👍👍 I've done >60 escape rooms. Bonnaroo has some of the best quality, across all rooms, but especially Storytellers Secret, which was the most adorable room I've ever played. Good puzzles. Good service. Magician has combo locks but the puzzles to solve them are fun. People often mention room, rooms, escape, puzzles, great, Secret, experience, time, recommend, Boxaroo,

We had such an incredible time here! The staff are friendly and create a wonderful environment. We did the museum room and it was just challenging enough to cause some confusion but not impossible! 7 felt like the perfect amount of people to complete it! I could not recommend this place enough to go as a group of friends!

Super fun, great activity to do with friends! This was by far the best escape room I have ever done. We did the Magician’s Study, and the puzzles were very creative and unique. The whole room setup from furnishings to atmosphere was incredible, and our guide was extremely helpful and kind. Would highly recommend, and we will be coming back again!

Wow. I've done 30 escape rooms and we did the storyteller room. It was so much more different than any room I've ever done. In a good way. You can tell the story, atmosphere and puzzles were extremely well thought out. Our host, Dell, was fantastic and answered any questions we had before and after the room. Even telling us about how the room works with some of the puzzles and the amount of time in the room. Overall highly recommended to anyone new and experienced. I still keep thinking about the room and it makes me smile.

Storyteller’s Secret is ABSOLUTELY 200% WORTH IT! I wish I could get amnesia, just to go do it again! I’ve done over 20 room escapes ranging within the US and Europe and this HANDS DOWN is the most impressive room I’ve ever done! This room is technically impressive and you get bonus riddles if you’re fast enough. I’ve seen most escape rooms use several locks and safes which gets redundant and boring after a while, but THIS ROOM only had one lock and the rest is pure imaginative genius! The rooms that I’ve down with this level of sophisticated tech almost always run into some technical issues, BUT this place was FLAWLESS! It was so incredibly impressive! I can’t stop talking about it. Everyone should experience this magical room! COVID safety: I’d rate it 10/10, so super safe!! We were brought down and screened for any COVID related illness or if we traveled within the last 2 weeks. They provide hand sanitizer. Besides the game master, we were the only ones in the room and in the lobby. Everyone is required to keep their mask on the whole time. They sanitize the room after every game. I would go back in a heart beat!

We had so much fun in the Story Tellers Secret! Charlie was an amazing host and there were so many new and fun things to see in the room. Highly recommend (but I would not recommend for children under 10-even if your kid genius😂). This room is so beautifully thought out and intricate, great job Fro and team! We went straight from Storytellers Secret to Conundrum Museum with Percy, another amazing host! Great staff here at boxaroo🤍 loved this experience too, the beginning is so dramatic and wonderful, puzzles were well thought out and the room takes some great twists and turns. Last, but certainly not least, we played Mystery of the Magicians Study. This was probably my second favorite of the day (right after Storytellers Secret) and Fro was an amazing host! The detail and intention put into each room/puzzle was so inspiring. Fro and his partner have created a masterpiece at Boxaroo, well done!!! 👏👏👏

On a family trip to Salem, MA we decided to spend one day in Boston so we booked an escape room! Get to the place and find out I made my reservation for the following day! He said he’d try to figure something out and call me back. Luckily an amazing woman Brie who was there doing maintenance on the rooms agreed to let us in and escape our room!! Can’t express how thankful we were for her!! We played the Storyteller’s Secret and it was such a cool room!! A little on the easier side, we escaped with 20 minutes to spare!! We’re pretty good at escape rooms though, so maybe it wasn’t an easy room, we’re just super awesome!! It was easily my favorite part of our trip!! Thanks Brie and thanks to the guy who went above and beyond and asked Brie to help us out!!

This is was so much fun! I never know what to expect when going to escape rooms in other states but I had such a great time. We ended up doing the Museum one which is the hardest and typically requires 4 people. Which I do recommend since we struggled with one puzzle. Our "Tour Guide" was great and even came in when one the "puzzles" opened early. I cannot wait to go back to try out their 75 minute room.

Wow! We flew into Boston and reached out to Boxaroo to squeeze in an escape. We ended up being over 30 minutes late, but the awesome team at Boxaroo still allowed us 40 minutes to escape (another booking was coming in right after us). The Mystery of the Magician room was amazing 🤩 We got out just in time, and had loads of fun. The room was super fun and the crew was just helpful enough without giving anything away. I just wish I could forget it all and do it again for the first time. We have done over 100 in-person escapes, and this experience is definitely one not to miss if you’re in the Boston area. We can’t wait to do the Storyteller’s Secret room there.

Well run, COVID safe, and just the right level for our family with teens and young adults. Highly recommend as a small group activity. There's a little something for everyone, no matter what your skills are. I'm looking forward to trying one of their other puzzles.

This was the best escape room of our lives. We are big escape room fans and have done around 10 total. The puzzles were the perfect amount of challenge, and everything worked so well with the full automation. Staff was nice and friendly, story was easy to follow and exciting to complete. We can’t wait to go back!

We went to Boxaroo as a holiday team event for our company. It was a lot of fun. If you've never tried an escape room, go for it. We had a few people who had never been to one, and they plan to go back with friends and family. I have gone to a few now, and this was a real good experience and very interactive. It is also well positioned in Boston so that afterwards you can find a nice place to eat or drink.

