we absolutely love them! My husband opted for the wide flat band with matte finish in green gold, and I went for a two-toned tapered band in gray gold with green gold overlay, with Sophie's signature hammered finish. I love the layered dimension that's built into such a clean design. We were so grateful to Sophie & her team for working within our super tight timeline. It was abundantly clear through all our interactions that they are so invested in, and excited about, each couple, and individual person, who walks through the door. Whether your wedding is an intimate elopement or a 300 person multi-day affair, the rings are one of—if not the singular—component of all the planning that actually become a part of your marriage itself. I have no doubt that the staff at Ore know this to be true, and could not recommend a better place to go when the stakes are so high.
