Recently I had the great pleasure of working with Harout Mouradian to realize my vision for a diamond engagement ring for my then to be, fiancee. At the time, I was unable to visit Harout at his place of business and so began our discussions about what I had in mind by email. He was very willing to accommodate me this way and responded quickly and clearly to the design elements that I hoped to reflect in this most special ring. I really appreciated his willingness to engage with me online until I was able to meet him in person in Boston. I knew that I wanted a vivid yellow diamond as the center stone of this ring and he quickly suggested a stone that was ideal in all the aspects that I valued the most. We finalized the design in-person and I found Harout to be a consummate professional and gentleman in this process.. He listened to what I wanted to convey through this design and made thoughtful and practical suggestions including adjustments to certain elements that enhanced the final design while reducing the total price of the ring. I always felt that he wanted to achieve the vision we shared and never felt that I was being encouraged to spend more than necessary. Harout also incorporated special features in the ring (band) that made it more stable and comfortable for my fiancee to wear. The ring always presents beautifully on her hand (something that I notice and enjoy). This small but important touch exemplifies Harout's craftsmanship and attention to detail. The process of working with Harout meant a great deal to to me. The final product in the form of this special ring brings everything together for my fiancee and me. In her words "I knew that I would like whatever you chose for me, I just didn't know how much I would LOVE this ring". Harout will forever be central to this wonderful experience.