As enthusiastic adventurers, we tackled all three rooms in a tightly packed tour de force, and they turned out to be a crescendo of wonder: starting with the "Conundrum Museum," moving on to "The Mystery of the Magician's Study," and finishing with a bang in "Storyteller's Secret," a room that I believe is truly one of a kind. An adventure where gameplay and storyline merge and unfold into an unexpectedly magical finale, much like the various narratives within it. We want to extend our gratitude once again to Robert for allowing us to stick to this tight schedule while still managing to keep the playtime reserved for us. Thanks also to the other Masters who stepped in to provide assistance when they understood our difficulty in solving a language-related puzzle, as it is not our native language." Storyteller’s Secret was perhaps the most beautiful and captivating room I’ve had the fortune to play. I would say I was dumbfounded by the room, but it’s not true - I kept oohing and aahing as the adventure unfolded before my eyes. And Brie’s joy at their job rounds out the experience perfectly!

My partner and I did the Storyteller's Secret. It was so fun, the best escape room that I have been to, honestly. The rooms were meticulously design and you can tell a lot of love and creativity went into making it. I definitely want to come back in the future for their other rooms. Took a little above an hour which is nice that we didn't get our adventure cut short. However, location was a bit hard to find but that's not really their fault just an fyi

Boxaroo is easily the best escape room venue I have ever been to, out of roughly a dozen venues I've visited. The production quality is super, the rooms are immersive, the puzzles are logically consistent, and the prices are fair. Wonderful staff, too! For two different rooms, when my friends and I finished early, we were given behind-the-scenes tours by friendly and energetic hosts. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

We were visiting from out of state and looked up escape rooms in Boston, and Boxaroo showed up with good reviews, and for good reason! the Storyteller’s Secret was one of the best rooms we’ve ever done! The props, puzzles, storyline… all were great! It was challenging and fun. We’ve done several rooms different places that were just a combination of padlocks and codes, and these puzzles were a challenging breath of fresh air. Thanks Boxaroo!

New to escape rooms but I'm worried I started at the top! This was so much fun and I definitely want to do more escape rooms because of my experience here! Highly recommend the staff was kind, funny, and super into it; the room was really well put together and the puzzles were excellent.

Perfect Father's Day gift! Our family of 5, with 3 college teens, loved Conundrum Museum. It was a great experience with lots of challenging, intriguing puzzles, cool connections, and fun interactive teamwork-required skills. Highly recommend!

I am so grateful to the team at Boxaroo! I came in on a trip, and they were willing to accommodate me playing their Magician's Study room as a solo player (and yes, I escaped!) It was an amazing room, and very well put together. I can't recommend them enough.

Our host was great. The experience was fun, the rooms were so creative and really made you feel like you were somewhere else. We did storytellers secret. It was a unique twist on an escape room. My friends and I enjoyed this room and can’t wait to try another.

We've done 50+ escape rooms, this was an excellently designed room. Some new puzzle types we hadn't run into yet. The guide was friendly and gave the correct level of nudges when needed without just giving the solutions away. As far as cons: 1. They are unreachable. If you want or need to talk to a human... Well you just can't. We like to walk up to escape rooms and get some feedback on difficulty before booking, and we could not do that here. 2. They still require masking as of August 2022. I assumed those were just website notices they had forgotten to change in the last 6 months, but no. Somehow in that basement, it's still mid 2020, and apparently the calls from the CDC don't reach down there. It's a bit of a drag. As far as the rooms go, top notch. I assume they'll still be requiring masking well into the 2030s, but probably still worth visiting in spite of that.

Wes was a great game master! Personable and knowledgeable, he gave us a great experience. We did the storybook room and havent seen anything like it before, even after having done 50+ rooms. The level of the props and complexity of the game were unmatched. My only critique is that we did the puzzles twice in the course of the room. I thought then the room could have been half as long. However spending more time in this beauty of a room was so pleasant I didn’t want to leave.

Had a great time! I've done a few escape rooms before and this ranks up near the top. We did "The Mystery of the Magician's Study" with a group of 5 people, which ended up being a good size for us. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the puzzles were very thoughtfully designed. I also liked the hints that the employees gave; they were subtle and mostly served to re-focus us on something we had overlooked rather than just giving away answers.

Amazing experience! We completed the Story Teller's Secret and the set design, puzzles, and technology were so creative. We had both experienced escape room enthusiasts and beginners with our group and found it challenging and fun. Shout out to Wes our host for making it a fantastic experience all around. Would recommend and visit again!

My two 13-year-olds and I had maybe the best quality time we’ve spent together in months. Perfect balance of challenge and manageable (thanks to some hints and a little bonus time because no one was booked after us). We laughed all the way home recollecting our funniest missteps. It’s no easy thing to have a blast with moody teenagers, but this was a home run. We’ll be back!

The best escape room I have ever visited. Wes, the host, was great, and his hints for the puzzle were subtle but helpful. The decorations were superb and helped to create an entirely immersive experience. Really well done!

I've done about 15 escape rooms so far, and this one ranks near the top. Did the conundrum museum, the puzzles were very well integrated with the theme and there was enough for all of us to be working on different things at the same time. Would highly recommend. Excited to come back to try the other rooms!

Best escape room we've done! Beautifully set up, really engaging, the pace was great, and staff were welcoming and helpful. We had a fantastic time!

Awesome experience. We did Magician’s Study and Storyteller’s Secret. Both rooms had phenomenal storytelling, beautiful sets, and great mysteries. Puzzles were well designed and not difficult just for the sake of being difficult. Gamemaster was very friendly and helpful (so sorry i forgot her name). Will definitely do their third room on a return trip someday.

👍👍 Our Game Master for The Pirate's Booty II was a DELIGHT. Even if the escape room had been utterly boring, we would have still had fun because of him. However, the escape room was excellent. We had a 90 minute car ride home, and we joked and laughed about our experience the entire ride.
